    • The staff were absolutely wonderful. They always made you feel like they were happy to see you, never letting an opportunity go by to smile and speak. The ladies at the front desk were gracious and wanted to make sure all my family's needs were addressed. Absolutely awesome. And the food at the restaurants (especially Mesoyios) was GREAT! I know you are on an island with so many food options, but please take one night to eat there. Being right on the beach was a huge bonus. Between the beach and the pools, there was always a spot available to relax by water, with really good drink service. And you are right next to a water taxi to and from the Old Port. We used that several times and thought it was the best way to get to Skiathos Town. And I don't know if it was the design of the place or just the nature of Skiathos, but the resort was almost completely booked but NEVER felt crowded. Never got loud.
    • We liked the location and that it had everything we needed. Service was ok, breakfast was good. They changed our towels daily.
    • This property is a hidden gem. The staff is what makes the difference, especially the manager. George R., he was a true professional and always checked in with us to make sure everything was going great. The rooms were fantastic with a lovely view. I was greatly impressed with George and his team.

    Cons -

    • The included breakfast buffet left a little to be desired, but there are certainly enough options to get a decent meal in. Compared to everything else, it was disappointed that it felt like "typical" resort breakfast buffet. Perhaps that's just compared to the wonderful food elsewhere at the resort. The rooms were a little smaller than the pics made them looks. Nothing bad, but smaller. We initially planned for me, my wife, and my two teen daughters to stay in one room. We immediately requested an additional room. And the staffing could not have been more accommodating. But... if you 3 or 4 people, do what you can to get the largest suites they have or plan to have multiple rooms.
    • We paid €1800 for 4 nights. We booked a sea view room. The room had PARTIAL sea view and when I mentioned it they said those ARE the sea view rooms, when you sit on the chair on the balcony all you can see is the roof of another room. No view. The pillows are hard and I woke up with a headache every morning. There is NO smart TV so we were stuck with local cable for the times we wanted to stay on and relax. It is hard toBelieve a resort like that don’t have a smart tv?? The water to shower had good pressure but during peak hours the water was like warm. The AC doesn’t cool down the room well.
    • It was the end of the season so it was a little quiet, but that’s not the hotel’s fault

The location couldn’t be better. It’s lovely and stylish and very comfortable beds. Lovely rooms.

I really didn’t like how they segregated the dining room in the morning for people staying in the suites and those staying in rooms, whether deluxe, king, etc. I found out that we were paying more for a deluxe room because of booking earlier and we could have had a suite for a lesser price. But still you were relegated to a lesser breakfast room. If I had known only suites had use of the infinity pool and other extras when I booked I would have chosen the suite.

Lovely, clean rooms, bar, pool, beach all excellent, breakfast good choice.

    9BrucePosted on: 6-30-2024

Amazingly helpful and friendly staff. Own beach with water taxi to main town.

For a “luxury” hotel you would expect tea and coffee making facilities in room as standard rather than for an extra fee. Apart from that all great.

    8LauraPosted on: 6-17-2024

Lovely location in a quiet area but with a direct stop on the water taxi straight to the port. Friendly and attentive staff. Rooms were excellent and spotless. Fabulous views of the sea and good beach access. We ate lunch at the hotel twice and it was surprisingly good for hotel fare. There was an excellent gym, and both pools were lovely. The little restaurant directly next door, which shares the beach, was very good and we went there for several lunches. We loved getting the water taxi to the old port for dinner every night (€3.75 per journey).

The layout is quite bizarre in that the view of the sea at both pools is obstructed by two restaurant structures. It would have made much more sense to have built the restaurants behind the pools so you could actually enjoy the sea views whilst at the pool! There were quite a few beach bed early reservers, which isn’t the hotel’s fault. There were a couple of areas of the hotel that weren’t finished (eg by the pool toilets), that had boarded up areas and an area clearly used for staff as a smoking area, which was a bit bizarre considering there are plaques by reception stating it us been opened since 2012. Our only real gripe was that every day we would turn off the lights and air con when leaving the room, and we would set aside towels as instructed on a placard. Each day we would return after the cleaners had been in to find all the lights on, air con blasting and also the room balcony door open (with just the screen door covering), which felt extremely counterproductive and bad for the environment. To top it off, when we were checking out, we were advised we would have to pay a €10/d environmental tax. When we raised our concerns above, the gentleman did not seem to care and said ‘the government just want the money’. We tried to say they should discuss their environmental policy with the cleaning staff but didn’t get far. It was a shame as it 1) felt like a scam, and 2) genuinely poor environmental practices.

