    Pros +

    • The food and location was amazing. We had free breakfast and dinner (all buffet) with delicious food that exceeded our expectations. The ski gondola was just 100 mts from the hotel which was super convenient for us, not having to take a bus or drive there. The rooms were decent.
    • Location is great and very central. As a base for me and my boy it was ideal. The bed was comfortable and the room clean if a little dated.
    • Basic, clean, comfortable and great location.

    Cons -

    • The rooms were okay, just what you need to basically spend the night but they could definitely invest a bit more as they look a bit oldish.
    • The food is not the greatest but breakfast was OK. Only had one meal in the evening then went out as it wasn't great food
    • Short staffed. Same girl running the bar and reception.Would be interested to know if anyone else has experienced ghostly goings on during their stay.

Very well located next to the ski lifts, and although it was short staffed the people were very friendly and careful Honest breakfast

I made my reservation for a triple room 2 months prior to my arrival, Booking confirmed and charged me before we got there but to my surprise, at the check in they couldn’t find my reservation. Julieta, the check in attendant, was very helpful, and after 20 minutes trying to find a solution, she gave us the room. It was on the 3rd floor with a staircase from the 2nd to the 3rd floor, and it was a horrible room. Small, with a very low ceiling, inappropriate for 3 people, totally different from the pictures on the site.It seems that they messed up with my reservation and gave us the worst room available.I tried to change the room and they didn’t have another triple room available. I had to accommodate my son into a friend’s room who was alone, and they moved me to a double room at my request. The point is, hadn’t I had the luck to have a friend traveling together and able to receive my son in his room, my trip would have been terrible.I have been using Booking for more than 10 years, and I totally relied on this app, but now, after this episode, I feel that I can’t trust it as much as I did.Carlos

The staff and location are excellent

Room had loads of black mould, not good for an asthmatic. I did ask for a new room but they couldn’t move us. The shower was also horrendous, I don’t think I’d stay there again.

Close to gondola. Nice bar. Good food.

Snowboards had to be kept in our room.

The location is absolutely fantastic—just a short walk to the ski station in Arinsal, with stunning views to enjoy! The showers were great, and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a relaxing stay after a day on the slopes.

The breakfast was decent, but the variety of options was very limited. Fresh scrambled eggs weren’t available, and on some days, even when requested, there was a long wait to get them. This could be improved to enhance the overall breakfast experience.

    Good hotel, nice location

the second night I changed to different room, very small one, I couldnt take shower standing, because of the roof.

Thanks a lot to very helpful staff who thought about us and left the key for the room for us who came at midnight after the check-in time. Overall, the hotel isn't fancy but it's clean and the breakfast was good.

We came too late (our fault of course) and there was nobody to explain us where to park properly and as a result we got a parking fine next morning. It's not the hotel's fault, but just be careful with parking in the area and require clear instructions.

Andorra's capital was busy when we arrived but the traffic calmed down as we drove towards La Massana and then Arinsal. Hotel Camapedrosa is on the main street of Arinsal, which is a ski resort in the winter but evidently still a lively tourist destination in early May! Our room was a standard twin room but had two of the tiniest balconies I've ever seen - each has only just enough room for a small chair! But they looked over the main street, so great for people-watching. The hotel receptionist was also in charge of the bar and she was friendly and welcoming and rustled up bar snacks for us hungry travellers! Breakfast was included in our room price and served in the bar next morning - very tasty and suitably filling! There is a large free public car park behind the hotel, so parking is easy and there's also a little trail which starts from it. As well as the 'old town' in the capital, we also visited the interesting Hydro-Electric museum in Encamp parish. The lady in the ticket office speaks English and she is very knowledgeable about the history of the museum building.

The staff here are absolutely amazing. Could not ask for better. WiFi is excellent, location and parking is excellent. Beds are very comfortable and the room was nice and warm. TV in the room was fine, and had channels in Spanish, Portuguese, french and English.Breakfast was good, except when busy as a lot of younger people were staying there. They would arrive first thing and hoarded all the pastries to take skiing with them. You'd watch them making baguettes etc and then taking them for lunch. Which meant if you didn't get there early you missed out. Dinner was excellent also. We had a set menu for 6 nights as it was quiet, but on Friday night there was a buffet which was amazing. Really nice. The bar downstairs was excellent, lovely locals, great prices on drinks and as I said excellent staff. The staff are the ones that make the place so good.

Annoyed as all rooms are advertised with a balcony. We did not have one, just a tiny room with 2 beds. Don't advertise what you don't have. Only half of their rooms have balconys I'd say. The ceiling light in the room was broken, instead of fixing it they just took it away and pushed the wires into the hole in the ceiling! The shower was in need of repair, leaking and mouldy grout. No window in the bathroom and no fan to extract the steam and smells. No storage to put ski gear and boots was a problem also. Just need a decent maintenance team to keep on top of the things that need doing. However I'm just pointing out the bad bits for an honest review. . I'd definitely stay here again

Nice personal. Price/ quality. Free parking nearby

The small heater wasn't working properly and the room was a bit cold.

The balcony with the awesome mountain view, Breakfast was amazing and more than enough for two travelers on a motorcycle. The staff gets a 10 out of 10!Perfect location for hiking the Pyrenees mountains. Only 15mins to the city center. Should you want to try other cuisines, there are numerous other options within walking distance

    Wish we could stay longer

Good value for money, good WiFi, nice staff.Taverna Comapedrosa is allways full with locals and has very tasty pizzas.

Its not a modern place, but for this price is the best in Andorra.

The location of the property is perfect for getting to the ski slopes and all the local restaurants and bars. The staff are very pleasant and very accommodating. The food was very nice we’re good size portions.Good size rooms with balconies

If you were at reception waiting on the book in,you could be waiting for a long time as the staff were also busy trying to serve bar, and the same the other way round, if they are booking someone in you would have to wait at the bar to be served. There was not enough staff to cover both. (this was not a short wait for people)The rooms and bathrooms are tired and in need of updating with cracked tiles and poorly hung showerheads etc.The last two years, that I have stayed in the hotel, there have been school trips staying. I am all up the kids having fun, however, they ran riot, banging on peoples doors, running away, screaming and shouting until early hours of the morning. There were other guests who were complaining about this, however, nothing was done about it.

    9TanyaPosted on: 3-10-2023

Excellent location. Close to ski lift and all amenities, bars, restaurants, etc.We will definitely come back to this hotel again.

Front desk staff were impossible to find, but very helpful once at the desk. The cleanliness could be a bit improved as there was mold in the shower tiles and cobwebs around the ceilings, but overall, it was exceptional value for money and we were very satisfied.
