- Amazing place! Stunning views, furnished in very good taste. Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff. Wish we had there more than the one night spent.
- Wonderful remote location, lovely views! Staff was amazing and helpful.
- The hospitality and service were exquisite. Francisco, the person who greeted us and oriented us to the place was amazing--helpful, professional, informative, and extremely friendly. He helped us select the absolutely perfect restaurant for dinner. He understood my taste perfectly and his recommendation couldn't have been more aligned. The whole experience, sitting in the lounge and having port, chatting, walking the grounds--which are stunning. I cannot say enough about the land itself; walking among the olive trees and grape vines was pure magic. Our room opened up to the land itself and we could walk straight out through the double doors to the terrace overlooking the river below. We would return in a heartbeat. It felt like the most majestic homestay. We wanted an experience that was more personal than some of the grander hotels and resorts we saw in the area, and that is exactly what we got. We loved every minute of it.
Cons -
- The bedrooms could use screens -
- It's a new facility for guests but it's an Old Winery so it's a very cool experience and they're learning how to service guests. Having no restaurant on site is a bit difficult but they did provide a really good breakfast.
- I was expecting more from this place. It is on a wine producing Quinta and we were not introduced to their wines at all, nothing was mentioned at check in except that we could buy a bottle if we wanted. There was no one at reception most of the time, and we were expected to communicate by Whatsapp if we wanted something. The breakfast was nice but quite limited. The pool was a real let down. From the pictures, it looked like an amazing pool, and a lot of the reason we booked this place was because of this. When we got there, we saw that the pool had many spots at the bottom where the paint was gone, causing it to be black in some bits and blue in others. This didn't make us want to get in the pool. Maybe the water was clean, but the infrastructure needed maintenance. For the price we paid, I was expecting more hospitality, a better breakfast and a pool that was well tended for. It looks like they may have just started receiving guests, and maybe there is a learning curve that needs to be had before it can be great.

Very intimate feeling staying at a winery, from which we drank wines in restaurants during our visit to Portugal. Great staff, veryy attentive and helpful.
Everything was perfect, location, property. The drive to the property was beautiful with driveway lined with grapevines . The property is so breathtaking beautiful, you can walk through the vineyard. Pool was amazing, you hang over edge and view the Douro river. The house has 5 guest rooms which have all the amenities of a great boutique hotel from toiletries, bath robe and pool towels. The breakfast in the house dining room that was beautiful and also overlooking the Douro River. For lunch and dinner they had tapas which you could order and eat outside. They make their own wines and port which they gave us a wine tasting. They also book wine tasting tours, restaurants and river cruises. A truly amazing place to stay!
Very clean, nice breakfast, small and quiet place. staff available and nice, big and comfortable room
It was a gorgeous location with an amazing view down the Douro River in a building that makes you feel like you walked into a fairytale. The room was just like the pictures, the breakfast room was stunning and the food was great, they even provided us with gluten free options. We did the wine tasting and and had a fabulous conversation with Phillipe the owner and met another couple that was staying there. We sat outside at a cute little Terrace area for the wine. The infinity pool was elegant but a little chilly in October. It's much bigger than expected.

Room was spacious Bathroom was spacious The view was spectacular and the breakfast was delicious
Great location close to everything. Staff were wonderful especially Filipe who was flexible when our timings didn’t quite work out.
We had car trouble and the owner of the Quinta, Phillipe, was gracious enough to pick us up and assist us with getting another car, dealing with the rental company, etc. The Quinta is beautiful, the accommodations lovely, and the food delicious. We hope to stay here again.
Verry beautiful domain, perfect location next to the Douro River, solid clean room, nice breakfast, friendly staff and last but not least, amazing wines! Can highly recommend staying here if you want an authentic stay at a traditional family-owned vineyard. Just lovely!
The Quinta is absolutely beautiful. The views were breathtaking both on the way there and from our bedroom window. You could tell that it was recently refurbished and everything was quite new. We had breakfast in a family dining room that was absolutely stunning, with old school glamour. The ladies at breakfast were very helpful and nice.

The view is amazingBreakfast was very good
The way to site is curved and convoluted which makes driving difficult at night. There is no fridge or minibar to put cold water in. There is no place to heat water if you wish to prepare tea or coffee after 7 p.m.
Very nice location.Beautiful pool.Nice breakfast in the beautiful family living room.
We really liked it. We have just a small recommendation for breakfast: it would be great to have some fruit salad.
Comfortable room with direct access to garden and fantastic river view. Great location with good restaurants not far away. Nice pool area next to olive grove and orange trees. Good array of choices at breakfast and excellent fresh orange juice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Whilst the pool area had a fantastic view, the decking needed some maintenance, and the sun loungers could do with cleaning. When the weather is warmer, it would be nice to have an option of taking breakfast outside, although the breakfast room had a great view of the river. These are minor points, though.
We so enjoyed our stay. The location in between Régua and Pinhão was terrific. Staff was very helpful arranging taxis for us during our stay. The view and the grounds were amazing.
We loved our stay here and wouldn’t change anything.
The Quinta was located high in the Douro Valley at the end of a well-marked winding road and is nicely laid out with the rooms overlooking the Douro Valley with the River below. The staff was excellent and tended to all our needs. We had a wine tasting in the patio and the host was very helpful in suggesting and reserving other Quintas for the next day. The property is beautiful, and we took advantage of the infinity pool also overlooking the valley.
All good... nothing but compliments!
Quite, fantastic views, pool to ourselves, bird song all around, far reaching views. Super breakfast. Great service from the two ladies that looked after us.
This Quinta is so amazingly beautiful that it seems unreal. Perfect location and the views will take your breath away
The view from the pool was splendid!
The drive to the property was a bit harrowing, but also beautifully stunning!
