    Pros +

    • Fantastic ocean view room with a wonderful staff.
    • We had a truly wonderful holiday at the Olympion Sunset Hotel. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, which made it perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The sea is breathtaking — turquoise, crystal-clear, and simply inviting. Our room was spacious, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need. What really made the stay special was the staff — so polite, attentive, and always ready to help, we can’t thank them enough. The food didn’t come with a huge variety, but everything we tasted was fresh and absolutely delicious. We would happily return — highly recommended!
    • Restoraunt. It is not outstanding, but it is good and high-quality. At least in this village, it is probably the most decent one. I would rate the breakfasts very highly. The pool is a decent size (and, importantly, there is also a children's zone). As for the beach, due to the hotel's location, only guests swim here, which means there are noticeably fewer people in the sea than on the public beach nearby.

    Cons -

    • The baby crib was not in the best condition, as it had some visible stains, and the daily cleaning, while satisfactory, could be improved.
    • Well, only the restaurant could claim to be a 4 or 5-star establishment. The hotel itself gives the impression of being a 3-star hotel trying to pass itself off as a 5-star hotel. It all starts with the arrival and parking, which is extremely cramped and lacks space. The rooms are quite outdated and not so cozy. The hotel grounds are very small. But the strangest thing is, of course, the competition for sun loungers, which you have to reserve early in the morning (and some guests leave their belongings there overnight to keep their spots). As a result, many sun loungers are empty for most of the day, being “occupied” by guests' towels, who are themselves absent at that time. If you like to sleep in, you can only count on a sun lounger on the edge of the beach. The sand on the beach is not very good for the Chalkidiki region. The beach itself is acceptable, but not outstanding. And it is quite narrow. As for the terraces of the rooms, there is no particular privacy there. I also did not really like the village where the hotel is located, which is inferior to many other resorts on the peninsula.
    • Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was difficult to climb the stairs with our dog

Very good breakfast, beach in front of our room, staff

    Almost everything

Half board is the only option available. The prices for lunch and drinnks within the resort are twice as high as in the nearby restaurants.

I loved the location, perfect for families, the room was close to the beach and the pool (we did not use the pool much though as we prefer the beach). The balcony was spacious, breakfast was good and not crowded, the employees at the hotel were awesome, even helped us find a place to fix our car issue, so awesome service all around. The beach is perfect and was never crowded even though we were the re at the peak of season. We will for sure will be back again.

I don't have anything to add here as we loved our stay.

Everything was nice. The food was tasty, the staff was extremely polite and nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel is right on the beach and it's not too crowded.

Olympion Sunset Halkidiki is a good option for sunset lovers and beach‑front relaxation. Nestled right on Fourka Beach, Warm, friendly staff is always polite, smiling, and eager to help.Comfortable rooms have spacious balconies overlooking sea or pool. With sun loungers on the sandy beach and easy pool access, it’s a perfect recipe for a relaxed vacation for especially families with children.

There can be room for improvement room ammenities like coffee machine and welcome drink as a bottle of water.

The location is great, close to Thessaloniki and with a private beach nearby. The room was cleaned every day, and the view from our room was beautiful.

The beach staff were quite rude. There weren’t enough beach beds for all guests, so we had to wake up every day at 7 am to get one. One day they even removed our towels from the bed we had reserved and gave it to another guest, leaving us without any place.Although the hotel claims to be pet-friendly, we had to pay a high fee of €15 per day for our dog, and pets were not allowed even on the terrace of the restaurant, which made things difficult.

Great beach front view. Spacious with spectacular view.

Small beach, but its not so problem as the hotel is small.

    10SimonPosted on: 9-28-2024

The location, the beach, the bar on the beach. It is a really nice hotel, we stayed 6 nights and fell not enough. Everyone was very friendly and the sunset from the beach bar with a beer or ice coffee was amazing. My daughter love that they could move from the beach to the pool without need to cross any road and we feel very secure to leave them by then self.

We took half board, the breakfast was fine, however the dinner was a bit boring and disappointed. I strongly recommend to go to the small village from the hotel for dinner and enjoy real Greek food.

The outside of the building was good and the stuff was helpful. The view from the balcony compensating a lot of the downsides.

The interior is old and outdated, not by far what you imagine about a 5*. The food is like at public canteen.

    8StefanPosted on: 9-23-2024

Amazing staff, right on the beach, food is nice, bar is amazing...

We paid extra for a room on the second floor, no elevator and a bit rundown bathroom, also no cover over terrace which seemed odd...Beach itself could be taken care of in a more detailed way.

    8GalabaPosted on: 9-17-2024

Very good location, the beach was in the yard of the hotel. The beach was small, not crowded, not suddenly deep, warm water, perfect for parents with small kids ?. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was very pleasant and peaceful. The beach bar was playing relaxing music, the cats in the bar added to to pleasant experience.

The hotel is not a five-star hotel as presented on booking. Not good value for money in this regards. There was missing coffee/tea set in the room, as it should have as a five-star hotel. The furniture, the bathroom need renovation. There is not actually a parking place, so you park the car infront of the entrance of the hotel if you have luck and free space. The food at the restaurant at the roof was lacking diversity in taste and more diary free options. The prices at the beach bar restaurant were quite expensive for what was offered. Only filter coffee in termos was served at breakfast and the taste was not good, as five-star hotel you should have more options, not only filter coffee.
