Pros +
- I loved everything about this hotel - it truly was a home away from home. More and more hotels these days are going for minimalistic, modern decor, so it was a breath of fresh air to stay somewhere that felt genuinely comfortable and homey, but still ultra clean with all the amenities you would expect to find at a more modern hotel. The bed was amazingly comfy, and the hotel went out of its way to provide wonderful service. I travelled with a large group and between us, we had two large vans and two smaller mini-vans, and the hotel went out of its way to ensure we checked in easily (even though it was after check-in hours) and parked securely. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, I would love to return for leisure so I can enjoy the town and scenery more.
- Great location. A few minutes walk from the bus station and all the restaurants and shops. Very close to several télécabine stations and slopes. Amazing view of the mountain from the balcony. The rooms are very cosy. The shower was good with high water pressure. The lift in the hotel is very handy for luggages. Staff are very friendly.
- Hotel was in a perfect location to ski in and out as well as being within walking distance of restaurants, bars, small supermarkets etc Full board was super handy with plenty of variety, fresh ingredients and tasty courses. Staff were excellent, so caring and kind. Always smiling and nothing seemed to be a problem for them. The ski boot room was easily accessible. We asked for a balcony and were able to sit out during the day watching the skiers below in the sunshine. The hotel is super quiet and we had an excellent sleep every night.
Cons -
- The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't stay longer.
- The pillows are really uncomfortable, with very thin and lumpy fillings that have no support at all. The toilet papers are not toilet rolls, but very thin small tissues. The hairdryer is quite outdated (a tube fixed on the wall) and difficult to use, as it has very low power (so taking longer to dry hair) but the tube gets too hot to hold quickly.
- The hotel could use some modern updates throughout. It has a very homely feel and is very clean but some areas are tired. We especially felt our bathroom could be updated.

Good for a night in la clusaz
Hot tub was far to high in chlorine. it made our eyes water
Everything, location, facilities and staff.
Great ski-in, ski-out location. Nice decor and atmosphere. Helpful staff. Nice bar area.
Generally very good. Breakfast was ok but not great - better eggs would have been good. Ski storage is slightly separate from the hotel but not a big issue. If you get the public bus to the town, you have to walk up the hill a little to reach the hotel.
Location, facilities, room all great.
Had to change rooms to have a room with a balcony for whole stay, although a balcony was confirmed at time of booking so we was a little disappointed although room change went smoothly.
Location to village was excellent, ski in ski out! fantastic! hotel and staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel could do with a little touch up in places, steam room and jacuzzi were great but again need a little attention, as with the rooms. Food was first class, we had the half board and could not fault any meal we had. Overall great value for the three stars :) bit of investment could see this hotel reaching 4/5 starts.
Rooms could do a bit of attention & investment.
Lovely comfortable room looking onto the nursery slope, great breakfast with loads of choice. The hotel is ski in and ski out with the ski lockers being adjacent the run. There’s a cosy, relaxing lounge with a log fire and fabulous views of the mountain. The restaurant served delicious local, traditional meals and had a good choice of wines. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and looked after us very well.
Friendly staff, cosy rustic hotel and excellent lication.
The staff was extremely friendly and welcomed us with two upgrades. Thank you
Maybe a bit more vegetables on the breakfast menu
location was great even though there was very little snow
rooms were small but fine for a few days
Loved this hotel! Staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was amazing including organising our taxis, and even offering to drive us back to the hotel if the taxi was not possible. Room was a good size with an amazing balcony and view of the mountains. Ski storage was great and you could ski straight from the hotel which saved a lot of time. The decor was really cute and had the winter wonderland vibe we were wanting. The hamam was amazing and so good that you can book to use it privately- just what we needed after a long day of skiing. Breakfast was great and had everything we needed
Bathroom was a bit unclean around the edges
Staff is lovely and close to the slopes, hammam post ski is a must
Perfect downtown location.Great balcony view.Lovely hot baths area.Good value for money.
Great hotel for a little mountain break. We recommend spending a little more for a balcony
It's a little outdated but I think this is part of the feeling of the hotel
Lovely balcony and dog friendly. Good breakfast
A little tired and everything was closed up before 9pm
Great location on the edge of the slopes. Lovely staff and had everything we needed.
Double room with a balcony was quite compact with a small double bed. Bedrooms sometimes a little cold at night. No direct access to the boot room - needed to go outside and around the hotel.
excellent location. almost on the ski slopes and very near the centre of the village. Very helpful staff, able to make little adjustments around us always friendly and ready to help. perfect for us.
One creaky bed in a room adjacent to us.
The hotel enjoys far-reaching beautiful views, the rooms are very cosy and the staff is super friendly. The breakfast was one tofu and La Clusaz is just a brilliant place for all sorts of mountain activities!
