The staff.

Every single detail at the property feels so thoughtfully planned and intentional. The bed was incredibly comfortable, there were thoughtful touches of quality products in the rooms, and the patio overlooking the rushing river was absolutely tranquil. The restaurant in the hotel isn’t just a standard restaurant that most hotels have for the convenience of their guests. This was an INCREDIBLE meal - easily the best of our entire trip. The chef’s creativity and execution of flavours is some of the best we’ve had even in major cities and absolutely deserving of a Michelin star at incredible value. The staff were so warm and welcoming and made us feel completely at home on our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We really loved the place! It is so charming! The rooms are comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. The staff was very nice. The breakfast and dinner was excellent. We will love to go back.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The dinners were top notch with excellent service. We easily walked to town. It was close to hiking in Picos de Europa.

The internet only worked on the ground floor, not in our room in the first floor.

Great location to tour Picos de EUROPA and enjoy rural Spain. Make sure you dine at the restaurant, great food and presentation.

Staff are really REALLY nice. Food (dinner and breakfast) are well made and delicious. Close to town and trails.

Mattress is soft for our preference (but this is personal preference and most hotels we stayed in northern Spain have soft beds).

Large room, cleanliness, comfortable space. Waterfall next to room was beautiful.

Waterfall was noisy but closing windows helped. Restaurant was only open from 8:30pm to 10pm for dinner. A little far from town.

Wonderful and highly recommended. Convenient location right outside of Arenas de Cabrales. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing, and breakfast as well!

Lovely hotel. Beautiful quiet location.

Problem with sewage odor (usually an issue with drain venting) in the bathroom made the bathroom very unpleasant. We had to keep the bathroom door closed. Don’t know if this affects all rooms or only the one we had.

Perfect value for the price. Exceptional attention to guest that can be noticed in tiny details - good-quality shower gels, shampoos, soaps, small presents during check out, delicious appetisers presented in the restaurant, attentive and polite staff.

Amazing restaurant. Difficult to find such a high-end proposition somewhere else for this price.Rooms are really cosy and clean too, with terrace.Would definitely recommend it. One of the best (if not the best) hotels we've been so far for this price range.Bravo Juansabeli !

This hotel was a wonderful find and we were extremely happy with the cleanliness and location. the room was big with an added bonus of hearing cascading water through the window. The bar is lovely with nice views across to the picos.

Our check in could have been a bit more welcoming. The young man who checked us in was quite rude and not very forthcoming with providing information about the hotel or answering some of our simple questions. But we did not let that put us off.
