Pros +
- Stunning setting. The room was also beautiful.
- The atmosphere is amazing, as soon as you enter the place the magic grabs you. Breakfast was good, but nothing special. We were off-season so I am sure in season it is a bit more bustling, but staff presence was also limited.
- Beautiful. The rooms are just as pictured (and big), the grounds are fun to explore, staff is nice, and the gardener deserves kudos.
Cons -
- The pool was closed during our stay, despite a question being answered on the page stating it closed two weeks later. The other guests were just as dissapointed. The staff were also not very friendly (apart from the lovely chef).
- The pool was already closed, although in one comment they said it was going to be open, it was the tipping point in our choice, so we were sas that it did not operate. It is far from everything so you do need a car to go anywhere, but that was not a problem for us, just a fact that comes with the place.
- sink was falling apart, the shower head had very weak water flow, there were cockroach’s on the bathroom floor, the air conditioning wasn’t working properly (we had a very hot room), there was a smell of damp and cigarettes, the toilet seat was broken, uncomfortable beds and pillows.

the swimming pool only
sink was falling apart, the shower head had very weak water flow, there were cockroach’s on the bathroom floor, the air conditioning wasn’t working properly (we had a very hot room), there was a smell of damp and cigarettes, the toilet seat was broken, uncomfortable beds and pillows.
amazing setting and gardens, a unique stay for sure
breakfast could be better
The hotel is part of a lovely former palace wigh beautiful gardens and a historical chapel .It is captivating on enering into and seeing the lovely grounds and birdsong .The lady in vharge was extremely helpful and happy to share the buildings history .She also proved to be an excellent cook offering dishes from across the world .Brekfastcwas also very good .Parking was safe and secure .The bedroom was large but wasvlet down by a very basic shower over the bath where plaster was peeling off the wall and a weak shower .It desperately need to be modernised .I would have given 10 but for the poor shower.
Poor old fashioned shower with no thermo control ..
Our experience was not the best. We got there in the afternoon to spend two nights. First, we didn’t know there was no elevator and we had big luggages. As there was no one to help us, we left our luggage’s in the car and we took to the room only what we needed for the night, which was very inconvenient. The room was clean but it didn’t smell well and the bathroom had a very strong sewer smell which bothered us very much. The next day we left to explore Seville and, when we got back, a little after 10pm, we found that the the room had not been cleaned and we still had wet towels from the previous day. We went to the front desk to see if there was anyone to help, but didn’t find anybody. Parking lot was ok, breakfast was good.Something else I would like to highlight is that the hotel is far from Seville, but that wouldn’t have been a problem for us, the problem was that the roads are very narrow, remote and offers a very unpleasant drive experience.
Best accommodation for a rental car trip. It is a hotel with a magnificent 13th century castle. It is wonderful and comfortable enough to not envy any Parador. When we checked in, the receptionist kindly guided us through various locations in the castle. He took great pride in this hotel and it was actually well worth it. The room, the garden, and the lounge were all beautiful and cozy. The room was spacious, clean and warm. The mattresses were comfortable, and the bedding was pleasant. The breakfast was very satisfying and the kitchen staff was a nice and wonderful chef. We loved this place so much that we felt it was a shame to stay here for only one day. We will definitely visit here again on our next trip to Sebia.
The location was amazing
The food wasn’t that good. Floors were cold. Slippers could’ve been provided by the hotel
The location is an oasis of tranquility. A delightful swimming pool in a beautiful, spacious garden where silence prevails. Dinner in the evening is served in an atmospheric setting with great attention to the guests.
the whole complex...the garden...the interior decoration was stylish
Stunning hotel , very clean ,very authentically Spanish / Miami style. The evening meal was excellent and the chef was very accommodating to gluten free diet.
Room was stunning but it was and smelt very damp There was no hot water on several occasions but think that was just a temporary problem I hope .Lovely village but nothing to do and nowhere to eat so we had to go into Seville which is 20 mins by taxi.
Everything about the place and the very welcoming host Silvia
Dinner portions cud be a tad more. Though they were all very delicious.
Beautiful and peaceful place, amazing garden and historical building and lovely staff
Elegant, spacious, clean, and very comfortable with friendly and accommodating staff (owners are English-speaking which is a bonus). This accommodation was a treat away from the hustle and bustle of big cities - a place to decompress and feel pampered. Full breakfast which is included was amazing. There is a great expanse of land to discover and walk on. Grounds are well-kept with beautiful manicured gardens. You get a feeling of being immersed in a Spanish villa of long ago. It is accessible by public transportation.
Everything was lovely. The bed was super comfortable and the room had a great bathroom with a bathtub. Everything was brand new as it's been recently renovated. The gardens are gorgeous and so peaceful. I particularly liked how all staff went out of their way to accommodate any requests. Everyone was friendly, kind, efficient, and it felt like they genuinely cared about my comfort.
It was a little far from the city attractions. However, once you get here, the location is so beautiful you really don't feel like you want to leave.
Very nice historical building with charm and charisma, all rooms are decorated in classical style. The garden are huge and very beautiful, like a paradise. Very caring owner Mario and helpful nice staff. We fell in love with this hotel and Seville.
The location and estate are spectacular! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dinner was exceptional!
A real gem of a location, medievial buildings within a beautiful park. Take a stroll in the garden and find all the small hidden places. Rooms are beautifully restored, you can feel the history there. And don‘t forget to visit the little chappel. Other highlight was Jerónimo‘s dinner and sundowner snacks - don‘t miss that.
Only thing would be to have a sign on the entrance. Bit hard to get in when the door‘s closed, you are not even sure you are in the right place even though you are parked in front of the building.
Lovely hotel in a 12th century castle, just renovated with beautifully decorated rooms with antique furniture. Staff were excellent, Mario and Juan couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Beautifully looked after grounds include a swimming pool, orange trees and secluded courtyards. Great breakfast. There is a little local cafe/restaurant 50m away for lunch/dinner (although the hotel mentioned that they plan to start serving meals soon.)
