Hotel Machalas

So beautifully appointed. It came as a surprise! Host Mike kindly opened up the taverna to feed us dinner! A good buffet breakfast with almost everything homemade. And ohhhh a fancy coffee machine!!

Would be helpful to have signage and also where to check in.

It's an amazing country hotel large small apartments the owner Dan has a close by excellent food tavern the rooms are big towels are switched daily

We loved the location, decor, and ambiance of this jewel in the mountains. It’s an excellent spot to see several bridges within walking distance and to use as a base for driving to see other towns and bridges. The owners are lovely people who also have a restaurant across the street that offers dishes from the area. It will remain one of our fondest memories of Greece.

large comfortable room, mini-kitchen with a coffee machine was great. Room keeping was good, bedding and towels frequently changed. breakfast was very nice, not many options but everything was fresh and delicious.

The property is picturesque and accessible to the hiking we did. Our room had a wood burning fireplace which would make us consider coming in the winter. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Big room, build and decorated with style. Very comfortable, the mattress is one of the best I had in all hotels. The linens and towels were new and best quality. Tasty breakfast with traditional food. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We felt very good there. Location it perfect to travel in Zagoria.

Stay in a dream! A large, well-kept and beautiful garden with lots of seating and magical stone houses. The rooms are in an ancient style with wood and lots of space. The perfect accommodation for families because there is a playground for children and lots of grass and space. The hosts are pleasant and welcoming, giving you a feeling of home. A beautiful village to walk through and in the evening sit in the tavern across the road. The breakfast is wonderful and luxurious. A place that is healing for the soul and opens the heart. The best value for money ever. Highly recommended!

The property located right at the beginning of the loop trail along the famous bridges of Zagori. Authentic design, perfect cleanliness, comfortable bed, small good equipped kitchen, self controlled fast heating, hot water any time. Great tavern just across the street. Good breakfast. The hotel is charming and beautiful and is situated in a great location. The host was very welcoming, and the breakfast was generous and delicious.Be sure not to miss a meal at Machalas' taverna just across the road - the food is excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful!Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the unique charm of the place.

It's worth noting that the building is quite old, which we found as something that adds to its character. The beds were not particularly comfortable.

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel with our 3 yrs old son. Everything was great. Owners were so helpful and kind. Room is quite big and comfortable. They have a restaurant just opposite of the hotel which was great too.. highly recommended...

The room was very comfortable and well-decorated. The breakfast was great. The hotel is in a very beautiful, picturesque village close to the attraction points in the area. The owners were very friendly and very kind to help us with the last minute changes in our booking.

The place is great for families. Spatious and very clean rooms with all a family needs. There was a small playground at the side of our room. Very good breakfast. The location is great to explore the surroundings.

The room was very spacious and comfortable, but most of all, the bathtub with massage options made us so happy after a long and hard hike.I can highly recommend this place! The breakfast was a great buffet and the staff very friendly!

This is a great place to stay in order to visit the whole Zagori region, being an hour from Papingo and slightly less to the Beloi viewpoint. The owners are very friendly and also own the restaurant over the road, which saves you from having to drive anywhere. Breakfast is good and the apartment is equipped with most things needed for a short stay.

Not any fault of the property, but Kipi is not as photogenic as other villages in the region.

Everything about the property was more than top notch! The quaintness of the little village and the stone houses was such a special treat!The rooms were so clean and welcoming!
