Hotel Kostis

The location of the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The staff were amazing, and we loved the street balcony view. The hotel is very simple, but functional. We also loved the clothes line from the balcony.

The walls were somewhat thin, and you can hear the movements above you.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the location was amazing. It was 10 minute walk to multiple beaches and the bus stop. We were central in Skiathos Town, and we walked right out to tavernas, cafes, shops and more.

Fantastic location in the centre of Skiathos town. Cheap, comfortable and secure. We used this as a base going to and from Skopelos. 10 easy walk to the port, lots of bars and shops around. Decent bed and shower. Lovely staff. Would use again. No hesitation.

For the money you won’t find better in skiathos.Central and relaxed..we travelled with a 3 year old.

Good location, in the town, with shops, cafes and taverns. The port was a 5 minute walk away. The lady at reception was friendly and welcoming.

The room was very small. Barely room to move around.

The room was nicely decorated. The location was central, in the middle of the old town.

I couldn't open the windows even though the room had a balcony.The shower are was only partly closed so the floor got wet.

We stayed here for a stopover on our way to Skopelos. Our room was clean and had a great bathroom. A lovely little balcony out the back looking over the garden. The staff/owners are very welcoming and accommodating as we didn’t arrive until 10pm. It’s good value too.

The property is situated very good, very close to everything. You are near the port, the old port, you get out of the hotel right into the middle of the tavernas and souvenir shops and everything.

Well, the breakfast was supoosed to be taken in fron of the hotel, but since it was september, they said, we had to go a few meters up the road to another hotel where there wasn’t so pleasent, few variants to choose, all cold, almost the same every day, I say almost because sometimes you’ll find pancakes added, too few tables for too many people. In the last day we were standing in line for breakfast so we went to a tavern.The host was friendly though.

Location was opposite the hotel. Breakfast was good.

The balcony was very narrow so we didn't use it. There was some noise from the street.

Lack of disrespect from staff and bunch of mosquitos

Check-In Experience:We arrived at the hotel at 13:45, within the check-in window of 13:00-14:30. Despite this, we were instructed to leave our bags and return later to check in. Two staff members then began discussing us in Greek, which felt very disrespectful given that they both spoke English. When we insisted that we did not want to leave our luggage unattended and did not want to waste time that could be spent enjoying the beach in 35-degree heat, they continued their discussion in Greek. After we mentioned that we could wait in the lobby, they suddenly informed us that our room was ready.Room:The room itself was infested with mosquitoes, and we spent a significant amount of time killing them. We did not open the windows at any point, so the presence of mosquitoes was clearly due to poor room maintenance. Despite our efforts, we were repeatedly bitten throughout the night. Additionally, the room had zero sound insulation, so we could hear everything and everyone in the neighboring rooms and hallways.The combination of the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior of the staff, the mosquito problem, and the lack of sound insulation made our stay unpleasant. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard of service and accommodation.

It was a perfect stay from start to finish - Konstantina was such a warm and pleasant host. She offered us two double rooms instead of a quadruple one as they had a vacancy. The breakfast was excellent and the location is exactly what we wanted - something close to the harbor. Can warmly recommend!

Perfect spot for a night before the ferry. Central, clean and friendly.

Breakfast was at the bar / cafe over the road, they were friendly and helpful but catering to the "English' crowd. Fry up and toast and some pretty ropey cereals. When in Rome and all that.........

We only stayed one night as got the ferry the next morning but would definitely stay again. It's tucked in the heart of the town, pretty room with access to a courtyard. Nice breakfast the next morning. Great start to our holiday
