A charming and traditionally designed hotel in the heart of Gstaad's picturesque village. The family atmosphere, the hearty breakfast and delicious restaurant with local fare are simply too good to miss. While very central, the location is quiet as the hotel overlooks the pedestrian (and picturesque) main street. The bedding is as crisp as the mountain air, the rooms large and the bathrooms spotless.

Given the family-run nature of the hotel, the front desk isn't manned 24/7 but as if by miracle, staff appears when needed at anytime of day or night... Do enjoy the somewhat creaky wooden floor, they are part of the history :-)

This is a solid 3-star hotel, appropriately priced.Linen was crisp and appealing, room and bath in very good condition, bed comfortable.The hotel is at one end of “downtown” Gstaad (which more or less consists of a single pedestrian street). It is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the train station.A very good restaurant is in the hotel. Typical of many such restaurants around Europe, an amiable staff spoke a dozen languages.

WiFi was hard to access, needed help from staff. The hotel should choose a more straightforward way of controlling access than sending SMS messages with a code, then when you check your message box to get the code, the interface for entering the code has disappeared.

Such a wonderful hotel.Pristine,helpful staff and a joy to stay here.The staff packed a breakfast to take with me as my train was leaving at 7 a.m.

Posthotel Rossli is a beautiful wooden chalet in the heart of Gstaad, couldn't be a better location for walking round the village, or along the river to Saanen or Rougemont, the Wispli gondola is walking distance as well. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - moving my room twice until I got the best one available. Breakfast is the standard continental for Switzerland but they will also fry or scramble eggs on request.

It's pricey, but that's Switzerland for you! Also worth being aware that as it's a wooden chalet, no irons or kettles are allowed in the rooms, but the staff will iron or provide you with hot water as necessary.

I was terribly sick arriving at the property, and the lady at the reception helped me contact the hospital and arranged taxi for me. Thanks for going above and beyond. The dinner at this place was super tasty too.

Nadia and Nika, who checked me into the Rossli, were super friendly, helpful, courteous, informative and a true pleasure to interact with! The room was spacious and most comfortable! The wifi worked exceptionally well! I would definitely return to this hotel again in the future!

Really nice location , on the promenade. The staff was very friendly and helpful , they even ironed our cloths for free. The breakfast was very good. Bath room was really nice.

No air conditioning or fan , but opening the windows helped.

Great location, situated right at the promenade. Most comfortable beds ever, cozy rooms in a lovely traditional and legendary hotel with a popular restaurant serving traditional Swiss dishes. Takes you back to the times when hospitality services were delightful.

Quiet, nice and comfortable room and bath. Good location and friendly staff.

We didn’t enjoy having dinner in the restaurant which was very busy and loud making normal conversation difficult.

Location was excellent, within walking distance of shops, buses and trains. The service was exceptional and the breakfast was very good.

There was nothing we didn’t like and we didn’t think that anything needed improving.

Lovely stay at the Posthotel Rossli. Extremely clean hotel, very helpful and friendly staff both at the hotel and the restaurant. We really enjoyed our weekend there!

GREAT SIZE ROOMS, FRIENDLY STAFF, GREAT PRICE, EXCELLENT LOCATION on the main pedestrianised area of Gstaad, you cannot beat the location and this is one of the most reasonable hotels there

Could do with more pillows, a full length mirror and more hot choice of breakfast . Otherwise perfect!

Excellent location. Very friendly and professional staff and service. Post Hotel has been a favorite restaurant of ours in Gstaad for many years. Now it’s also a favorite to stay at.

The hotel location was excellent. The breakfasts were fresh and plentiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!

Parking access was a huge challenge mostly due to local construction that challenged the access.
