    Pros +

    • Absolutely incredible location and amazing service from staff. Stunning rooms and top-notch facilities. Free bike rental was also amazing to explore nearby Chateau de Chantilly!
    • Pool was incredible and kids loved it, they also loved the kids room. We got a triple room, so our room was huge - each kid got a little rob (sooo cute), a little book and crayons plus candy - it was a nice and lovely touch, we appreciated it.
    • Excellent for a weekend getaway. Love the pool table and the morning picnic basket !

    Cons -

    • Meals in the restaurant were quite pricey, but delicious.
    • Food was a disappointment. We expected that we would be blown away by the food, as we are in France and French are known for it's amazing food plus we were on a CASTLE, but the food was boring and un-flavorful. If you are planning a trip here, this is a max 2 days stay. Lunch and dinner have the SAME menu, and the choices are small so bear it in mind.
    • Upon arrival the hotel was open for a large group of tourists to visit the hotel and take pictures, which reduced the privacy aspect of the hotel.

The château itself has beautiful grounds and an impressive exterior, which initially gave us high hopes for our stay. The setting is quiet and peaceful, and the location has real potential for a charming and memorable getaway.

everything beyond the façade was a disappointment. On arrival, there was no one to greet us or offer assistance with our luggage. Instead of being accommodated in the château as advertised, we were placed in a separate, cheap-looking block that was unclean and lacked character – more like a budget Ibis hotel. The “suite” we booked was simply two small rooms joined together, far from what was promised. The restaurant was equally underwhelming, with bland dishes and ingredients that felt like they came from a discount supermarket rather than a fine dining source.

Excellent restaurant, beautiful and individual decor everywhere, elevator, you can get a free bike to use, good air conditioning, good buffet breakfast, nice pool (funky colors!), easy parking

I had a luxury room but the mattress was way too hard for my back so not sure I'll stay there again - otherwise it's a great place

Very unique experience, the staff was amazing! The rooms and public spaces were outstanding, along with the grounds. It was really fun to stay in what was at one time a Chateau. It was also a great location to the Chantilly Chateau.

It would be nice if the pool was outdoors. The outdoor area by the ;pool was enclosed by walls. You felt separated from the outdoors. Since it was all enclosed, the screaming kids in the pool did not make it appealing.

The property is absolutely expertly maintained. We had no issues during our stay. The place was spotless, welcoming and very private. The pool facilities were excellent. Our suites were next to each other and they were absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful setting, great food if a bit expensive.

A/C not working well in one room, fine in the other.

During my stay, I enjoyed the beautiful and well-maintained chateau along with its scenic surroundings. The hotel also served a very good breakfast.

Unfortunately, the bistro was disappointing and did not meet the high standards expected from a hotel of this caliber.

    7AzarmPosted on: 3-3-2025

Everything was clean, modern, organized, nice staff, breakfast was good, we enjoyed the dinner too.

Hamam and Sauna were too small for the size of the hotel room capacity, max 6 pep, and Hamam was too hot, Sauna not hot enough. They also need to restrict the time for using pool space. There were too many people no place to sit. We did massage as well but we weren’t happy with their massage.

    Location, building, food

Standard Room was in roof with semi roof windows. Drinks extortionate.

First trip to this kind of hotrl and it was above our expectations. Well styled, and preserved.Great room waited for us with a crib and a little toy in it and a great kids area, shows that they really welcome families and care about the details. Very much recommend and hope to come back.

Romantic location out of the beaten tracks in the outskirts of Paris and close to Chateaux de Chantilly. Incredible atmosphere of Christmas in the castle.

On breakfast some vegetables were not fresh

The facilites are very nice, especially the spa was really nice, the pool was warm . Breakfast was good, very well located, near the Chantilly castle and specifically it is pet friendly ?

The heating in our room wasn’t working, so it was quite cold, they offered us a little heating to help out but was still a bit chilly.

Beautiful place and beautiful rooms : restaurant and decoration Nice breakfast and tasty food for dinner

The funny smell at the pool - not very clean pool with hairs inside The too long wait for the dinner + service slow and not as professional as imagined (lack of bread and butter to be able to wait comfortably…), very long service

    8IoannaPosted on: 1-3-2025

Lovely staff and location. Wonderful rooms

The menu at the restaurant was very limited and the kitchen service was super slow, though the staff were very kind and apologetic - food was average.

    9MichaelPosted on: 1-1-2025

Great building, fantastic interior, very nice feeling overall

There was an issue with hot water in our room, we had to keep water tap open for 5-10 min to get warm water

    Beautiful traditional chateau.

Modern added bedrooms very poor design lack of space. Wet room everything got soaked. Nowhere to put shaving and other toiletries. Shaving mirror a child’s height, useless. No milk in room for coffee or tea.

    Not that much.

Room was not especially nice. We had one at the end of the corridor, which felt cramped. On checking in we requested a restaurant reservation, which was noted by staff on the desk. Later on we had drinks in the bar and went to the restaurant, only to find it in darkness. We were then informed that the restaurant only opens on Fridays and Saturdays. For the evenings we were there we were limited to bar food. The bathroom was definitely 2 star. A poorly functioning shower over the bath. The shower head dirty and encrusted with limescale. Staff in the bar were OK, otherwise somewhat indifferent. The breakfast was poor, with the main spread having a lot of salad and cold meat, which looked like leftovers. No rolls. Two breads only - baguette or toast bread. We had milk that curdled in the coffee. The list goes on. Value for money was very poor.

    Chantilly cream

Breakfast poorly explained and staffed, poor choices, the water pressure was dreadful, took half an hour to run the bath, the basin plug didn’t work, the radio in bathroom didn’t work, no drink facilities in room, gardens all cordoned off, very shabby and run …
