Very kind staff, and the dinner a the restaurant onsite is absolutely delicious. Beautiful views and a spacious room with small balcony and seating.

Located in a very small town, and I didn't have a car. 45 min walk straight up hill from the train station, no taxis available that I could find. A little difficult on a hot day. The views are beautiful once you reach the hotel, but be sure to plan your transportation accordingly better than I did!

This was such a beautiful wholesome stay! We were welcomed by the hosts and made to feel at home. The breakfast and coffee was great! Not a negative, however, should note that if you don't have a car it's a 30minute shuttle up and down in the local shuttle bus. It can be quite crowded at the end of the day so not always guaranteed to get a seat. Purchase tickets prior to getting on at the train station to save you money! Easy to access the beautiful local hikes once you get your bearings!

The weather was very warm, and the room lacks of air conditioning, so that created a bit of discomfort.

Pretty village and you can walk to the beach in 20 minutes. It is on the high hill so if you don’t have a private car, you can hike there (~45 mins from the train station, very beautiful scenery). The room is lovely, clean, big bed, big bathroom and nice balcony with Mountain View. They have a good restaurant also. Super breakfast with so many choices and tasty cafe!

Sound proof is not so good. I can hear my neighbor room snoring every beat ?

Fantastic restaurant the new owners are next level great. Dinner was sensational and a taste sensation. The home baked goods at Breakfast were delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Meri. Fabio is a kind and helpful host. Breakfast is good, with an ample choice of sweet and savory. In the evening we sat outside on the terrace in front of the hotel to take in the quiet and the beautiful view, accompanied by a chilled glass of Vermentino. Regularly (for the past 15 years) we stay down near the beach, but this time we wanted something different. The location offers a wonderful and peaceful stay, away from the crowds. What a pleasure to "rediscover" this special place from a new perspective. Sometimes these little changes are the most satisfying of all!

We liked it all!

A few km from Deiva Marina Freeway exit for a stopover. A cluster of nice villages in Framura, the Meri hotel overlooks the valley and the small village of Costa with its tower and church. The host was very nice and he gave a good suggestion for dinner as his restaurant is closed. It was a nice place called Bar ristorante Nicora in Montaretto at only 5mins by car. We ate very well. The hotel breakfast was good too. Free parking . Seems a popular place for hiking, cycling in the surrounding areas.

It's a cheap place to stay. I didn't expect more. It is what it is. Not to fancy, not luxurious

Nice view from the hotel. Friendly guy is running the hotel. Lovely fresh warm tasty croissant, fresh juices.There is a resto 50m away which is really goodYou need a car there to reach Levanto (12km)

Air Condition is missing a bit.

Very kind host, good location, parking available, good breakfast (considering most Italian hotel practices).Next door fish restaurant (make sure you make early reservation, which we didn’t).Walk down down the stairs from Costa center to the pizzeria La Tana del Lupo - you will not regret it. Great food, excellent prices and even better service!

Nothing particular, we are not spoiled & picky travelers.It is not a fancy place, but one can have a decent stay at a reasonable price.

it’s difficult to find affordable accommodation in cinque terre, however Hotel Meri is great in terms of value for money due to its breakfast (real coffee) and also it’s location being a few stops away from the super crowded towns of cinque terreAlso one thing to take note would be to check with the information counter at framura train station for the shuttle bus timing to Costa. Without the shuttle bus it will be a 45 minutes hike up to the hotel which you should try at least once for the good views, but not all the time when you want to head back and rest
