Pros +
- Right in the heart of nature, no stress, everything was easygoing.
- * Space in the room and the layout - excellent for the family with children.* Jaqousi in the suite - the kids enjoyed it.* Food in the restaurant - big choice and delicious.* Friendly staff.
- Nice pools. Clean and cosy rooms. Friendly staff
Cons -
- The restaurant is overpriced (compared to the quality of service and of food served).
- * Soundproof of the best room in the hotel is poor - we heard everyone going in the corridor, especially early in the morning.* No drinking water provided in the suite and no fruits as it is shown on the booking picture advertised.* No AC in the room - we had to keep the windows open, but they had no mosquito nets on them.* No bath robes and pool towels in the room upon arrival - you have to go to another end of the hotel to pick it up. Good, my husband went. He brought two huge and heavy bags of the robes and towels for the whole family - i would not have managed to bring it all myself.* The fancy furniture in the lounge happened to be sharp and dangerous - my new pants were damaged.

We ordered a 2 bed twin room , 20m², terrace. On the first attempt we got a room with a double bed, but we refused. We could not enter the second room for more than 2 hours - we waited from 21:00 to 22:50, the room was without terrace and significantly smaller area. No compensation was given for the inconvenience and the failure to provide the ordered service.

Availability of warm pools outside
I stayed at Kehida Termál Resort & Spa in Jan, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected for a 4-star hotel.Cleanliness and Room Condition:The quality of cleaning was extremely poor. The rooms were dusty, and I even found cobwebs in the corners. The rooms are outdated, with visible stains on the ceiling from leaks. The plumbing was almost entirely non-functional—especially the shower, which barely worked.Facilities and Amenities:On the day of check-out (Monday), the hotel cut off hot water and heating, leaving guests without basic comfort. Additionally, half of the spa area was closed, significantly limiting the advertised experience. Moreover, the spa is essentially a public bathhouse with unlimited access for outside visitors. This means hotel guests have to compete for space in the pools, making the area overcrowded and uncomfortable. It seems the hotel prioritizes maximizing profit over providing a relaxing environment for its paying guests.Dining Experience:The breakfast and dinner options were extremely limited and did not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel—more like 2 stars. Drinks were not included and had to be paid for separately.Room Service Issues:I attempted to order room service, which the hotel claims to provide. However, after calling reception, I was told that I would need to pick up my order myself from the front desk—not exactly what one expects from a proper room service experience.Overall Impression:The overall experience was negative. The poor condition of the rooms, lack of proper facilities, and overcrowded spa area make this hotel far from a relaxing retreat. The price does not match the level of service or amenities offered.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine 4-star spa experience.
Pools, spa, sulfur pool
Short stay
I like the pools, they were good for young kids because they are not deep.
Yhe apartment didn't had AC unit and the temperature was too high that thay so we couldn't sleep. For the price of a 2 day stay in the apartment they could buy AC units and make the stay waaaay better... because of this I will have to cancel my reservation with them for next month.
Ideal for a stay with children, free access to swimming pools and spa. A short walk from the Balaton. Very good breakfast. On the day of departure free entry also applies.
The showers in the spa building were partially non-functional, it would need to be repaired.
Everything is in one place. Wellness, spa, relaxation, restaurant....Pleasent environment and friendly staff.
- No free mineral water in the room.- Not all rooms of restaurant are air conditioned.
The different pools, spa areas, sulfur pools, jacuzzis
Ants/termites in the house
Great termal resort, clean pool and sauna
Very friendly staff and very nicely arranged thermal area (pools, saunas, fitness). Even on colder days, it is possible to swim outside. The food is very good, for vegans the offer is more modest, but everyone can find something for themselves.
The furnishings of the rooms that are not part of the hotel are more modest, but still satisfactory, despite the fact that some parts of the furniture were damaged (the garden table was broken, the door in the wardrobe was broken). What is wrong is the extremely poor Wi-Fi connectivity (most of the time it doesn't work). We also expected more frequent cleaning of the room - in 4 days they emptied the bin only once, and they didn't even change the towels. When reserving a room on Booking, the location of the room (in the hotel or in external complexes) is visible only after confirmation of the reservation and payment, which is bad because then you can no longer change your choice. On colder days, it is much more convenient to stay in the hotel part than in the outdoor facilities, which are approximately 150 m away.
overall breakfast offered good variety, most mornings we had options of hot and cold, good service and personal attitude, choice of children's menu, nice bakery items, good selection of juices,
limited type of tea like mint was not available at the breakfast, and some of the eggs were cold,
Location is very nice. Breakfast was also good.
Rooms were not clean and not up for the value. Definetely would not pick again.
The pool was quite big, and the dinner, breakfast was included.
The bed was too small that it was impossible to fit in more than one person in the bed. The pool was not really clean. For the meal, the food was running out, so everyone was grabbing it before anyone else take it.
Amazing pools and therme, variety of pools and saunas, good value foe money, professional sauna lady who made a show ?
All was good
The pools and the food was great.
We thought we will be staying in the main facility, but we got a room in one of the side buildings. Furniture from the eighties the room mini bar was empty also it was 150 meters from the spa. we had to dress up in winter clothing to go to the main building.
It was a nice place suggested by my family. The convenience of wellness and hotel in one place is very good.
As I mentioned it is a nice hotel with the opportunity to go to the wellness area immediately from the hotel. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 my invited family was unable to join us. Fortunately, the kids were able to replace them and join us for one day. I discussed this with the hotel and they assured me that it is no problem and reserved the requested room close by. However, after we occupied the room and the next day, I was told that the room nearby we reserved for my family was sold and they must be in a room located far from us. I was very dissatisfied since they did not ask me if it is ok if they move them to that room far away. Also, in such cases when they had an emergency movement to another room such as to my reserved room, they should temporarily move the guest and return the room to us. Nevertheless, the reception desk personnel tried to compensate us for the issue and invited us for a bottle of champagne. It was a nice gesture but it was not able to compensate for the inconvenience we experienced.
the warm watergood and varied foodenough space, therefore not crowded
the bed is very hardone can hear the neighbors
Not a good experience
The pools are not clean, the food is cheap and not good. The pictures don’t show the reality of this spa.It didn’t justify the money spent for staying at this place. The only thing that was the same as the pictures is the room.
