    • The room was very nice. The staff were very helpful.
    • Location and caring black woman on the staff -couldn't have made it without HER!!!
    • Beautiful and serene. Loved the garden and sitting areas. Very friendly and very helpful staff. Wonderful restaurant

    Cons -

    • The dinner menu was a 5-course meal. It would have been nice to have other options.
    • Not many personal product in bathroom and Kleenex was out, but nice juices and water in fridge. No shower
    • The room we had had a bathtub in the room with a hand held shower spray. But it was impossible not to get the floor wet and it made the room humid after using it.

The grounds are beautiful, the staff amazing, and the picnic breakfast served to your room a delightful basket of surprises. Dinner available on site was a truly amazing experience.

Exceptional stay overall, lovely staff and very comfortable room.

If you don't take the dinner at the hotel, (Michelin starred restaurant, quite expensive tasting menu) there really isn't much to eat around the hotel.

This is a jewel that we were so lucky to find. We had the top floor suite which was lovely. The dinner in the downstairs restaurant was a highlight of our trip and the breakfast (brought to our suite in the most adorable picnic basket ) was wonderful! In a very busy, tourist packed village, this was a much needed breath of fresh air.

So beautiful. The staff so very nice. The room was perfect: big windows, nice bed, soft linens, a great soaking tub, and breakfast delivered in a lovely picnic basket!!!

That you cannot order a simple dinner like just soup. 5 courses or nothing.

Beautiful setting in Giverny and room was very clean, spacious and superb service! Dinner was a spectacular experience!!

    Loved everything!

Stylish suite in a lovely hotel - perfect location for visiting Monet’s garden. Amazing restaurant!

We stayed on a particularly hot night and with no air-con the mezzanine bedroom was unbearably hot (even with the Dyson fan!).

Excellent breakfast delivered to room at predetermined time. Ordered with front desk staff the evening before and order was correct.

While we were upgraded to a Suite which was situated on a level above ground floor accessible only by outside stairs. This suite was a duplex (2 floors separated by a second staircase to the second floor). Entry was to the main sitting area with a very luxurious bath behind it. It was inconvenient to carry our suitcases up the narrow stairs. The bedroom on the floor above it made night time trips to the bathroom inconvenient and unsafe. We later found through conversation with our downstairs neighbor that they asked to be moved from our Suite to a ground level room as they also found the duplex with bedroom above the bath to be inconvenient and unsafe. My wife had knee surgery 6 weeks prior to our stay so this unexpected experience was not welcome nor comfortable.

Very nice and comfortable room and bathroom. Wonderful restaurant for dinner. Great walling location to Giverny sites.

Attractive hotel with a lovely garden. Good parking. Helpful staff. The room had lots of individual touches and a fantastic bathroom. When we stayed the restaurant was closed but we had a wonderful “picnic” breakfast in our room supplied by the hotel. Great location for the visiting the Monet garden. It was so nice to stay in the village after most of the tourists had left.

Our room was a little hot but the temperatures were very high at the time of our visit.

It within 8 minue walk of Monet's home and gardens. The Restraunt was fabulous !! The reception staff was attentive to our every request.

The sheets might have been softer. Coverlet was too thick and felt heavy. No English-speaking channels on TV.

The location. The breakfast in the garden. The room is spacious.

This is a very good hotel but there were various shortcomings in the service which made me very unhappy. When we arrived close to 4 pm, the staff said our room wasn't ready. 4 pm check in is the standard at the hotel (this is quite late as many hotels allow check in as early as 2 pm). We finally got our room around 430 pm. Staff did not even offer a drink, we had to ask.Our travel was in summer so we knew it was going to be hot in Paris. When I booked this hotel, booking.com indicated the room will have Air conditioning. The room that was given to me had no air cond, just fans. It was like a boiling oven as the bedroom is upstairs. Even with fans, the room was hot. I did not sleep well in the 3 nights I was there and caught up on sleep in the next hotel. Not pleasant at all. On check in, we asked the hotel if they could arrange a taxi for us when we check out as we had a very early morning train to catch back to Paris. We ordered a taxi for 645 am on our departure date. On the departure date, no taxi arrived. I panicked as our train as at 715 am from Giverny. Lucky I had a taxi number and the driver rushed to get me. The hotel staff obviously forgot to book the taxi.My check out was early in the morning. Hotel reception did not even bother to ask me what time I wanted to check out, if I needed my bills to be ready. They had such a laid back attitude. On the morning of my check out I just left my key in the room and left a note asking hotel to call me. Staff attitude - they appear friendly but in actual fact they are not. They show anxiety or displeasure subtly if guests ask many questions. An area to improve.I asked the hotel reception to have the manager ring me back so I can express dissatisfaction. No manager rang back.

    Felt safe

They canceled my reservation then put me in a location that was 10 min away from where I needed to be so I could not participate in breakfast and the hotel did not pass on my payment information

We were rebooked at La Plum Art, the companion Guesthouse due to a closing of Le Jardin des Plumes. Although disappointed that we had to be moved, our stay at this small renovated Guesthouse was excellent. The renovation was tasteful and the rooms and bathrooms superb. Gorgeous linens and bedding. The mattress was perhaps the most luxurious that I have experienced in my global business travel at many 5 star hotels. I slept superbly. Breakfast was lovely, each coffee individuality prepared French Press style. The property is an easy distance to the Giverny sites.

    Parking is on the street.

We were relocated to a 2nd property. The 2nd property & staff were fine, but further from the desired location. This Caused for great confusion and frustration for us and others.

Being relocated after a confirmation is unacceptable, regardless of the reason. Poorly explained & handled. Sounded like it was for money.
