clean, location, friendly staff, large room

Excellent location close to the train station and the ski bus, authentic atmosphere, friendly staff, great onsite restaurant for breakfast and dinner, spacious rooms... We would be happy to come back!

Nice hotel, breakfast, staff and location very good.

Bathroom need renovation, doors of shower didnt close properly, the water in the sower was warm and not hot...and you should wait 5 minutes to get warmer...and hole bathroom very old.. bathroom faucets, shower etc.

Really good find in rather gloomy town out of ski season. Friendly owners and an excellent breakfast plus easy parking.

We really enjoyed our stay. Asked for a room with a balcony and got as requested. Room was sparkling clean and comfortable. The hosts were just lovely from the booking till check out.

The beds were a bit hard.

Fantastic value for money at this very personable hotel. The staff/owners went out of the their way to help us with various requests due to travelling with a baby. For example, the owner lent me his grandchildren's snow-slide so that I could take my baby girl out in the snow. The six of us (including baby) shared a family room and that worked really well.

It would be great if they could open the breakfast at 7.30 AM or at least 7.45 AM. That way it would be possible to be by the lifts when they open at 8.30 AM and still have time for breakfast before.

I liked everything. Big, spacious room, rich and varied breakfast, kind staff and attentive to any detail or wish.

Hotel on a busy road, but quiet nevertheless if you ask for a room at the back.

The room was difficult to cool. A little too hot to sleep.

The location is great, frequent buses (every 15 minutes) to Kitzski lift and hourly buses to Brixen im Thale, where you can get a lift to SkiWelt area (a short cab ride as well). The hotel is clean, comfortable, staff is amazing, especially the bald guy in the restaurant area (he told us to mention him like this:). We booked a 14 people dinner at the hotel, it was tasty, not expensive and super fun.

The hotel is located on a noisy street, you hear people getting back home after apres ski drinks around 1am

great location across from the ski bus stop (also quick and easy bus ride to Kitzbuhel) and central to town. easily flat walk from train station.Beautiful cosy hotel, good breakfast, delicious evening meals, lovely owners Julia and Andy (the head chef) and his parents Anne and Christoph who owned and ran it before them and still help out with breakfast and at other times.

People working there are very kind

We had a great stay, the only minor improvement for the hotel would to be start breakfast a touch earlier. Starting at 8 meant that we had to rush to make the first ski lifts.

Location central to everything. Cracking bars and restaurants just outside the door.Breakfast was lovely. Room was very comfortable and tidy.

Didn’t see much staff about, only in the mornings. Information could also be written in English in the information packs in the room.

The Daxer is a fantastic family operated business with a terrific location and useful onsite parking. Easy bus transportation to and from the slopes, the bus conveniently picks up just outside their business. The rooms are well kept and well thought out. The Daxer puts on a spectacular morning breakfast with their perfect soft boiled eggs, as well as their homemade bread and jams. At night dine at their in house restaurant where the son is their executive chef cooking up traditional Austrian dishes.  The Swerger family out do themselves with their hospitality, they make you feel welcomed and at home.
