Pros +
- Beautiful setting in a fully renovated early 20th century neo-baroque palace with modern side buildings. Nice and comfortable rooms, good spa, exqusite breakfast and dining, and a stylish bar. Surrounded by a lush park and golf courses. The luxury is worth the price.
- A lovely property. The garden was lovely to walk in. Though wish there was more to enjoy. The spa facilities are great
- This hotel is very beautiful, and such a fantastic room! The restaurant also has great food and service. The spa area offers so many different types of Saunas- and we loved that!
Cons -
- Wish there were more towels available and blankets for use in the spa area. Also some warm tea would be nice and not only water to drink
- Unfortunately, there was a bad smell coming from our bathroom - and especially when you used the shower. The water pressure was also extremely low. You expect a hotel of this level to have good water pressure! It was also quite disappointing that the spa should be open until 9pm, but the staff started closing everything down early. We tried to take a swim at 8:45 and the pool was already covered. So much for our nice winter swim!
- Considering this is a 5 star hotel, the staff was not well training and not very service-oriented and polite. I would have expected a higher level of service

Great property and very good spa facilities.

Me and my girlfriend spent a weekend at Schloss Fleesensee for her birthday.Everything was perfect: staff was very kind, rooms were big, clean, with very comfy beds.We really enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and all the different types of sauna (24, 60 and 90 degrees)Breakfast was also very good: a nice buffet with a lot of options, from savory to sweets.Big shoutout goes to Milan the bartender, we really enjoyed staying at bar, chatting with him while he made us very tasty cocktails.Overall a great experience.
Nothing to complain about
Very nice atmosphere in the castle and facilities. Extremely nice SPA which has been extended and offers very comfortable facilities. The room was quite, comfortable and relatively big. Perfectly located close to both Berlin and Hamburg.
Nothing negative about the property. The location is very quite and spacious and you don’t experience a fully booked hotel. But in the neighbourhood some locations quite touristy.
Staff were extremely helpful and polite, the grounds were stunning to walk on, and the pool was very clean and well maintained.
Food was honestly not at the level we were hoping for at this price point, the vegetables and fruits were either dry, or not ripe - they were definitely at least 1-2 days old when we were served them. The room stated that they had air conditioning (and it was the main reason we chose this resort), but it was weak, and not particularly cold. It led to a very humid uncomfortable night. If you're a golfer, this is probably a fantastic resort, but we won't be back to this area.
Great room and fabulous breakfast. Hotel is basically a beautiful castle located in a quiet village. There are many things to do in and around the hotel.
Dinner was very good but it was a buffet that costs 49 euros.Staff should warn about the options before making a reservation.
The beautiful castle, the location, silence and discrete service gives a feeling of being welcomed guest. Even with a fully booked hotel it never feels crowded.
nice rooms and good breakfast
Service was only okay for the price, not very child friendly unfortunately but I understand the need to relax child free but good to know for parents with babies
Facilities, esp. Spa, Spa staff
Breakfast, reception staff
Nice location.
Facilities is a bit dated and could use a remodel and some renovations. The food was below par, especially for the price.
Breakfast was super delicious, as well as the dinner at Orangerie!
- it would be nice if the second sauna (Außenbereich) would have had also 90 degrease Celsius. Besides that, everything just awesome!
spa area was lovely. restaurant a la carte options were limited but very good.
rooms were simple and bathrooms dated. room service menu was very limited: sandwiches and salad
Very nice spa, staff, room, food.
Very expensive but nice
It was very comfortable, specially the spa and pool area were very well designed and accessible. The personnel was friendly and helpful. Location was quiet and close to Nature.
The inner decoration is quite out of fashion and for such a beautiful historical place, the aforementioned decoration doesn't suit it at all. It should be more classical and elegant and less "modern". The options on the menu for vegetarian and/or vegan customers is quite, quiet poor. For being a place so far away from any kind of urban centre, this is rather quite unfortunate and needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
chargers electric car improved
some staff seem not well trained with payment and knowledge of the hotel
The rooms, the location, the spa, the swimming pool... everything is beautifully renovated and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly. The stay was extremely relaxing.
The quality of the food at dinner and breakfast was not stellar as expected for such hotel. It was good, but especially the dinner buffer, had several letdown (maybe also because was a buffet... i.e. meat or fish were dry because they stayed out too long...).
It was quiet, and the food was good albeit expensive.
I do not believe it came up to our usual 5 star expectations. Looking at the room facilities, it certainly fell below five star standards. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful.
fabulous location and great golf spot
high prices and castle golf course not yet open
