- superb view from the balcony and the bar/breakfast room. Dimitrios, the hotel manager was very friendly and helpful. The outside bar area was very pretty and relaxing to watch the sun go down. The greek buffet breakfast was very enjoyable.
- Location close to the old port and its amazing sea view landscape.
- Location, view from bar and air conditioning
Cons -
- Unfortunately due to the location, taxis cannot drive to the hotel, resulting in a climb up approximately 30-40 stone steps carrying suitcases to reach the entrance.
- Although cleaning was acceptable, the shower curtains from 1960 have been growing mildew since then. Issue solved when change of room was offered to a bigger one where curtains could be set aside. Please change them, they cost 1€ in IKEA.Later on, after misunderstanding regarding the air conditioning operation, the owner, rude and impolite, accused us of lying.
- Accommodation was very poor. And needs updating .The bathroom was dreadful especially the shower. Towels were not changed. The room was not cleaned. The TV didn't work. The fridge was very loud

Breakfast was good.
What was problematic was the room was small and the shower was very tiny with a curtain. The biggest problem was booking with booking.com. The manager would have given us a larger room, but said we booked with booking.com and not the Hotel, so to change was to pay for an additional room, It would have been nice to have the option to upgrade and pay more for a better room. Will not use booking.com for over seas hotels.
The location was superb, close to the port and city center, with a great view of the sea.The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated matching the location.
The bathroom tub only a curtain and the flood would get very wet.
We absolutely adored this beautiful and traditional hotel. The location is perfect, the views from our room (with a balcony going around) were amazing, especially at sunset. All of the furniture and fittings were so pretty, the air con worked well and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was really nice and served in a beautiful green terrace overlooking the sea. The staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Skiathos.
Location good, and view of sea. Pleasant short walk to town beach, with comfy sun beds ( €20 for 2) and traditional tavernas, fairly priced food and pleasant service.
Rude and dismissive owner, who wouldn't listen when we found we weren't in the top floor room we had paid extra for. He just complained about Booking.com because they take 20% ( not my issue). Breakfast basic European fare, but adequate. Bed Room very dirty, bathroom thick with mould, including shower curtain. Water remaining on floor and not draining, sink tap loose ( not fitted) sometimes no hot water. Fridge , hairdryer and air con extremely inefficient and must be at least 40 years old!! We complained about all the above but was ignored and dismissed. The towels were akin to sandpaper and also very stained Very noisy at night from bar, screaming and shouting til early hours. No "quiet hours" policy. The whole fabric of the place is run down, not maintained - could be such a gold mine, if only it was cared for, as prime position!
Our bedroom and the beautiful terrace plus a convenient spot just outside the bustle of the seafront
We loved Villa Orsa. It is away from the busy town enough to be quiet but close enough to enjoy. Loved the little beach for a pre breakfast swim and the scenic patio for breakfast and an evening drink. Room was clean with good aircon and typically Greek. All that we needed.
The breakfast was decent. The cleaning lady was nice and understanding as well as the woman preparing breakfast and other meals for the restaurant.
The bathroom had excessive mold and no shower curtain. The balcony had a beautiful view, but the cushions had mold. For what I paid per night, it was completely disappointing and not worth the money or stay. The water did not go down the drain of the shower.
We absolutely loved our stay , the view from our room was amazing and the breakfast served in the most beautiful terrace with a view, we loved that we could take a dip in the ocean every morning . we will definitely be back .
Good position located near the port but outside the crowded areas.
Total absence of recepction service nor assistance by the personnel. The owner has been seen by us only on our arrival on the check in and has never reappered. We would have liked to ask for an additional chair for our room but it wasn’t possible.Room had a fantastic view but it wasn’t enough to define our stay legendary. Facilities were old and not totally clean. Breakfast was absolutely delusional by every point of view. Only the yogurt was a feasible alternative.
Very good location and an amazing view! Breakfast was not bad at all
The room was not ready when we arrived, we were given the keys and when we entered we found all of the left-overs from the previous people and the room hadn’t been cleaned
This is an old style hotel it’s location couldn’t be beaten. Absolutely gorgeous views from our room with two big double doors looking out over the sea. The restaurant downstairs is beautiful to sit in & relax - again amazing views & the food was delicious & reasonably priced. We really enjoyed the relaxed breakfast sat enjoying the views & peace & quiet. Staff were really helpful & friendly.
Our room had the most amazing view. It was really really beautiful. Location is really good - close to the waterfront but far enough to avoid the crowds' noise. Breakfast was good and you can enjoy amazing view.Staff was nice.
Biggest issue was the bathroom. Shower was impossible to use and the whole bathroom got flooded by the water going anywhere but on your body. Overall the facilities are a bit worn out.Walls were too thin so we could hear other guests easily.Reaching the place is a bit difficult due to the stairs and the slope.
The view and location
Towels I received were dirty- like looked like poo on them. Multiple times staff unlocked and opened door- so no privacy!
The hotel had nice views and was in a good location just a short walk from skiathos port.
We were checked in by the cleaning staff and there was rarely anyone at the front desk. The room was filthy and not cleaned daily, we saw a large cockroach in the lobby. We did not receive clean towels for our entire 5 day stay and when we asked for towels we were told there were no towels available. The bathroom flooded when showering and the shower curtain and shower were covered in black mold. The air conditioner barely worked it was covered in dust and made a loud noise when on.
Beautiful views, charming rooms with real wooden windows and furnitures. The breakfast area is mindblowing and there location was great, close to everything but still calm. There are also great cliffa so swim from just a 5 min walk from the hotel - make sure to bring a snorkling mask! The host was always happy and helpful.
For me it was a perfect fit.
Location was good and views from the rooms & restaurant area were beautiful.
The bathroom was dirty and very dated. The air conditioning units did not work in 2 of the 4 rooms we had booked consequently the rooms were uncomfortably hot.Breakfast was very basic and uninteresting
The breakfast was good, the kitchen staff and the lady at the bar were very kind. The view is very beautiful. The location is in a quiet area of the town.
The owner of the hotel is a little communicative, almost impossible to find, a little bit aggressive when I told him that one of the beds in the room has broken down - repair at our expense. Room 7 is located above the kitchen, the smell of barbecue every day from afternoon to evening. It wouldn’t hurt to be nicer to the guests, Mr. Dimitris
