Great location in the mountains but close to La Clusaz. Amazing view. Exceptional staff. The owners are passionate about their business, the wellbeing of their guests, and willing to share any information about their area.

Fantastic views, lovely peaceful location. Comfortable beds. Swimming pool was great. Helpful staff, good breakfast.
We loved everything about the hotel. While it is not central to Lq Clusaz, it is very convenient for ski-hire, ski-pass and access to the lift. What made our stay particularly special though were the owners, Catherine and Didier. They are exceptionally good hosts. The meals are hearty, plentifully and delicious, and they couldn’t do enough to accommodate our vegetarianism. The hotel is informal and relaxed with a comfy salon to relax and play board games in.
The owbers were absolutely amazing , kind, helpful and always checking if everything was according our needsDinners were a true gastronomic experience , well cooked , with variety and very tastefullIf you could not eat something they always were willing to make a more suitable option for the person (sick, vegetarian etc). Breakfast with everything and very good bread optionsExcellent location for lift / gondole just across the streetCozy and very familiar type space
This is our second time staying at this hotel. The couple who run it know good service. The food is lovely and plenty of it. It is across the road from a ski hire show and if you say you are staying at Borderan you get a 15% discount. The lifts to the slope are across the road. The location is great for skiing
The only thing I would ask for is tea making facilities in the rooms.
lovely owners and staff who were always friendly and helpful. Great food in the evenings (half board) and substantial breakfast choice. if you want a traditional small french hotel experience, come here!
The bathrooms could do with an update.not a criticism of the hotel, but if tyou're staying here, check the times of the buses and TransVal ski lift. We were caught out twice when the ski lift closed early, and the bus back from the town is also quite a chore.
Lovely place in the French Alps. We were so well welcomed and the kids absolutely loved the pool and the sightings.
wonderful family run hotel, amazing food, kind helpful staff.
location a bit out of the way - nowhere to go for a drink etc nearby.
The staff and the food were excellent, so welcoming, always available to help. breakfast is very filling. The location is perfect for intermediate/advance skiers, great for a short break - you can park right outside and the chair lift is literally across the street taking you straight to the main runs of La Clusaz.
The room was neat and cozy but fairly small - fine for a couple but quite snug for two friends sharing. this isn’t a criticism just something for people to be aware of. overall we had a fantastic stay. it is a quiet hotel, great for small groups and couples ?
Location. Nice Staff
No sauna
Excellent food with delicious croissants and crepes every morning. Dinner was always great with large variety of French cuisine. Great location across the road from the Ski Jument ski hire shop and Combe des Jument chairlift and the Transval gondola. The ski bus to town is also closeby. The bedrooms all had excellent mountain views
the decor of the bedrooms were old.
Great location, lovely meals, lovely welcoming staff.
Great location, beautiful view and wonderful hosts!
It’s perfect for families and very close to the ski lifts. However, if you have kids between 3 and 6 and want them to take ski lessons, the hotel is a a bit far away from the ski school. You have to go either by car or take the bus.
Very friendly owner, right opposite cable car. Fabulous food. Good choice for breakfast. Dinner was lovely. Really enjoyed the fondue. Great views from room and dining room.
Bathroom was slightly tired, but functional.
A 20-30 min walk to the centre or short drive. Beautiful location and pool was great
Very cozy hotel for family vacations, very pleasant and useful host, perfect restaurant with good kitchen, very clean and convenient. Recommend for everybody.
