Cabins are spacious and have good kitchen everything you need to make breakfast or dinner!

Clean facilities, Friendly staff and easy check in. Good value for money. Everything worked in the cabin. There is parking on premises for a car outside. Cabin had a small kitchenette with appliances that were as advertised. We brought our own bed linens and towels.

the double deck bed is making noise whenever i move/change positions. it feels like its about be damage.

The setting is beautiful. It is located next to a river in a ski town. We stayed in one of the cottages. The cottages were cozy. We went to a separate building for the bathroom and sauna. Bathrooms were immaculate. The sauna was a nice touch after a day of skiing.The staff is very nice. My son lost the cabin key on the slopes. A staff member was able to come quickly to the property( it was nighttime and dark) to give us a spare key. We didn't have to wait in the cold for long.

There is no bus service to town. Taxis are expensive. I wish that the hot tub was operational when we were there.

Location close to the river and town was nice, a small gym was a positive surprise. Lady behind the reception was friendly and let us early check-in because the cottage was ready after cleaning

Sauna and kitchen facilities are not the newest and not that attractive to use.

Nice traditional Norwich cottage, everybody should try it even once especialliy in winter time. There are different type of cottages available.

All you need in a cosy little cottage, super value for money. Loved the heated floor in the entrance, perfect for drying ski boots and clothing.

Øen Turistsenter was excellent value for money with great customer service. The staff went out of their way to help me during my stay and provided me with everything that I needed. Breakfast was great, with a good choice of foods on offer.

The lack of washing facilities or a loo in the Hytta (cabin) that I had and the need to go outside to another building at night to wash or use the loo was a bit of a disappointment, is there any way that this could be rectified? The site is 40 minutes' walk from Geilo town centre so it's a trek to get to shops (there is a bus service but it is not that frequent), so a better-equipped shop on site to provide guests with convinience to buy food, coffee, toiletries would be appreciated. As Øen Turistsenter only provides breakfast the ability to buy groceries on site would be great.

Lovely peaceful location with rustic hytte, fabulous view of night sky and great skibuss shuttle to the slopes or a brisk walk with good path mostly off the road

We did not have a toilet in the cabin which we were aware of when we booked so a chilly walk to the loo but the shared toilet and shower facilities were warm & very clean!

Very clean. Arrival was as expected, with keys waiting where expected. All things we needed were there.

Was super cozy and had all the facilities needed. It felt like u where glamping which I loved! And the staff where super helpful. There was also a free shuttle bus for the ski resports we werent skiing but where able to make good use of this still! In addition, the place had a free sauna which was great!

Needed a tin opener!

The cottage as well as the common bathroom were super clean. Very beautiful location by the river, and easily walkable from the train station. It was warm enough and very cozy. The host called in advance to inform me about the late check-in and the bedding situation, and she was very kind and helpful.

I wish the room at least had a sink! It had a kitchenette but it is pretty inconvenient to use if you don't have access to water. I didn't like having to go out to the cold to brush my teeth or make tea.

Very comfy cottage, with everything you need. The common bathroom is clean and spatious.

If you are a light sleeper the sound of train might be disturbing.

Convinience with parking next to the door, play plen with trampoline and mini golf, good standard in the cabins, private bathroom.

Would love to have a couple of outdoor chairs on to use. The floor had traces of last visit, like small crumbs that stuck to the feet.

Good location with short drive to shop/restaurant.Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.

Bit of road and train noise but didn’t stop us from sleeping!

Comfortable in a nice location. I was able to store my luggage here as I arrived a few hours early.

Not the most convenient place to get to if you don't have a car.
