Pros +
- I read mixed reviews and we usually stay at the 4 seasons or Reserve de Beaulieu which is double the price. I think it's reasonable for the area/quality. The beach is fantastic and so is the restaurant/bar. I think most of the people complaining can't afford to stay or eat there. The hotel is charming. We were there with our 2 kids and is was perfect that they would play on the beach the whole day.
- This was our fifth stay here. Obviously it’s nice hotel and has really good vibes. There are some small minor things which I think they can improve on such as at least leave a bottle of water every day for us in the room. There were some oranges in the room and one of them was rotting .. At least look at the fruits and replace the ones which are going over ripe. Our room was non sea facing so can be noisy with the traffic on the road. Otherwise the service was good and hotel was good. Also the bar needs to keep some proper big ice cubes for making cocktails. Small ice cubes are a bit dated in my view for making cocktails
- One bad moment. On the last day I had lunch at the Juana where I ate the prawns and I gotFood poisoning. I had an awful return journey to Scotland.
Cons -
- Rooms on the small side.
- group hotel. Very noisy. Don’t care about non group clients. Party noise until 4pm. Security refused to stop it m

The hotel staff were wonderful and pleasant to interact with. The hotel is beautiful, especially the outdoor patio and the Bar Fitzgerald.

A perfect grand hotel, with character and a wonderful history. Amazing breakfast buffet, beautiful rooms and brilliant, knowledgeable and lovely reception and concierge team.

Fabulous location/setting, rooms comfortable and well appointed.
No towels or drinks / food service at the beach/water side / no access to the sea as the steps had been removed for Winter shutdown. The outside restaurant was in the process of being dismantled for the Winter - despite hotel being open for another 4 days - which was noisy and spoiled the beachside experience. No warning ahead of our stay, nor were we offered an apology or compensation for a significantly diminished experience. Lastly, the parking charge of £50 Euros a days, which we were not informed of on check-in, seemed excessive.
The setting and location are stunning. Even though we had terrible storms, the views were breathtaking.
The bed was small (very French thing), the food was below standard and the towels are no longer white and fluffy.
The outdoor and back terrace area are beautiful. Food was tasty and good quality.
Where to start… 1. We felt it strange that there was no free water bottles provided in room/bedside. They were there the first night but when we requested them the second they tried to charge us €28 (for 2 bottles). This is not what I expect at a 5 star hotel.2. Beach chairs - we were happy to pay to rent a chair - which by Canadian and American hotel standards is such a strange thing to have to do - however, what we thought was ridiculous was paying €8/towel to use on our paid chairs. This was not a hold fee refunded upon return of the towel, it was a charge. I don’t get it. 3. Service in said beach chairs was non existent. We had two friends join us for the day (paying €40/each for their chair) and we had to constantly get up and look for service to ask for drinks/water/food. They wouldn’t serve us at the bar, we had to use the servers but they were nowhere to be found. Again, not at all what I would expect at such a ‘nice’ hotel. Overall, a disappointing stay on the service side. I was very much looking forward to staying at this hotel and now I will definitely not recommend it going forward. It felt like everything was a money grab & really tacky. I’ve stayed at so many nice places all over the world and this is not the level of service I would come to expect at a hotel with a 5 star rating.
I’ve visited this hotel many times over the last 20 years but never to stay. It has a lovely location. The views are beautiful.
They charge an astronomical amount for a sunbed on top of your room charge. Double Room charge approx 1030 euros a night. Sunbeds , resident charge 75 euro not including a towel! Lunch menu did not have a great choice and again absolutely crazy prices. The deal was B&B and we got charges for eggs ? on the first morning. 3 omelette at breakfast 36 euros!!!!!

The Hotel is the historic former residence of Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald and is a beautifully restored, art deco treasure. The location is wonderful, on the beach looking out over the bay of Juan Les Pins. The hotel beach and jetty has sun loungers, tables and a waterside restaurant, as well as a spa, and a lovely terrace looking out over the bay. The main hotel has a stylish cocktail bar, with many photos of the Fitzgeralds and other celebrities who have stayed over the years. Our room was spacious, stylish and comfortable, with a superb, panoramic sea view. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of local and international dishes - it was possible to take breakfast on the terrace. One can walk directly from the hotel along the shoreline of the Cap d'Antibes.
In most cases, the service at the hotel was great, but there were one or two interactions which did not meet the generally high standard. The menu in the restaurant was a bit limited although the food itself was nice.
The room was amazing, with such a great view, and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar had the best view and was so lovely to sit.
I thought the breakfast was a little expensive for what it was. We did the buffet on the last day and had room service on the others. The fact that you have to pay for sun loungers and towels as a hotel guest is outrageous. We didn't like that,
Top location, very friendly staff, lovely garden with wonderful views of the bay. Stylish room but very small bathroom.
Bathroom was very small, shower was in the bathtub, not convenient. Toilet just behind the sink, etc ...There was a Nespresso coffee machine in the room but you had to pay for every cup, seems ridiculous in a 5 star hotel.
We booked a last minute overnight stay in this beautiful hotel before our trip to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat the next day.We booked a superior double room with a balcony but the room ( Room 92) we were given was two times smaller than what was advertised, and it didn't have a balcony despite being listed very clearly on the reservation. The bathroom is also outdated. The room was located right next to the main road, which meant that you can hear the noise of every single car and motorcycle passing by. The antique elevator right in front of our room also made a lot of noise, which of course has also been incredibly frustrating.Coffee pods , sun loungers , beach towels are charged which are free in other hotels. The hotel reception staff were professional and pleasant. Belle Rives is a must if you are in Antibes and have unlimited budget.
The building is beautiful and the staff were very professional and pleasant. The view of the bay from the bedroom was beautiful
Breakfast was overpriced and not good. In truth, we had better petit dejunner in Juan Les Pins. The rooms were noisy particularly the bedroom on the first floor with a street view.
The location was great, right on the beach. Friendly staff and the hotel had a nice terrace overlooking the water.
It didn’t feel 5star but the prices matched it. The cheapest rose wine was 12 euros. Sparkling water was 8 euros for a 33cl bottle. I requested to book a table downstairs through the app next to the bed (there was a qr code) and I never heard from them. It was 45 euro extra to have our dog. The rooms were clean but didn’t feel 5star. No pool or gym or any facility you’d expect in a fancy hotel
Wonderful Romantic setting with magnificent sunsets. Steeped in the history of F Scott Fitzgerald, his wife Zelda and the many famous guests they lavishly entertained. The echoes are still there; at least metaphorically.
The room was lovely but very hot emanating from the rear by the wardrobe. We had to open a window to cool it down. Unfortunately, the air conditioning adjustment was stuck and even the lady who showed us to our room on arrival wasn't able to move it. As we were road side that made it a little noisy as the road is fairly busy. It was a small inconvenience. Not enough for us to ask for assistance
Very unique and outstanding place in the Cap d'antibes. A hotel with a long history and tradition to meet highest client standards. You arrive at the hotel and with the welcome coffee or tea on the terrace the outside world is forgotten.
some of the landside rooms are very small and the light from the outside is very bright at night.
breakfast good staff good view fantastic
Rooms rather small --- particularly the bathroom -- if the door opened out-- instead of in --it would make a bigger room!
