Pros +
- Quick check-in, spacious room, friendly staff. Quiet despite the proximity to the highway. Free parking. The hotel's surrounding area is great for walking.
- Having a restaurant in the hotel was a good one considering nothing nearby to get food. Just glad to find this place (not cheap) since everywhere else was fully booked and very expensive. The included breakfast was good.
- The location was convenient for us traveling further down to southern Italy. The kitchen was open late when we arrived, super friendly service at the restaurant, local, home made products (jam and marmalade).
Cons -
- The Wi-Fi connection in my room was poor.
- My timing was bad. It was hot everywhere in the valley. Room has windows but mine was right above the road and a barn containing animal feed so I have to shut off the windows. I survived!
- Finding the main entrance was tricky. Parking lot did not have lighting.

Delcious home made apple juice, bread and jam at breakfast.
A lovely traditional gasthaus in a stunning location
Not as close to highway
We loved that it was a family establishment (400 years)… loved the fresh beef and milk coming from the farm right there!!
A little more expensive than we wanted but better to a family business than a big corporation! We were in off season and if was very quiet, I can imagine during the summer it might be busier/louder as it is located right off the the road
Family run hotel, nice Tyrol location, local produce in the meals. Spoke English for us. Interesting building, good breakfast
Was quite expensive for fairly standard facilities.
Good location, relatively close to the freeway. The hotel is somewhat older, but the beds are great. And that's what we were looking forward to.Breakfast in the morning was good with a lot of items home made
It was nice stay . Staff were helpful and generous Village is quite and clean I liked it Village is far from main towns so could be positive for one looking for calm places or bad if you want all facilities and services nearby.
No lift for 2nd floor but staff are there to support you for heavy lagauages.Need more variety of food in the breakfast
Excellent position at the main road Brenner - Brixen, clean rooms, friendly staff.
No vegetable for breakfast
Welcoming staff and wholesome food. Reasonable prices. Convenient for a night stop.
The hotel is very dated and the regions icons are not to everyone's taste.
Nice authentic old bikers hotel (also for car drivers like us) with clean room and renovated bathroom. The hotel is run by a friendly family, young and old are working together to make the stay nice. We stayed one night during our journey to the Dolomites
Friendly owners, great food. Good location if you are stopping for one night in your way to/from south Lake Garda.
No screens in the room’s windows. There were lots of mosquitoes and some flies.
The room was clean.
Unfriendly staff that made us feel very unwelcome. The moment we arrived, they challenged us about the dog, even though I had contacted them in advance about. They said if it barked too much, they would have to see about us staying there. The manner and tone were intimidating and unfriendly. I was travelling with my 86 year old mother and the thought of being thrown out after a long day of travelling was terrible. We were left very upset by the experience.
Very good location. Very traditional. Host was very nice and spoke good English. Beds were very comfortable. Secure parking. Breakfast was good
Room needed airing smelt a little musty. Restaurant was a little expensive.
easy to access deck. bike path
location on the main road makes it a bit noisy
The cleanliness of the rooms and the kindness of the owners.
My bed (the third single one) was not very comfortable. At breakfast, I expected a larger variety of food (even if loved the quality)
We loved the traditional feel to the Gasthof that provided a real family and warm environment. Our room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. The food at dinner was superb. Home made Gulaschuppe was fabulous. Genuine welcome by owners and the son, George, speaks very good English. We would definitely stay here again and can recommend it to others. We stayed one night as we travelled onward into the Dolomites. Great stay.
Nothing. We liked it all.
Very nice and welcoming owners! Nice big rooms. Very tasty food both dinner and breakfast. We stayed on our way to Grossglockner.
Herr Thaler was very welcoming and interesting to talk to.Food was lovely, fresh trout from the local stream.
The hotel is right next to a main road so is quite noisy, but the traffic has mostly gone by 8pm
