I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bourtzi Hotel in Skiathos from September 10th to 24th, and I can confidently say it surpassed all my expectations. It had been over 24 years since my last visit to Skiathos, and the island is even more beautiful than I remembered.From the moment I arrived, the warm and friendly staff made me feel at home. They went above and beyond to ensure my holiday was perfect, making restaurant reservations and arranging taxis on my behalf. On my last day, I faced a minor issue with my phone that held my boarding pass. The hotel manager was incredibly diligent, personally contacting the necessary businesses to find a solution. This level of service truly impressed me!Bourtzi Hotel boasts a modern design and an ideal location in the heart of Skiathos Town, just a short distance from the port. This central position allowed easy access to shops, restaurants, and Megali Ammos Beach, making it an excellent base for exploring the island and nearby Skopelos and Alonissos.The hotel itself features 38 contemporary guest rooms equipped with all modern amenities. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool, complete with sunbeds, and the stylish cocktail bar along the main pedestrian road. The relaxing atmosphere and personalized service contributed to an unforgettable holiday experience on this beautiful island.I highly recommend Bourtzi Hotel to anyone visiting Skiathos! The hospitality and service provided by the staff truly earned its reputation, and I can't wait for my next visit. Thank you for an exceptional holiday!

Zero view from our room, not enough sun beds and people were permitted to reserve them even when not being used, pool seemed unclean with a oily layer floating on the top

Dimutris is brilliant. So helpful. Booking sunbeds, beach restaurants, taxis literally anything you need. All the staff were super-friendly and helpful. Going back next year.

Only downside is difficulty getting a sun bed round the pool. All beds are nabbed by 8.00-8.30. Not a problem for us as we're beach people but occasionally you just want a quiet day at the hotel.

Breakfast was great standard with usual options plus many more.Location perfect, central but secluded in hotel area and no annoying noise from the main street

We liked everything about the hotel and the resort, our only reservation was that we were right at the end of the season, so that is all we would adjust in future

Absolutely everything - Dimitris went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We arrived the day of the storm. Dimitris made sure we were kept safe fed and watered during the curfew. Nothing was too much trouble for him booking restaurants reaervjng sunbeds etc etc etc - All The staff were amazing especially Vivi on reception and parima “who worked her socks off” this was our first time in Skiathos definatley won’t be our last and would definitely stay at the Bourtzi again. ??

Been wanting to stay here for a while and decided what the heck this year, so booked it. Perfect location for being in the town. The staff are just utterly lovely. Nice modern and Boutique in the town Centre. Pool is spot on and nice chairs/beds. Breakfast is the best ever, so much to choose from.

The one thing, and I didn't want to mention it to the lovely staff at the time, was that the Air Con wasn't quite firing on all cylinders. We had it knocked down to 16 but it never quite seemed to get that cold. Kept the room just bearable enough given the lovely 31/32 degrees weather we had whilst there and subsequent balmy evenings.

The staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is close to everything (shopping spot, port, beach, bus stop). Everything was amazing, we had a great time there

Everything was amazing, especially the staff. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beaches and what to visit. They were very friendly and helpful. It was very clean and the location was perfect, right in the centre of Skiathos Town. The pool area was relaxing and the breakfast delicious.

Nothing…a big mirror in the room would be a plus.

Unbeatable location in the centre of Skiathos Town, whilst off a side road minimising noise. The hosts/staff were really friendly and attentive. Our room was clean with a large balcony and a great pool/sunset view. The pool area was really relaxing and drinks could be ordered from the connected cafe. Breakfast selection was great, and they even allowed us to have breakfast upon our arrival (at 11am). Very little to fault and it will definitely be our first choice when we return.

Excellent hotel, large room and good terrace, cleanliness, breakfast, excellent. Hotel position on the main street. The internet is fast and excellent. The hotel has free private parking. Staff very helpful

Great location. Lovely big rooms over looking the pool. All the staff were so friendly and helpful
