- Staff was nice, friendly and professional. The garden, hotel and room were lovely and clean. The swimming pool was great, as well as other facilities, like jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Fridge is available in the room, which was great.
- Pool and restaurant. Nice Bathroom.
Cons -
- No business lounge or studyNo kettle in the roomLow ceiling in the roomPoor sound insulation
- No Café place available to enjoy during the day at the site, considering there was no Café place within the area of Dlouhá Lhota, and sadly no kettle to make tea/coffee in the room. Sport facilities, inc. swimming pool were available from 2pm onwards (not sure whether this changes in different times of the year, visited in October). Wi-Fi connection in my room was so limited, I had to go out of the room and seek connection. Also, if you are looking for a sound-proof place, this might not be for you.
- Would be nice to be able to hook up my computer with the tv.

Pool and restaurant. Nice Bathroom.
Would be nice to be able to hook up my computer with the tv.
Well maintained property, onsite spa, and very nice staff. There are lots of stairs to the top floor of the castle so may not be as convenient for older people or people with disabilities. Overall a very nice experience.
Missing amenities for hotel guests in the spa - specifically towels. No secondary locks for guests inside the room.
Restaurant was very good and food as well.. Parking at property is very large and no fight for place. Pool is quite bigand water warm enough.
Reception is behind closed doors and is difficult to reach if you are checking in. Our room was in second floor (no lift). There are many small rooms build in attic. Walls of these rooms are very thin and there is no quiet and privacy. There is no sign of it in hotel informations. Service of property is on very low level. They offer wellness services, butcouldn't fulfil expectations. Steam bath had to be ordered two hour prior our visit and didn't reach right temperature. We had to cancel it . Staff is partly without experience.
The place exceeded our expectations, photos don't do much justice as it looks way better. Very clean, great helpful stuff, nice nature around the castle, comfortable spacious rooms. Worth it's money. Highly recommend.
No complaints.
Good breakfast in a nice and clean room.
The elevator would be desirable.
nice castle with amazing territory and different facilities, including bbq zone and spa centrum. Breakfast was super, beds are comfy
Room was large and clean, bed was comfortableSet in nice grounds
Breakfast offering was very limited A lot of noise in the hotel late at night from other guests, which was not expected in such a quiet, secluded location‘Shower’ was just a hand held over a bath. Impossible to stand up
Fabulous wellness and great reception service as usually. Beautiful "honeymoon" suite as well as the whole castle building. It was quiet there (just make sure you don´t come when they have a wedding).
It would be great if there was a kettle in the rooms, Otherwise no complaints.
I have nothing but praise for the staff and the hotel. Their english and communications and professionalism from kitchen staff to reception staff, 3 i met, and maintenance when water leak occurred in gardens and when my room electric fused. So good.I was one of a few people staying in the week and so breakfast was not fully laid out, but, that did not matter as everything needed was provided, with no problems or complaints at all. I have many years experience with hotels and in different countries and can really say my 4 day stay was just what I needed and the hotel and restaurant were just right.I did not use the wellness, but its staff were great and it looked great.
This category is a little unfair, as like art, it is very personal. So, I will mention something I think is a generic. The restaurant qualities were great. I think the 'daily' menu, which was actually the same all week, should contain some vegetarian options and a desert rather than a single soup and 3 meat based dishes. I think this will bring into the restaurant not more people form hotel abut also from outside area and reflects the preferences of many young people today. In addition, perhaps another local beer to reflect the local area and cz beers. Otherwise it is great and even had in gents toilets, hair gel and anti perspirant and mints- a lovely touch . Thanks
Beautiful spa, the manor is very nicely renovated, we liked the chateau-style of the hotel.
Thin room walls on the top floor (could even hear the mobile phone buzzing in the room next to us). Heating was rather underperforming and room was rather cold (in January).
View and garden. Layout of access. Restaurant and spa.
Rooms in the attic with no concept in the design. Sharp objects in the bathroom. Not clean bed covers.
Excellent garden.
Mixed feelings: wonderful building, excellent and huge garden with romantic places. No lift, that means 59 steps to the rooms. Breakfast simple hostel quality with only sugary and fatty products. Anything but healthy - not what we expected in a “wellness spa”. Another bad surprise when we left: extra charge of 11€ per day per person for sauna and jacuzzi despite we were told at the arrival that two hours were free (free was only the pool with cool water). No further sign or information about these extra charges. The receptionist told us that most guests are surprised about such unexpected costs. The money is not the point, the point is that one feels tricked. Unfortunately, this is the last impression when one leaves.
Hotel Panství Dlouhá Lhota is a stunning 16th century baroc castle and the building and its surrounding gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, from the receptionist to the restaurant staff, cooks and breakfast staff. It's an ideal place if you are looking for a quiet place to spend a wellness weekend. The wellness was nice, clean and staff was smiley and very pleasant. We enjoyed absolutely delicious Pork Pluma Iberico with confit grenaille potatoes, wild broccoli and baked garlic sauce in the restaurant "Konirna".
We didn't stay in the main building but in the modern outbuilding, our room was huge but unfortunately there were stairs to get to the rooms and we travelled with a baby and had to carry up and down a heavy pram. Our bed was massive but squeaked with every single move, even with the tiniest move it made horrid creaky sound and it was disturbing each night for us and the baby. The shower was disappointing as it wasn't powerful enough and it wasn't easy to get the right temperature. The breakfast was acceptable, average, and was served in the main castle - on the 2nd floor - so again we had to carry the baby's buggy up and down. I would not recommend this place for families with small kids/babies. The restaurant's menu is quite limited and we were told on the night that 3 (!) meals were not available which was disappointing.
Very good
Bed
Nice and comfortable room
Facilities closed
The hotel looks much better than on photos. We were pleasantly surprised.
The only downside I see is that maybe a little confusing is the pricing, which asks for 280 CZK per person. which is quite a lot percentage wise on top of the night price.
facilities and staff
The room was bot the tidiest - bathroom especially.
Very nice room and the castle itself.
Horrible, horrible stuff! Would NEVER come again because of this experience!
