- It was perfect in every way. The attention to detail and amazing waiters and waitresses just outstanding. Gorgeous hotel, most amazing facilities, incredible service, stunning location, beautiful spa and indoor, outdoor swimming pool. Everyone was absolutely delightful and helpful. It was memorable every moment. Divine music at dinner, outstanding musicians.

Cons -
- Nothing! There was nothing not to love, it was perfection!
- - Food Credit: Absolutely hated the obligation to eat at the hotel with their obligatory food credit (excluding drinks); It's definitely not to the client's advantage, obliges you to eat in rather than go to the town's restaurants, and we ended up paying more than 500 francs for 3 days with some very moderate consumptions. Some of the items are also scandalously priced: A very common cocktail which shall remain unnamed would cost you more than 40 francs, that's double the price in the Four Seasons-Georges V in Paris... - Rude Waiters: while most waiters were nice and polite, some of the younger waiters were rude and haughty. Many of them did not speak proper English or French and had trouble understanding either. While we tried catching the attention of a waiter, he looked us in the eye and passed us through as though we didn't exist. I had to breathe deeply not to go and make a scene. This is definitely not service to be expected in a Palace.- Noise: The room was relatively quiet but the radiator was rather noisy. It gave a background noise which was quite annoying.
- too expensivelobby sometimes overcrowded as well as some restaurants

The spa area with indoor/outdoor pool with the beautiful gardens. Such a relaxing area. Exceptional food and very nice staff.
- Breakfast: the Breakfast is lovely all in all. However, one negative point: we were shocked to see the lack of Fresh pastries. While the bread selection is delicious, the croissants and brioches are appalling, as if they were pre-packaged and just open for the morning. The rest however is delightful: from the fresh orange juice to the cold meats etc.- Location: the location is excellent. It overlooks Gstaad and seems to be the main hub of the town. - Staff: People were generally very polite and nice. The Concierge was helpful, just as the drivers of shuttles that took you to town or ski lifts when you needed to. The chambermaids who turned down the room for the night were always kind, smiley, polite and discreet.

This is a very nice hotel with staff who are exceptional. Tge restaurants are top tier. Great facilities in spa.
Great old Charme hotel with wonderful spa facilities.
Restaurants / bar sometimes a bit too full / hectic. 40+ CHF for a drink is too much even for Swiss standards.
Bad
The customer service at this place was shocking. We had cancelled our spa booking and without telling us that there would be a cancellation charge they charged us the full amount for the treatments. Only after arguing that it isn’t right they only refunded 50% of the treatment value.
The quality of food is not constant ( one day high, one day low )
If you order tea for 2 it will cost you sFr 24,but without any biscuit or snack. This is no stile at all!The 1.August celebration dinner at sFr.200 hat to many courses and poor quality.By contrasts la cartelunch was excellent.
Great facilities with a lot of styleVery friendly personnel and very efficient service by allA lot of attention to detail that makes a differenceThe SILVER store inside the hotel compound offered exactly what our family neededRestaurants were great: beautiful setting for breakfast, very nice setting for dinner with delicious food and sophisticated entertainmentThis hotel is 5* but one of the very best 5*: even though it is a large hotel the customers are treated with a lot if respect and are cared for, we cannot wait to be back
