    Pros +

    • Repeat visitor. Excellent customer service. Great location.
    • For a really inexpensive option the little self-catering unit was very well equipped - hob, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, iron, ironing board, TV, cleaning kit etc. French windows onto a roomy balcony with table and chairs. Little breakfast bar with bar stools. Very comfortable bed. Warm duvet.
    • The hotel offers studios with a small kitchen. Ones at the front overlook a pedestrian street, some of the ones at the back have a terrace overlooking other boildings. The street is not noisy in late september. The room was sparking clean, and offers an expresso machine, and kettle for other drinks. I checked in late (reception closes at 6pm) and the hotel sent door codes to let me do that. They also emailed a link to their very useful Villa d'Elsa guide giving recommended restaurants in the area. Breakfast can be ordered in advance, and is eaten in the room, but I went to Cafe Sweet one minute away.

    Cons -

    • Nothing. As long as you realise it is a studio apartment offer and not really a hotel.
    • Two things:* While the bed was comfortable, the pillows felt a bit old, as if they need to be updated* While the hotel’s central location is a positive (close to restaurants, beach, shops, train, etc), it was also negative. The location is very noisy at night, with noise from nightclubs, restaurants and loud late night pedestrians. I was there for the last 2 weeks of August and the 1st week of September. Until about half way through the 1st week of September, the noise was constant every night, no matter which day of the week it was. Fortunately, during the last few days of my stay, the noise died down. This suggests that it is probably something that happens in the height of summer holiday time and is not necessarily an issue at other times of the year.
    • All was good, just it was a surprise that the second bed is installed above the kitchen table (a special mechanism that goes together). I didn't notice this from the pictures and thought that apartment was bigger overall.

I had a great 3 week stay at Villa d’Elsa. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, with a well-equipped and clean kitchenette, also with bigger than usual wardrobe space for clothes and shoes. The bed was comfortable, with bed and bathroom linen changed sufficiently frequently. The hotel is located very close to restaurants, shops, beaches, buses and trains. It is an excellent base from which to explore the Côte d’Azur or just to stay and relax in Juan-les-Pins. I enjoyed good quality wifi. The hotel has a sufficiently spacious lift, so that one does not have to carry luggage upstairs.

Nice place, nice staff and good location

    9AkinyiPosted on: 7-26-2024

Great location close to everything you need, friendly staff who were always on hand to help, clean and spacious balcony room. We've stayed here before and loved it then so it was a repeat stay and it didn't disappoint!

Location was great, in the middle of neighborhood, around restaurants and close to the sea. It was good that we came by bus, and we didn't have a rented car, otherwise, it would be quite a headache to park there (and you cannot go close to the hotel with a car, as it's pedestrian pathway only). Fully equipped kitchen and nice bathroom.

All was good, just it was a surprise that the second bed is installed above the kitchen table (a special mechanism that goes together). I didn't notice this from the pictures and thought that apartment was bigger overall.

The location The balcony Comfy pillowGreat kitchen facility Super friendly and accommodating staff

The noise at night at the weekends No issue in week days as long as windows closed

Great location. Rooms at back of building were quiet. Rooms seem fresh and renovated. Nice complete kitchen. Nice size patio on back room.

Room was small when you factored in luggage for 2 people but the large patio helped.

    9KatyPosted on: 5-12-2024

Excellent location. Lovely room and kitchen facilities. Shower was fab. Staff friendly and helpful

Could hear a bit of noise late some evenings from the bars on the street…. Due to its great location!

    9AntonioPosted on: 5-6-2024

Central location, clean, very friendly reception, good bathroom and shower, big room with kitchen. Overall, a big and beautifull apartment.

You can not drive with your car in the hotel street to unload the luggage, because there are posts at both sides of the street. There is no possibility to have breakfast in the hotel (but there are plenty alternatives in the neighbourhood).

    9JunghunPosted on: 4-23-2024

The location of the hotel was great, with supermarkets, beaches, and restaurants nearby.

I didn't have any inconveniences during my stay.

    7BradPosted on: 4-10-2024

    Position and staff were excellent.

The room was very small and had a very unappealing outlook

    8JuliaPosted on: 10-6-2023

The property has a few Aircon units, and was roomy for 3 people. It was clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen provided a new kitchen sponge kit. The place is very central, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

The kitchen cups and utensils were dirty, this was probably due to lack of dishwasher detergent, the fact that the place charges you if you do not clean the kitchen before you leave, putting pressure on customers to wash the cups etc by hand. Bring your own dishwasher tablets if you stay here. There is no parking available from the hotel, only a public pay parking place a short walk away. The shower and toilet room is on the small side. The second bedroom has an Aircon unit right above a bed, which is blowing cold air into the bed.

    9GabriellaPosted on: 9-4-2023

Very friendly and extremely helpful. Surprisingly quiet considering its very central location.

    9NoemiPosted on: 7-23-2023

Location was excellent. Very friendly staff. Clean and with amenities provided. Fully equipped kitchen. Working AC that was a life saver, as outside temp was around 37 C.

Could have been nice to have salt and pepper in the kitchen. Drying rack on the terrace. Sun umbrella to rent or borrow. But these are just minor things

Close to the SNCF station, to the beach and surrounded by many restaurants and bars

Fantastic location in the heart of the restaurants and bars but not noisy. Just a short walk to the beach and from the railway station.Very Friendly and helpful staff Super comfortable bed .

There was a food smell in the room, from the restaurant below but not over troublesome.

    10RonaPosted on: 6-28-2023

Perfect Location ~ Very clean hotel with great AC. Staff were in contact to make us aware of lunchtime closures and happily stored out bags.

    Slightly small for 3 adults

    7ClionaPosted on: 5-4-2023

The room had some nice decorative features and a lot of kitchen equipment if we wanted to cook or eat there. Like a small apartment. The coffee machine was good too

The bed was a double for us, mother and daughter, so it was a bit tight. Two singles would have been better
