About

Tranquil eco-friendly retreat in Halkidiki Nestled among secluded gardens dotted with olive and fruit trees, and constructed exclusively with stone and wood from the local area, this peaceful, eco-friendly hideaway on the Kassandra peninsula blends seamlessly into its surroundings. From refreshing dips in the outdoor pool to yoga sessions and revitalizing spa treatments, it’s an environment custom-made for relaxation. With an abundance of space to play, as well as a treehouse and a petting zoo, children will also be in their element here. Movie nights at the open air cinema are also not to be missed. Fancy a trip to the beach? The hotel has its own area down at Afitos Beach, around a mile away, where you can sunbathe on the pristine, golden sand, or cool off in the crystal clear water of the Aegean Sea. There’s no better way to start your mornings than by ordering a traditional Greek breakfast basket (for an additional supplement) to your room, filled with freshly baked bread, homemade jams, fruit grown on-site, and delicious pastries. If you feel like dining in later on as well, the poolside bar and bistro is a perfect spot for a light lunch or a romantic dinner, or just a quiet drink or two. Private dining is also available, as well as wine tasting sessions and cooking lessons, giving you a unique insight into local culinary traditions. The rooms, suites and maisonettes are very much in keeping with the homely vibe and rustic-chic ambiance of the surrounding gardens and communal areas, featuring elegant furnishings, timber-beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. Greek getaways don’t come much more authentic than this.

This place balances comfort and sustainability in a way that feels effortless. I loved the organic touches everywhere — the local greenery, the stone accents, and the calm ambience. Will return for sure!

This place is beautiful from every angle—gardens, stone buildings, views of the sea and mountains. But what makes it special is the people. Every member of staff greeted us with a smile and helpful tips.

Our room was spotless , and still felt homey and cozy. We especially liked the mosquito screens and the shaded patio area where we sipped wine at the evening. The attention to detail in the design and upkeep was obvious everywhere—from the tidy gardens to the well-kept pool.

While the property feels secluded, it’s actually only a short drive from the beach, restaurants, and little shops. So we got the best of both worlds: peace and quiet at night, and beach fun during the day.

Given the level of service, the beautiful surroundings, and the unique experience, we were amazed at the value. We've stayed at places that cost more and delivered much less. Here, breakfast was included, rooms were large and comfortable, and the amenities like the pool and activities were all top-notch. You can tell it’s a labor of love, not just a business. Definitely worth every euro, and more. We left feeling rested and spoiled.

The private beach was a huge bonus—it’s not on the property, but there’s a free shuttle and it’s absolutely worth it. Peaceful, clean, with sunbeds and cold drinks delivered right to you. Loved the contrast: nature and stone in the village, sea breeze and cocktails at the beach. A complete experience.

I didn’t expect such a pleasant experience at this price range. The rooms were cozy, the service was prompt, and everything worked smoothly. It’s clear this place offers value for money.

    10JulienPosted on: 5-31-2025

The way the property combines traditional architecture with modern comfort is impressive. Our room had thick stone walls, wooden ceilings, and a fireplace—but also reliable WiFi, a smart TV, and excellent air conditioning. The design respects the past without sacrificing convenience. We loved that we could stay somewhere with a real sense of place, not just another generic resort. Every corner seemed like it had a story. It’s clear the owners care deeply about maintaining authenticity.

    10HarperPosted on: 5-31-2025

Tucked away among olive trees and stone walls, this peaceful retreat offered the kind of silence we didn’t know we needed. The rustic charm was authentic, and the gardens were immaculately kept. We truly felt reconnected with nature. The staff treated us like family and always had a smile and helpful suggestions. We especially appreciated the sustainable touches, like natural toiletries and recycling bins in the rooms. If you're looking for a quiet place to reset, this is a treasure.

    10KristínaPosted on: 5-31-2025

The whole place had a calming energy. Clean, quiet, and stylish. The people were incredibly polite and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping guests.

    10MiaPosted on: 5-30-2025

Traveling with two toddlers can be stressful, but this place made it easy. Fenced areas, soft grass, and lots of space to play safely. Very reassuring for parents.

    10RékaPosted on: 5-30-2025

From the first moment we walked into our room, it was clear that cleanliness was a priority here. Not just tidy—spotless. Fresh sheets with a lovely scent, gleaming bathroom tiles, and zero dust or cobwebs in sight. Even the outdoor spaces were perfectly maintained. The room itself had everything we needed, with thoughtful extras like slippers, a kettle, and mosquito nets. We felt extremely comfortable and safe, especially during these times when hygiene matters more than ever.

    10HugoPosted on: 5-29-2025

The design inside our room was tasteful—stone walls, soft lighting, and wood accents. It felt like staying in a boutique version of a mountain village house.

    10ElenaPosted on: 5-28-2025

They serve local wines at the bar, and one night we enjoyed a glass under the olive trees. The flavors were rich and earthy, and the setting made it taste even better.

    10AntoinePosted on: 5-27-2025

No noise, no stress, just nature and fresh air. We turned off our phones and read books by the pool. It was the reset we didn’t know we needed.

    10MarekPosted on: 5-27-2025

Even though it’s tucked away in nature, we were just a short drive from the center of Afytos. Perfect balance of peace and proximity. We even walked it once!

    10MihaiPosted on: 10-17-2024

The quiet atmosphere and proximity to beaches were perfect. Whether lounging by the pool or strolling through the lush gardens, relaxation is guaranteed. Highly recommended for a safe harbour.