Location was excellent right on the beachfront and only a short cab or boat ride to the main town. There were two gorgeous pool areas that were serviced by a bar and cafe. The buffet breakfast was amazing - they didn't forget anything. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

I liked: breakfast, pools, staff, restaurants

The beach. It is from another film. You need to up grade everything ! Make it modern, confy and clean. Bring some sand, remove the stones.

KBR is a great hotel, located very close to the city centre with multiple beaches and amenities nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to help. The rooms were very spacious and offering a great sea view.

Beach towels are limited to one per person per day, which isn't ideal. Car park is quite small and you are not always guaranteed a parking spot, even though you are a hotel guest.

    8AmandaPosted on: 7-30-2023

The location was great- boatTaxi and bus stop at hand. Very clean, great views. Lovely staff at the spa, nice lunch menu and a couple of beach bars very close.

Some staff could have been friendlier.

The room was lovely with a beautiful view. The service was very good and efficient, staff are very friendly. everything was clean

The shower in our room wasn't great, but usable. TBH, everything was very good, I would recommend this resort

Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Right on the beach. Staff were exceptional. Friendly and helpful. Water taxi comes right to the beach. Restaurant was good. Pools were great in the heat of the day. Bus stop 8 right outside the resort.

    Rates were extremely high.

Beautiful location tucked into the hillside. Stunning views of the sea and small islands, delightful gardens from your balcony. Breakfast buffet is served in the Amvrosia restaurant. Here you can find a selection of cooked/cold continental/ pastries/ fruits/ bread/ muffins/ preserves/ juices and fresh water and the Omelette/pancake bar. Tea and coffee served at your table. To say the staff are helpful is something of an understatement. They are all invested in one thing and that is to make sure you have a great holiday. Two pools with easy access steps and a small toddler pool. The K Bar serving drinks and snacks between the two pools was always a welcoming, clean and well staffed watering hole. Light lunches delicious but if you want something more substantial then that was catered for in two further dining areas overlooking the Aegean. Access to the beach down paved shallow steps or a slope with handrail. Staff available to bring drinks down to you on the beach. A few yards along the beach is the Water Taxi jetty. There is a timetable sign and you just wait on the beach, (not on the jetty, the guys need room to jump off and tie up the boat plus bits of the jetty move when the boat gets alongside) A trip into Skiathos Town takes 15mins and costs 4 euros and you arrive right in the middle of countless shops and water front bars and restaurants. Back up on the main road are bus stops to take you into town or along the coast to some wonderful beaches. Two euros to get to Koukounaries for example. Buses run every 15 mins and the bus stops are numbered. Kassandra Bay resort is number 8. We hired a Suzuki Jimny for a couple of days, organised by the hotel. The car was delivered and picked up. Communication with the hotel before the holiday was easy by email. Information about our stay, any special requests and queries were readily and promptly dealt with.

The downside about being in such a pretty location is that you have to be able to manage a few steps and gentle slopes.

The hotel location is perfect. the water taxi comes right outside the private beach taking you straight to skiathos town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and attentive.

Their was nothing NOT to like! it was fantastic.

Great accommodation with lovely pools, bar, restaurants and fabulous private beach. There is a great water taxi service that takes you to Skiathos town and a fabulous water sports centre 50m away.

Lovely 2 night stay, wonderful staff, clean beach, easy to get to Skiathos Town, lovely location.

Since we arrived we felt that everything is going to be great, but it was amazing. We found Stefanos at the front desk who welcomed us, and introduced us to all the facilities we were about to find inside the resort. Our suite was spatious, very clean, amazing view and amenities just right. The resort has all kind of activities, pool, beach, bars, and great restaurants with local and also international cuisine. So, in the end, highly reccomend it! If you are there, don’t miss Stefanos, if you want best reccomendations regarding the island!See you next year!

View was excellent and stuff was friendly and accomodating. Location was gold.

King suite for 1400 euro for 4 nights was very outdated. You can hear neighbours when using the lavatory and for the price is not worth it .also not the best breakfast
