Smelly, not well kept
Great hotel at a reasonable price. Beds were exceptionally comfortable.
A bit more variety at breakfast would be nice, but there was plenty to go around.
Good breakfast and easy access to adjacent hotel with spa and pool facilities.
Location clean and friendly Good breakfast
Rooms a little small in the back rooms
It was clean and beds were comfy. Daily freshen up also appreciated in the room.
Many services were shared next door at the sister hotel. Breakfast was a bit lacking, and coffee machine poor.
Great view
Elevator closed at 21.00 hrs. Just strange .Too many restaurants, inclusive the hotel, not open.
Comfortable, cosy and clean plus well positioned for the town and slopes.
Great breakfast; great room and gear staff with good location
room was good and good shower with comfortable bed
Beds were comfy as were plillows
Room was tiny, barely enough room to mover around with our bags in there. Pool did not feel clean, having to pay an extra 15 euros to use the sauna and steam room. The bar area lacked any atmosphere
Convenient clean modern
Friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Ability to use pool and spa area, as well as restaurant in adjacent hotel Carlina,
The rooms are small and a bit cramped. The walls are a bit thin - we were woken by our neighbours coming in
Breakfast was good and plentiful but nothing was 'cooked' so no bacon or fried eggs or such like. You could boil your own eggs. Each member of staff was polite but not very engaging or informative about such things like the 'free' bus service to the ski lift from the end of the road. There was no 'welcome' and no information on a 'welcome to our hotel' type board. Overall, the greeting and welcome was dismal. You might catch someone at the reception desk but not guarantedd anyone would be present. There were some Spanish speaking staff cleaning the rooms and attending at breakfast. They were much more friendly and customer orientated.
The hotel felt like a hostel where you should just be grateful for a bed and do your own thing. There was a bar but no service and no ambience or atmosphere. No music. The fire not on. No warm welcome 'home'. The lounge was dark and empty as a result. This hotel is about as far out of the centre of town as you can reach in La Clusaz. The hotel does not mention the free bus only 50metres from the door. It is a long walkin boots with skis up or down hill from/to the lift or centre of town. The hotel has a slim wooden ski locker in the basement but no drying facility and only just fit 2 pairs of boots/skis in despite us having a triple room. The room was sold to us as triple. I am pleased there were not 3 of us in there. The room was ok for 2The pool and gym are 30 metres away across the open car park in another building. You pay 15 euros each use. Why? The pool was cold. The jacuzzi, steam and sauna facilities were cold. There was no indication that you, the client, must find the electricity supply and switch each 'hot' device on then wait 15 minutes for it to warm up. Do these hoteliers want to have guests? It could be nice with a little effort from the owners. Look elsewhere.
It was clean and tidy and good facilities
Too hot in all areas of property and disappointed the bar shut so early every night.
Rooms were nicely decorated and really comfortable. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. Great views!
Could have been more choice at breakfast and the bar closed at around 9:30pm so you’re forced to use the bar at the adjacent Hotel Carlina
The room was perfectly adequate for a couple. Very clean, efficient heating in the room and bathroom and comfortable bed. We were at the back of the hotel and it was very quiet, We needed to dry our complete ski kit over night and the heaters were capable of doing so. Breakfast was very good - extensive buffet style with boiled eggs. No porridge or cooked breakfast. But we didn't want that anyway.
The small bar lacked a bit of warmth. But the service was always charming.
V.Good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable room, clean, short walk to the lift.
Excellent accommodation for our family. Lovely big family room. Fantastic breakfast. Close to cente of village
the view and spa facilities is nice
coffee was bad
