La Piscine Art Hotel, Philian Hotels and Resorts

We picked the hotel at random, but was it a lucky choice! The staff, from reception to waiters, to maintenance, were brilliant! Devoted, helpful, smiling and friendly. Location was just perfect! Only 10 minutes away from all the buzz and fun, yet quite and relaxing from it all. Always a parking space available.Last but not least, their kitchen is better than most of the tavernas downtown! And there are dozens and dozens of great options all over the island! Thank you!!

Very central location, just a short walk from the harbour and round the corner from the town centre. hotel is beautiful and modern.Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was spacious. Bed was very comfortable.

Rooms turned down nicely whenever reqd and cleaned thoroughly. Staff very helpful and smiley

The sink waste in our bathroom was broken and reported, but never fixed. The lock on the men's communial toilet was broken.The breakfast bar was unimaginative and repetitive.

Very clean room.Excellent restaurant which was the main reason for booking.Efficient tranfers albeit we shared with guests going to another hotel so both couples obviously were charged?All in all it is easy to feel secluded from the general port and tourist area and for a break after transferring by ferry prior to flying home.

Freezing cold swimming pool. I had been looking forward to this for several days and was so disappointed to find it so cold let alone unheated. Could have actually been chilled to get it to such a low temperature.The restaurant menu and delivery is very good but the tables are in the general thoroughfare and lose impact for guest experience. We had dined outside last time so didn't notice this. You dine under the eyes of everyone walking through. Not sure you can change this. A managerial member seemed transient throught the meal often undertaking phone calls at the bar just a few feet away again losing marks for intimacy of guests. The bar and restaurant staff wore uniforms but this man was not dressed as they were adorned in a North Cape coat.

Breakfast was average but breakfast room was small and sowing signs of being tired....floors could do with a good clean!!Likewise room was tired.

Excellent staff, particularly Christos and Maria on the front desk. Beautiful pool setting.

It's 5 star rating might be a bit over the top.

We loved it. The location, the staff and the food is amazing!

The staff were really nice and friendly.It's close to the town center.They had a good variety of breakfast with good quality food.

Upon arrival we were provided a room upgrade which was nice. Bed comfortable. Good AC in room and large bathroom with lots of amenities provided. Hotel provided a complimentary bottle of wine and two greek treats which was nice. WiFi in room is good. Breakfast OK but some of the food looked like it was cooked the night before then reheated and was pretty soggy. Good range of cakes. Breakfast Juice not great.

Views are non existent. Hotel located at the back of Skiathos town in a horrible location opposite a smelly fish market shop which is on a noisy road with lots of cars and motorbikes. As soon as we arrived we thought about leaving and booking a room elsewhere!Room 120 faces onto an average garden that is poorly maintained but better than facing onto pool which would be noisy from patrons of restaurant and bar. Can also hear road traffic from room. Terrible location far away from action of town and needing to take dodgy streets to get to and from town. Safe in room is tiny and you need to ask reception for a key. Curtains aren't blackout and barely covers the window extent so light comes in early. Room contains lots of furniture so hard to find places to open up two large suitcases. Inadequate number of sunbeds by pool for size of hotel so can't really use pool. Staff do an adequate job but don't go out of their way to provide personalised service or take an interest in guests. No gym provided which is standard for a supposedly 5 star hotel. This is definitely not a 5 star hotel (as advertised), with it being closer to 3.5 stars in my opinion.

A nice location, convenient for bars, restaurants and shops. There was also a beach within walking distance and a bus stop.There was a nice swimming pool and comfortable seating areas around the pool. Our room was a very good size and the beds were very comfortable. We had a good sized bathroom as well.

More storage in the bathroom. There was a huge space under the sink and another shelf would have helped with storage of toiletries.

Facilities were lovely. The restaurant was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking available.

I liked the swimming pool which was big enough to swim and have some activities. Sunbeds next to the swimming pool were very comfortable. The service at the hotel was very good. We also enjoyed our dinner in a hotel restaurant.

The hotel surroundings are not very attractive. In our bedroom air conditioning was working well but was a bit smelly.

Very relaxing pool area 5 minutes from the town center. Friendly staff.

The hotel is in a very good location and very central to Skiathos town. The hotel staff are excellent and we’re always very friendly and welcoming.The hotel reception staff provided helpful information regarding nice beaches to visit, restaurant recommendations and arranged taxis for us during our stay.

The sun beds around the pool area are rather cramped and not all beds had umbrellas.

The Location is perfect and the hotels own transfer service to beach clubs and the airport came in very handy. The staff are all amazing and always happy to helpOverall I loved it

none of the negatives I'm about to mention would stop me staying again and I would happily recommend it to friendsFirst I wouldn't say it was 5 star The breakfast was the same everyday and not always hot - which is common for the buffet style serving system. The pool area could do with some maintenance and is a little tired. .

Breakfast - fresh orange juice rather than orange squash and a better selection of food.

Our recent stay at the hotel was absolutely exceptional. The room was impeccably clean with the most comfortable bed! Crazy cow restaurant definitely worth at least one visit. & the highlight was the staff which went above & beyond to make sure our every need was met through our stay. Can’t wait to return!

Location close walking to port and bus stop 3 to get around the Island. Good variety at breakfast and plenty availablr
