    Pros +

    • The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was spot on. Location is unbeatable with the main ski chairlift 100m away and the others just 250m. Right next to the town square, the bar and restaurant are frequented by guest and locals alike. Always handy having the ESF ski guides having their morning coffee and happy to offer advice on the best runs for the day. Food is a very high standard with plent of choices. Bar prices very reasonable for a ski resort. Whole family loved our short (4 night) stay and will definitely be back. Sauna was a bonus. Ski locker room super handy.
    • Location was great.Room was small but that was fine.Nice that there was a restaurant downstairs
    • Perfect location, free parking very useful. Room cosy but fine for a couple of nights. Sauna was nice. Breakfast seemed expensive for continental breakfast. Raclette in the restaurant was delicious.

    Cons -

    • This is a 3* hotel so everything is as expected. Rooms are cozy but we had plenty of room for the two adults and teen daughter.
    • Would have liked a boot drier and seemed unusual not to have 24/7 reception staff. Seemed expensive for reasonably small room.
    • There was no parking at the hotel, it said there was, the nearest parking was always full. I ended up parking the car 10 minutes walk away and had to pay £30 a day for that.

Location was excellent very central. Close to the lifts. Good breakfast and a comfy room. Very clean.

Great staff, good location, food was excellent.

    Room & beds were "snug".

    9BobPosted on: 3-17-2025

Decent room with good balcony, Breakfast good, Dinner excellent with good food and large choice.

The hotel does not have a inviting lounge to site in during the evening, the restaurant / bar is very busy and takes up all the space. TV room in cellar not inviting and is used by staff for meals and rest area.

Good central location. Breakfast was adequate, although the scrambled eggs had often run out and it took a long time for it to be replenished.

No lounge area for guests to sit and relax. Restaurant was not exclusively for hotel guests and was very noisy in the evenings and service was often very slow. Also not a great choice considering the menu was the same every night, which considering we were staying for a one week was not great.

Location great and friendly staff. High quality breakfast and dinner.

Our bathroom was too small and basin impossible to clean your teeth over it. However the bathroom in our kids room was much larger.

Definitely perfectly located on the heart of the town. Rooms are cosy. Good breakfast. I’ve always liked it a lot.

We had 2 nights and as the hotel was having problems they put us up in another hotel nearby for the first night. However we were forced to pack up and asked to move all our things again the following night. This was very disruptive and deeply upsetting as well as time consuming when we were there to ski and the new hotel were clearly not full. We tried to refuse to move but staff of both hotels were intransigent and refused to even contact each other so we were left with no choice but to insist they at least move our repacked luggage. Which they did and we eventually had an apology. Unfortunately we were then told the lift wasn’t working and being on the third floor this wasn’t good. We weren’t even offered any compensation of any kind. A free breakfast would’ve been nice. When I got home I thought I’d left my ski jacket behind. As it is I found it)! But I emailed them to see if they had it and received no contact at all.

Friendly service, good breakfast options, central location, comfortable beds

    Very small shower room/wc

    6JonPosted on: 9-5-2024

breakfast good. Room small and shower room tiny. The hand basin was extremely small with a shelf above it absolutely no use what so ever except for washing hands and even then it was barely big enough. In the UK to have a wet shave of the face we use the basin in the bath room with a mirror above it. This was just not possible in this ensuit. They had tried to cram a ensuite into the room it was silly.

Ensuite shower room the hand basin was tiny with a shelf above it. Evening meal menu very limited choice and the addition of sauces on salads was overly excessive. Nice salads don't require sauces poured over them especially a salad supplied with the local cheeses. It just spoilt the cheese selection. Let the customer decide if they want sauces on the salads.!!

This is just THE BEST place to stay in La Clusaz! Perfect location in the heart of town, great breakfast, nice restaurant for lunch or dinner, also quite nice to sit on the terrace for a beer or glass of wine in late afternoon or early evening.

Would have liked slightly bigger room but this is Europe! We had a balcony and great views from there.

    8DavidPosted on: 7-15-2024

Located in the centre of La Clusaz, which is one of the loveliest places in the French Alps. The staff are very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was very good.

    8AlexandraPosted on: 4-14-2024

The location was excellent, especially for the ski hire shop and bars /restaurants.

The shower leaked all over the floor and the room was rather small and compact.

Lovely small hotel, friendly helpful staff, good location, great breakfast.

    8ChristianPosted on: 2-11-2024

Location in the center of the village / friendliness of the staff / excellent food / clean

Noise coming from the street during the evenings. The hotel furniture is rather old (but this gives a taste of authenticity)

    9SineadPosted on: 2-6-2024

Great location. Lovely staff, especially the bar people who go out of their way to make sure you have fun (great cocktails). But the bar has a very relaxed vibe too. Good breakfast. Comfortable rooms with a good shower.

Rooms are small, but that’s always to be expected from ski hotels.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location in the centre of the village, super convenient to access the ski slopes. lovely restaurant as well!
