Pros +
- Great hotel 5-10 minutes drive from La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand. But still, very calm and quiet.Staff is absolutely wonderful (kind, always pro-active, very knowledgeable about the region ... )Very clean, and Food was absolutely delicious > you can change the daily menu for a Fondue/Raclette or Tartiflette if you do not like the daily).Having access to the SPA (1h, daily reservation) was a great plus after a day skiing.
- The Spa at the hotel was very nice. There is a booking system so that it is not overcrowded, which worked well.As the pool was outside it wasn't in use- but looked lovely. The food at the hotel was very good indeed. We hadn't signed up for half board, but soon decided to book to eat in the restaurant every night. The half board menu was varied and good value. Also an a la carte menu offered, including fondu and raclette.
- Excellent location, with easy access to the slopes!⛷️The spa was a nice addition to relax in the evenings, and was never overcrowded. The staff were super helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay the most enjoyable! Would definitely stay here again :)
Cons -
- our bedroom was a bit cold sometimes ... but nothing bad
- Nothing really.
- The rooms were small and compact, however they were cosy and super comfortable! The general transportation in the area in the evenings is limited.

The hotel was very clean and was close to bars and restaurants as well as having a bar and restaurant on site. It also had a spa with sauna and jacuzzi that was bookable for private use. The kit drying room qas also very useful. The hotel was also only a few minutes walk to the ski bus stop, so we were able to take advantage of apres ski in La Clusaz. The staff were lovely and very helpful.
One of the children's mattresses was a little firm - but Frédéric was very helpful and provided an extra duvet to put under the sheet to make it more comfortable.
Dinner and location were excellent. The nature around the area was beautiful. The steam room was good, and the shower was satisfactory. The massage, especially the deep tissue massage, was awesome. The spa is very modern and clean, and the pool is nice and clean as well. The room was clean, with a good view. The breakfast buffet was okay. There aren't many options for those who enjoy a salty breakfast. There are eggs to boil, homemade jams (the strawberry jam was especially delicious), homemade cakes, muesli, and breakfast cereals. The buffet also includes bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, butter, yogurt, honey, fruity yogurt, orange and apple juice, fruits, a coffee machine, two types of charcuterie, Comté cheese, and more. However, if you are looking for bacon and scrambled eggs, you won't find them.
The staff, except for the cleaning guy, was cold, and the attitude of the lady responsible for the breakfast buffet and dinner service wasn't friendly to customers. It was indeed very strange. She was literally scolding and eye-rolling at customers. When it came to the cheese course for dinner, she wasn't even explaining what cheeses were available. She expected you to figure it out just by looking. When you didn't get it, she got angry. I know French cheese, but I can't always recognize them. At least put a name tag for the ones you serve. When you wanted to ask what it was, instead of answering, she just gave you the cheese. If you wanted to try all of them, I could tell she was annoyed, but it felt like she was annoyed all the time when it came to the guests. I barely saw her smiling at anyone. It felt like someone was holding her there against her will. If she doesn't like her job, she should try something else. I think they need to improve their attitude toward their guests in general since they're in the hospitality business. The customer isn't king in France, but there's no need to make them feel unwelcome. The jacuzzi and sauna need to be warmer.Plastic cups for drinking hot beverages aren't very ideal. The rooms don't have any air conditioning. The standard room is actually called an economy room there, and it's very small. The bed is extremely uncomfortable and small, especially for tall people. The bedding seems very old.The interior design needs renovation. Some may find the shower too small. It is small. If you are overweight, it would be difficult to get in.
Accommodation is good, staff very friendly and helpful. The food was very good.
The weather was hot during our stay, the room didn't have a/c so was a bit warm at night.
The spa was lovely, and available to guests at no extra cost - brilliant! The food was delicious, and we had the opportunity to switch menus to raclette, fondue, or tartiflette as we chose. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was great, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. A lot of effort went into making guests comfortable and welcome. Thank you!
It was difficult to control the temperature in our room - weather was mild so we got quite hot overnight.
friendly staff, great location, ample car parking, good food, family run feel, can’t do enough for you, really good value for money
Great location and view. Sauna and swimming pool were a great addition to our stay after the cycling rides
Breaking is quite simple, but okay
The Spa was good and clean and well organised so that there wasnt to many in at the same time
Friendly staff, nice location, good conditions and spa. Totally recommend for try their masterpiece dessert Cepe Savoy??
The view, ask for a view. Its very close to the centre
It was out of season so was a bit quiet.
A lovely hotel, a couple minutes walk from restaurants and shops. The room was very nice and cozy, including a balcony with a great view, and a comfortable (ie. large enough with modern amenities) bathroom. The whole staff was amazingly friendly and helpful with all my questions, and gave me pointers and suggestions for cool places to see and nice hikes around. The breakfast was also very nice, with fresh croissants and a welcoming smile every morning.
WiFi was very random (some evenings I could stream a movie, some evening I couldn't even read my mail). But the 4G coverage is good there, so not a big issue for us.
The location and pool
Too hot as no air conditioning however we were there in a hot period.
As last minute booking, we had the 3 beds room just above the pool. Really nice and totally clean room with spacious balcony. Very nice bathroom. Extremely well run and maintained hotel - all in place and beautiful. The small pool is great and comes with mountain views.
Breakfast is a bit low budget style, but croissants. homemade jams and coffee very good.
very good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff
