Hotel Prélude

Well situated if you are visiting this area of Belgium as we did. Very clean, simple, practical and comfortable rooms. Delicious and abundant breakfast served in their nice dining area. Host was kind and very helpful to us. We highly recommend.

Parking was a little tricky when full house but still works fine.

Super clean and comfortable. Room darkening drapes with amazing air conditioning provided a lovely night's rest. Staff was cordial. Hotel was quiet. Convenient location. Stayed here between Bruges and Ghent. A+++ rating

The bed was two twins and they kept separating. A king sheet to hold them together would of helped. Overall the stay was well worth it and this was only a minor flaw and more of a suggestion.

Very clean and comfortable room. Nice shower. Quieter than we expected (we were in a room further from the main road). Quiet, polite owner. Excellent breakfast! Well-located for access to Bruges, Ghent and Brussels.

Parking a bit tight, but ok because the hotel wasn't full when we were there. A bit difficult to access from the main road (busy, divided road). You can't cross straight into it (must du a U-turn further on), and you have to pay attention exiting (very busy road). We forgot to be precise about our arrival time, so waited a little.

The hotel was very clean, breakfast was absolutely great. Very polite host. All in all one of the best experiences we've had in all of our road trips.

Breakfast was good- the host kept an eye at all times and replenished as needed. Fresh fried and scrambled eggs. The family room was a good size and was cleaned everyday.

The curtains were quite short so the room stayed bright. Some longer curtains or blackout blinds would have been useful. Some new pillows would be a welcome addition.

It was in a small cute village and the facilities were clean. My room was cleaned and the bed was made every day.

Delicious and plentiful breakfast in the morning was freshly prepared. There is free parking around the house

Rooms are damp, interior worn, paint peeling off ceiling and walls, spiders crawling in bathroom.

The breakfast was great! Fresh eggs and bacon! Warm pastries! As well as the usual cold cuts and bread.

Staff is very nice. The breakfast was very good.

The hotel needs new painting, I noticed also mold in the hallway. The bed sheets are not comfortable.

The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The host was helpful and willing to provide additional coffee cups as needed. Ample parking space. Idyllic place with places to walk around. The biggest plus point is that it is easily accessible to both Ghent and Bruges.

They had provided a hot water kettle in one of the rooms and would have been great if our second room also had it. Maybe he would have given if I had asked. So, its really not a big issue. Also, pls do mention in your hotel facilities that you provide a hot water kettle - it is a plus point for the amenities in your rooms.

Spacious and clean rooms with all the essentials. Great breakfast and a very pleasant stay overall

The room was spotless and the bathroom had a full size tub to soak a weary body. There is a sitting area and a bar. The staff spoke broken English and we could communicate fine. The breakfast was splendid with eggs especially made for you.

The AC wouldn’t turn on so had to open window, pillows were soft and only got one, no blankets just an all in one comforter with a sheet surrounding it

It feels like a family-run small roadside hotel, cosy and friendly. The big family room is very spacious and has a bathtub. Great breakfast included. Nice restaurants a short drive away.

The parking is space is a bit crowded but that's very minor nuisance.

The room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was excellent with a great variety including eggs. We were there for New Year and chocolates and champagne were on the breakfast menu. ?? Thank you Marcel and Olga.

-Perfect location, very close to all touristic destinations in North Belgium.-Big and cosy room.-It had everyhting.-Very helpful and nice owner, he was everywhere.-Free parking.-Nice breakfast.-If I visit Belgium again I will visit for sure this hotel again.

-Only some minor things that are not important, like lighting in the room or the heating that needed some time to heat the room (air condition).-Personally I had no problem, but I feel that if the hotel is fully booked, the parking place will not be enough or the parking procedure will become difficult because the space is limited. But the owner is here again to fix every problem!

Nice helpful staff, bicycle storage, nice clean room and a super breakfast

The room was clean and spacious, breakfast was good and well furnished. Cold beers and coffee also available in the room.
