This modern hotel is in the breathtaking countryside surroundings of the Cazorla Nature Reserve, Segura and Las Villas, which is the largest protected area in the whole of Spain. The hotel has a charming terrace and, in the summer months, there is an outdoor pool and bar. The exceptional area is a fantastic base to use for discovering the region or partaking in outings and daytrips (which can be arranged for you by the hotel). It is also a suitable destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The protected area has 500,000 acres of mountains and a number of unique species of flora and fauna. North east of Jaén, the beautiful surrounding landscape is made up of dense forests full of pine trees, along with olive groves and fields and romantic mountain villages.

- Location excellent superb shower really appreciated after our 30km 7 hour walk over the mountains staff very helpful and pleasant room clean and housekeeping good
- The hotel is nice, very well located. The pool area is great when you just want to relax for some time. We had breakfast in the hotel even though we didn't have it included and it was good. The room is nice and clean, a small balcony would be big plus! :)) In general everything good and would definitely recommend it.

- The long pillow in the bed was super hard and it was impossible to sleep on it. The remote control for air condition wasn't working but we didn't really mind since we only stayed for one night.

- It was beginning of March but still low season so many restaurants and cafeterias were closed in the area including the hotels restaurant. They only served us basic breakfast in the form of toast and coffee. Would have preferred buffet breakfast.

The location was excellent if your looking to do hiking. The beds and pillows were really comfy.The lady at reception was extremely helpful and friendly.
