It was very very quiet . Too quiet really . Only one other group staying . Needs a little investment

Proximity to the ski lift was fantastic.

Difficult to go anywhere else to eat/drink in evening as the bus stops working late pm and taxis wouldn’t provide service this far up the valley.

It was a comfortable bed and breakfast, the food was great, the beds were soft. And the staff was very accommodating.

It is a little away from everything, but that only matters if you are trying to go to la cluzas.

Fantastic gem of a hotel in stunning surroundings.Arrived 1st week Jan to plenty of snow. 90min taxi transfer from Geneva. Rooms are basic but great - quiet location, comfy beds, hot shower, adjustable radiator, balcony overlooking Etale ski lift. Lovely continental buffet breakfast and evening meals available, fabulous burgers. 2 ski lifts right next to hotel - U'fredy beginners slope and E'tale for intermediates. Ski storage room available. Very reliable bus service outside hotel (bus no.6) to go to La Clusaz town. Ski hire shop 500m walk or 1 stop on the bus. There is an automated kiosk by the bus stop you can collect your pre-booked lift passes.Would highly recommended this family friendly hotel and staff were very helpful.

We liked everything!!! Location and views where Amazing!!! Very warm and friendly welcome!!!Amazing food in the restaurant at night and very good breakfast in the morning!!! Very comfy room with a balcony and mountain views! Best value for money! If we ever come back to the area we will definitely book this place again! We where pretty sad to live after just one night stay! Thank you very much!!!

Location in view of the mountains in quiet location was superb. Restaurants etc nearby in the village, a short driving distance

The single bed was not very confortable. Too narrow with my head a bit lower than my feet and the left side slightly higher than the right hand side

Beautiful scenery outside the hotel. Nice room, clean, nothing to complain about. All OK!

Food excellent Beer very good value

A bit run down generally.

The room itself was clean. The bed sheets and towels were pleasantly soft. We could use the cost free parking and the shuttle bus to La Clusaz is just 100 meters from the hotel. The hotel is also just 100 meters from the L'Etale Ski Lift.

1) The room was too small for 3 people (approx. 14 m2)2) There wasn't any furniture where we can put our dresses and they had to stay in our suitcases3) There wasn't any hairdryer in the room and going out with a wet hair outside was a risky action.4) Our room was facing the road and it looks like the window did not have good noise isolation as we could hear any car movement. Particularly noisy were the snow cleaning machines starting work at 4 am in the night. 5) A water boiling kettle was not available in the room, so we cannot even make a tea for ourselves. A hot tea is a necessity for the winter period. 6) Despite that the L'Etale Ski lift is just next to the hotel, the available ski slopes there (even the blue ones) are very steep.

Very nice rooms, with good beds, and a lovely bathroom with a full size shower. Very good value for the price we paid. Nice staff. Nice little balcony

Breakfast on the second morning wasn’t as good as the one on the first morning

The room was very pleasant, with small balcony under the eves, the ski lift in close proximity. The free ski bus into town, (but this stops very early so you need a car to travel into town for dinner and back) not a walkable as its a steep uphill return

The Photos of the bar and dinning room dont reflect the actual place. it did not feel cosy at all, it felt like they were closing up for the season, and had obviously had many canclations due to the lack of snow, which made us feel not welcome, even the day before we were leaving we were asked what time we would be booking out as the host had a appointment in Annecy, which then promted us to load our gear in the car to get away earlier, and as we did this a staff member emptied a bucket of water over the side of the balcony which hit my wife squarely over her head! long story short we left a day early!Maybe in way of good will they will offer us our last day free???

Location! Location! Location! ski out to the lift & piste is such a perk! Pretty good size room. We slept well overall after daily ski.

We had to change our room after the 1st night. It was a little confusing because we weren’t given the reason. The welcoming is okay but could have been warmer.

Location was perfect, out the door straight onto the lift, very friendly staff, couldn’t do enough to help. One of our friends had a minor accident, at they drove him to the medical centre and waited until he was sorted. Food was excellent. Will 100% be back!

Very friendly staff, fantastic location, clean rooms, great food, hotel on the slopes, chair lift on the doorstep. Free parking.

No real complaints at all, it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

The friendly and helpful staff couldn’t have been nicer. the location right by a lift is also great.

a little walk into town, however, the great food didn’t make us want to go anywhere else.
