Mitsis Rodos Maris

My experience at the hotel was exceptional, me and my family had the best time there. The staff were friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and the food was definitely the best among all the hotels we've been to.

there's nothing that we didn't like at the hotel. Everything is great.

Nice hotel location directly at the beach incl sun chairs. Very nice view to the sea from our room. Diverse food options for every taste.

Facilities very dated; rooms have no basic amenities like shaving kit, hygiene kit, dental kit. Beds quite uncomfortable. No free shuttle to nearby locations. No billard table, no proper beauty salon but some basic beauty services only.

I really liked the hotel. Wonderful beach, clean rooms and very friendly hotel staff. Especially the waiters in the restaurant. I will definitely come again.

Nice 5 star all inclusive, we arrived on the first day of the season. So all the restaurants were closed (opened on the next day).Bar stuff were very plesent and friendly!All stuff were pleasant to our requests. A great all inclusive experience, beautiful beach. Would love to come again!

Lovely selection of places to eat (& drink) in addition to usual buffet restaurant. Location great ... right on beach which also had hotel beach bar and pizzeria. Also able to catch boat from beach to various destinations (such as Rhodes Town, Lindos). Low rise, village feel was pleasant. Went wakeboarding (not inclusive) but was good fun.

The complex is looking a little tired (if you've been to other Mitsis Hotels such as those on Kos - you may notice it). Our room (Seaview) was near a main building AirCon Unit so quite noisy when sat on balcony- but we did get used to it. Really only 1 pool ( the others are more like splash pools)... but we didn't use the pool as beach is so close and was our favourite spot. There is a watersport centre on beach though not much is inclusive. We used windsurf kit (kit is tired - fine for beginners).

Food and drinks were amazing!! Staff were great! Rooms were lovely and clean! Fantastic variety of other bars/ restaurants! Would absolutely recommend

Not much seating in the evenings

Our room was great, we had booked a family garden view but had good sea views. The room was modern and the divide between the kids ‘bedroom’ and ours was a good idea. We did have quite a few ants but they were tiny and kept to their own business. The A la carte Greek restaurant was lovely. Nicely set out with good food and great views. Also the breakfast option at that restaurant was great although we didn’t know that was an option at the start of our holiday and had to find out for ourselves.

The sun loungers were the worst I’ve ever encountered and, when we were there (school holiday season), there was a massive shortage of towels around the pool. We couldn’t get towels for the first day or 2. I really didn’t rate the beer either. I’m not a fan of all inclusive and things like this beer is why. I grabbed a few Mythos from the shop for the room and they were so much nicer than the bottled beer in the room and draught beer around the hotel.

Special mentions to Georgia, concierge at reception. She was amazing! and made our trip for sure. The gentlemen who helped with the suitcases and saved our Hermit crab too ;o) (long story!) The bar staff on the beach also amazing at the Rodos Village end of the bar. Chris and Stefano getting a special mention. The room service was great too.

some staff in the restaurant were a little less welcoming, for a 5* would have expected more attention at the tables, clearing etc. the Good certainly outweighed the bad and generally you could not ask for better people than those in Rhodes. Sunbeds need sorting they don't stay in position. The food in the restaurant was repetitive and ok standard.

The location is amazing and the hotel is grand. The staff were very professional. The only thing that I wish would change is how some of the customers behave. This place deserves all the praise and we would highly recommend.

All was well until a family of 23 arrived and disturbed, what it seemed to be everyone's vacation. Very loud and we couldn't enjoy the beach or any shows as they would jump around and cause havoc. Also the only thing that I can say about the hotel itself is that they should change the quality of the gyro as it is nothing like our traditional dish and it puts us to shame.

Disappointing and not 5 star

Needs refurbishment, very dated. Hotel split over lots of levels, lots of steps. Pool tiny, not enough sunloungers. Slippery surface by kids pool, queues for drinks at hotel and at the beach bar. Room had ants that kept reappearing after room was supposedly cleaned, even a cockroach in our room on arrival. Some staff work very hard, others are very rude. Definitely not a 5 star, 3 at best. Very disappointed.

Stayed in hotel in August 2024, Good location, close to beach. Food choice and quality was good. Friendly and qualified stuff. Good choice of drinks and cocktails in bars, high quality.

Low cleanliness level in room, towels, bead shirts and pillowcases were not clean with some spots. A lot of ants in room.

Doesn’t worth the money.Surely not a 5 star hotel.

The room was full of ants that they were even at my daughter’s bed .We ended sleeping at the sameDay for the rest of the holiday as she was afraid.A rusty metallic pipe was in the wall with a nail that couldEasily get injured.And the last thing,My husband drunk an expired fizzy drink and ended upfeeling sick for hours.The worst thing ever is that we send twice emailTo the management and they didn’t even bother to reply.

Food was good especially the a la carte restaurants

We were given the wrong room initially so spent 4 nights not in the room we booked. We were then told our new room was ready had been kicked out of our old room to then be told we weren’t allowed the key to the new room because it was being cleaned. This kind of ruined the stay to be honest. The sun beds were pretty awful as well

The food and the restaurants were good. The hotel is like a Greek village with an access to the beach.

The maintenance, size and cleanness of the room . I asked for a room on the ground floor . Despite the fact that the room was in a great location with the beach access, I received a very small room and there were ants in it. I asked a few times to change a room for the same location but I always received the reply that everything was fully booked. I think that even thought I ordered a single room, after I had ants in the room, I should have been upgraded. Instead I got from the costumer relations manager a half hour massage. It was nice but still not satisfyingly after most of my holiday I wasted with asking to reclean the room. The hotel has a great protentional it has to be renovated.

I liked the food, the pool area, the fact the beach is not far. Staff in the main restaurant were superb very friendly and helpful.I like that you can go to another partner hotel to have lunch dinner and stay for the day

I did not like that you don't have enough irons and ironing boards, most days I have to travel around with clothes that were not ironed.We didn't like that one of the staff lied about availability to go to the children's pool at the other hotel (mitsis rodos village) we are there to enjoy ourselves. We went anyway and it was virtually empty so I don't know what she gained by lying to my family

I like modern, luxury main building, five la a carte restaurants, everyday dinner with a theme. I like hotel beach. We love the food, drinks. Everything was so clean!

I didnt like that we came and try to book la a carte restaurant, but it was fully booked. There was two childs pool… but they were very small. But little bit deep for 100cm child. And not so much activities for kids. My child 3 and half. And i cannot leave it for a little while. Babysitting price for 35euros and just from 4 years old.
