Kyriad Chantilly Hotel

Poor

Having booked and paid in advance there was no trace of the booking upon arrival, which meant a long check in.I had booked a twin room, I received a single.Very small room, very poor value for money.No Iron available in the hotel. Very poor quality towels.

Property was functional

Rooms were looking very tired decoratively Trouble with door entry key cards which kept failing Also, WiFi wasn’t working during our stay which was disappointing

Another very basic Kyriad hotel, although the staff were excellent at this place

Comfy beds free parking

Wasn’t much to like about it, when there was no staff the one we saw for a second seemed grumpy.

Great location if you are going to the races.Andl short walk to Chantilly town and great restaurants close by

Location is very good. Bus stop is 100m away. Local bus is free. Bed is comfortable. Excellent value to money. Rooms are compact.

I missed fridge in the room.

Location ! 2.5km from castle hippodrome and cafes bars etc and cheap as we were there to take part in a sporting event

We had our bikes with us ( expensive !) And we were told that we could keep them in our room, so up 2 sets of stairs and the bikes took up all the space! The rooms are tint and very noisy with a car wash in constant use under the window !

Familiar place. Facilities are basic and a bit below what one would expect these days, but they work.Staff very kind and helpful.

Getting a bit worn down now. Would pay a bit more for a newer shower. Breakfast is ok, but again, a slight improvement in format would not hurt.

Great welcome. The person at the desk was very polite, friendly and helpful.The bedroom was fairly clean and the sheets and towels too.Great breakfast.

Small bedroom that had seen better days.The appliances were not clean. We were unable ro use the kettle to make tea or coffee.The shower was so small I struggled to get in. The bathroom itself had seen better days. The pipes are or maintained enough since we had a blockage at some point that we managed to fix ourselves.The reception was closed before 18:00 on our second day there.

It was cheap

We had to walk to a neighbouring hotel to check in which wasn’t good as it was pouring with rain. The room itself was very small, the bathroom extremely compact. The bathroom door handle fell off when trying to close the door. On arrival, we had to open the window to try and get rid of the smell in the room.

Receptionist was nice.

Bathroom had not been cleaned! Room was very dirty. The attendant at breakfast was surly; he would not make coffee and slammed the door to the kitchen . We had stayed at two other Kyriad properties on this trip; this one did not live up to your standards.

Rooms are quite small, but it's a good option especially if you want to spend the day at Chantilly. Breakfast was rather expensive so we chose to get croissants and coffee in town.

Look for other options

The hotel is old, the room is tiny and there was a big stain on the carpet.

Quiet and clean. A little way out of town but I was bike touring so it was easy to get into town and get to the chateau. Staff were helpful and friendly and let me keep my bike in my room. Top recommendation is for the Asian buffet just by the hotel. I was massively hungry and this was just a perfect choice for a tired cyclist. Also an excellent supermarket and associated boulangerie. The boulangerie is open earlier than the supermarket

It was as expected for a budget hotel. Really small bathroom and sink. You are a way from the town.

The receptionists were nice and smiling...

There was a bad smell in our room but it got fixed, but the was some kind of mold in the bathroom, on joint and the glass of the shower. There was also little bit of dust in some hidden places.

too far out of town and noisy

the noisy banging doors constantly, and when I checked in the lady behind the desk was quite unhelpful.

Very pleasant staff, great bed and pillows.
