Pros +
- The most horrible stay of our 7 weeks traveling around Europe.
- I loved the design and the location.
- Very good localisation - close to train station and promenade with beach.Comfortable showerKinda nice view to the gardenThe bed was big and I had a good sleep
Cons -
- We were told there would be parking available near the hotel. The closest parking was 1.4 kilometers away. My wife has COPD and I have a pacemaker, which is why we asked this question when booking the hotel. The parking also cost 37 Euros for less than 24 hours. Based on all of this we cancelled our next two days stay and the staff promised the manager would contact us about a refund for the two days we did not stay at the hotel. We were never contacted and have never received a refund.
- We were disappointed that the bar didn’t offer its full range of drinks and that the garden wasn’t organised and clean. Even if the design was really inviting the sunbeds and the outdoor lounge furniture looked quite dirty and this prevented us from enjoying time spent in the garden. It felt as if a lot was invested in the design a few years ago but not into maintenance recently. The breakfast could offer more choice in bread, ham, cheese, eggs and vegetables.
- I didn't feel comfortable with one of the receptionists. The girl was very nice and helpful, while the guy seemed kind of impolite.Really small roomsEven though the garden area was empty, there was loud, unenjoyable music playing - and i heard it through closed windows.

Cool design, peaceful, GM very present, lovely check in, relaxed atmosphere in quietish Easter season. Nice big bed with good linen and view of the pool.
Breakfast and daily cleaning both absolutely fine but basic.
Not too crowded, lovely little garden, friendly staff, eco-friendly cleaning service.
returned from a truly wonderful weekend stay at Hotel Le Sud in Antibes, and I couldn’t recommend it more! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel instantly at home. The hotel effortlessly blends Mediterranean charm with modern elegance, creating an atmosphere that is both stylish and inviting. The Rooms: Beautifully designed with a chic, coastal aesthetic, my room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a serene ambiance perfect for unwinding. The attention to detail, from the plush bedding to the high-quality amenities, made my stay extra comfortable. Plus, the balcony offered stunning views—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or a sunset drink. The Service: The staff at Hotel Le Sud went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my stay was perfect. They were incredibly attentive, providing great recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems around Antibes. Their warm, personalized service truly made a difference. The Location: Situated in a prime spot, the hotel is just a short stroll away from the beach, charming boutiques, and some of the best dining spots in town. It’s the ideal base for exploring the beauty of the French Riviera. The Ambiance: The entire property exudes a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe, with beautifully curated interiors, lush gardens, and cozy common spaces that make you want to linger just a little longer.I can’t wait to return to Hotel Le Sud—it’s a hidden gem that perfectly captures the essence of Antibes. If you’re looking for a stylish, welcoming, and perfectly located hotel for a Riviera getaway, this is the place to be!
Loved all the personal touches, note in your room, pastries at reception etc.The staff were friendly and good breakfast. really liked the different breads they offered.
Off street parking wasn't easy. The hotel is nicely decorated but you can see it needs a bit of updating. would definitely stay again though
The hotel is perfectly located, clean and very welcoming. The female member of staff that was working from the 11th to 14th October was was absolutely exceptional. She was very welcoming and helpful throughout our staff. Shame she wasn’t on duty when we checked out on the Monday.
Fantastic hospitality and great breakfast, with comfy beds. Understated hotel, but has everything you need and all amenities were very high quality. Receptionist and staff were friendly. Easily accessible location.
Quite a few mosquitoes in the pool area in September - not the hotel’s fault, but a small bit of insect repellent or a citronella candle wouldn’t have gone unmissed!
It’s just an old hotel with a bohemian theme…
The room smelled like mold and sewage. Not like the pictures.
The hotel pool and outdoor area is stunning and a beautiful place to relax in the evening. The town is close enough but still set away so that you feel free from all of the crowds.
The rooms here were much smaller than we anticipated. That being said they were very clean and tidy.
Excellent location close to the sea side and nice bars/restaurants.There was water for free in the room and you could refill it in the bar also for free.
The breakfast did not have great variety. For example, there was no milk to eat! Also, only filter coffee was served, and if you wanted espresso or cappuccino, there was an extra cost! However, the price for breakfast was approx 19 euros per person. The hotel had a bad smell in the lobby. Something like mold.
The hotel was situated quite central, I would rather recommend though to stay in Antibes or more south of the Cap.
The pictures showed on the website suggest the rooms to be bigger. The bathroom had a problem with its sinks, it was always smelly and also a bit of mould in the shower. The room was really small and no minibar, little space in the cupboard and very soft mattresses. The breakfast was of medium quality. Especially ham and cheese was low quality.
Pool and brakfest area were nice. Staff was great and made our stay more pleasant.
Odd moldy smell at arrival! Mold in the rooms, which was unpleasant.
The hotel is in a great location, it’s clean and we were big fans of the decor.
Unfortunately the hotel is next to a building site currently. We were given rooms on the building site side of the hotel which was very loud when you had the windows open but with the window closed it was unnoticeable, and they didn’t work weekends.
The pool and bar area is really nice. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. The location is good, close to the beach at Juan les pins and an easy walk to Cap d’Antibes and Antibes old town.
Good location.
Overcharged and General Manager won’t resolve the issue.
Excellent location and very pleasant stay
The nearby building works.More information needed about breakfast choices or activities. Only discovered on the last day that eggs are available at breakfast (but the toaster was broken so this could be scrambled on toast).
The location was great and staff were really friendly. It is very close to the beach with plenty of shops to peruse and beach clubs and 25 min walk from Antibes Old Town.
Really tiny room, which I don't usually mind but there was not even anywhere to put our suitcase, and we shared a suitcase between two people, so definitely too small if you have a large suitcase each.
The location was okay
We have booked the room at least 5 months in advance and mentioning that we will be coming after our wedding. No consideration has been made when making a booking, we have been given an average room with a view on a construction site and the railway. When we asked the receptionist to move us to another room, she just said it’s fully booked. And again, the booking has been made 5 months ago prior.
