    Pros +

    • We liked everything about this place including that they have parking but we didn't need it because there was parking right in front of the hotel! The breakfast was good and they maker their own churros batter on site! The hotel lobby was decorated for Halloween which we all found fabulous! The gardens were lovely and the hotel is fabulously situated in the middle of the town. Everything was walkable. I would love to go back in the summer to use their fabulous pool overlooking the mountains!
    • Good pool , clean good room, good parking facilities
    • Great location and parking with nice pool.

    Cons -

    • Nothing to say here.
    • Small pool out of use
    • I think if people eat in the restaurant (not guests) then they can use the pool. So all the children took over the pool at times screaming and jumping in and throwing balls! We didn’t eat at the hotel as we had an apartment but the restaurant looked very unwelcoming and out dated. The hotel needs the decor updating It took about 30 mins to check us in!! (3 guests)

    Good location.

I woke up in the middle of the night to the noise of blinds from other rooms. The breakfast was of poor quality - eggs with a burnt taste. Shower with a broken holder. Wifi not working, not even in restaurant

Unfortunately I can’t recommend this hotel, I am the kind of the person that don’t like to leave bad reviews but I have no option at all :/ The hotel is very noise, they had a party very loud till midnight and the hotel allow dogs so one of the guest left the dog in the room by itself and the dog barked till the end of the party, I guess the dog was frightened by all the noise from the party? Anyway, the owner shouldn’t let the dog by itself in the room! Breakfast was a mess and a joke at the same time :( you choose a main course ( eggs) + bread+ coffee + a small yogurt and that’s all , I couldn’t believe when I saw it , apart from that it took 45 minutes to come to the table because they have too many people as the breakfast starts at 8:15 am ( very late) … so everyone went at the same time , some people didn’t have table to sit and had to wait stand , even a pregnant woman, I feel sorry for her and tried to eat as fast as I could to give my table to her :/ Staff from the dinner room work very hard , the problem is they need to hire more people when the hotel is full , I feel sorry to the staff because some people were very angry complaining to them , I was angry too but I kept sitting there for 45 minutes till someone comes to our table with our poor breakfast! Also the hotel doesn’t look like as in the picture, I had no Mountain View and the swimming pool was full of mold or whatever you can call when it looks green … I was in a road trip in Spain and been in different hotels that one was the worse, I also have been travelling around the world for many years and I don’t even remember the last time that I stayed in a hotel with such bad breakfast , I always read the reviews and I didn’t get anyone mentioning it and even about noise , so I was really disappointed by ! Also I am a blogger so they missed the opportunity of me recommending the hotel on my article :/

I nightmare, slept very bad !

Good, decent hotel with a gorgeous garden. Central location to restaurants and bars. Free public car park located nearby from hotel.

Good location in the centre of Lanjaron, large comfortable room, the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. There’s a restaurant downstairs that serves a good breakfast choice, there’s a swimming pool & garden.

Nothing of note, the aircon wasn’t working properly, however this was rectified.

De service en de ligging. Aardige receptioniste

    3tritinia_Posted on: 7-31-2023

There wasn't much to like. It was near downtown and clean, although dated.

The room was very dated and cluttered with unnecessary furniture. It was like going back to the 70s. For a triple room, it was too tight, more with the crib. Power sockets were minimum and dangerous-looking. On our first night there was some kind of unannounced concert in the pool area (under our room) until midnight, it was impossible to get the baby to sleep. The sliding door was very old and didn't isolate properly from the sound. On our second night, some of the hotel works did a private party by the pool with music and talks until passed midnight.

The pool was fantastic good location in the middle of town

The bathroom was dirty and the shower curtain too small, could hear the people next door talking,

    Lovely hotel. Perfectly positioned.

I know it is not customary in spain but I do miss having a kettle in room to make an early or late coffee.

    7KathrynPosted on: 3-20-2023

Loved breakfast, great value, moved to nicer sized room after being asked to move rooms, the first one was inland and smelt musty.

The place was in the middle of having renevations which we were not warned about, so it was very dusty... definitely looks alot more worn from the photos on the booking site, but still a pleasent stay mainly due to staff and location.

The hotel is a beautiful building. which looks as though it was updated in the 1980’s or 90’s. The grounds are lovely. On arrival, the receptionist was very helpful and although our spoken languages were different he made a great effort and was very kind. Our room was large and comfortable. Double aspect patio doors leading out to a slim wrap around balcony. 2 single beds as well as a small double.beds are very comfortable with lovely clean linen. Spare blankets available. We went for half board included. The waiting staff were very efficient and friendly with us. The dining room was packed (Spanish coach trip?). it was frenzied at times. Food was very basic. Dinner- “hash” soup was delicious. My corn battered fish and veg was right out of Farmfoods. Hot and edible. Breakfast was the same scenario. Furious older Spanish people shouting and gesticulating about their churros and coffee. We love people watching and felt sympathy for the waiting staff. Once again they were friendly and kind to us.Lovely Madeira cake, lots of toast, margarine and marmalade, fried eggs and hotdogs. Instant coffee and Libby’s (?) orange. We loved meeting this hotel and Lanjaron. Beautiful town.

The macerator in the bathroom did sound like a Didgeridoo. We thought this was great!

Nice Hotel in a center of a small town, free private parking in a garage for motorcycle, good value for money

    8GrPosted on: 10-9-2022

Great staff, great location and very clean.

The pillows could have been better. The plumbing made a noice when people ran the water.

    8MichaelPosted on: 10-7-2022

good location, easy to find, clean tidy. very basic but clean tidy with NO issues. Waste water piping noisy, some of other guests had little respect for others regarding their noise. Rooms basic but clean Nice view over the pool, staff always busy cleaning/ tiding the garden,

very minor issues, noise from pipe work and noisy guests, could do with minor refurb looking a little dated. would be nice to fridge in room,

    8JoPosted on: 10-5-2022

Great location in the centre of the town, with free parking available on site. Lovely gardens and swimming pool.Breakfast was good with generous portionsAlthough somewhat dated the room and the hotel were clean and tidy.

There were several big tour groups in the hotel when we stayed. At breakfast the staff were quite stretched at times and the groups seemed to be prioritised which resulted in our having to wait for a long time to be served. However, the staff were lovely and really appreciated the novelty of having a breakfast served at your table rather than a buffet.
