Hotel Löwen

Pros +

• Nice rooms, friendly staff and great food in the restaurant. The hotel is very handy if you want to take train into Freiburg as the nearest station is only a 2 minute walk away. The trains don't run all night, so you get a good night's sleep
• Simple but clean and cozy, and accommodated us well for our purpose, which was an overnight stay near the Ravenna Gorge Christmas market. There's an S-bahn train line just a couple min walk from the hotel which takes you to the shuttle pickup point, although it doesn't run often, so check the times in advance if you're planning to use that. Free parking on site. The room was spacious enough and provided what we needed for a short stay. European style breakfast is included, which is nice.

Cons -

• There was no heating in our bathroom
• The bed was not the most comfortable ever, but not too bad. Otherwise the room and furnishings were good.
