Cons -
- Cheese factory should be open Monday to Sunday. We arrived on Sunday seeing happy people eating fondue and wanted to reserve place for the next day but unfortunately it was again opened on Wednesday so our day of departure :-/ We kindly asked staff if we could organise it on Tuesday because of our departure but they said no :-(
- Would have liked tea making facilities in room but reception were happy to provide a kettle. No reserved booking for hotel guests in LA Muna restaurant
- Rooms were a little too warm, shower water was not very warm and also ceiling in the shower was too low for me to stand up tall.

Warm atmosphere, great rooms, friendly staff, excellent restaurants and spa.
Rooms were a little too warm, shower water was not very warm and also ceiling in the shower was too low for me to stand up tall.
Everything! Breakfast, the room, the location, the beauty center! It was honestly a perfect stay!
The only complain is that the check out took half an hour because there was only one receptionist managing all the customers!
Lounge was good, staff was friendly, spa area was quite good.
Evening music at bar could be better. Most of books in the lounge area are in french, could be also in other languages unless they are just for decoration.
Good breakfast with large variety and quality of food. Large spa zone with fairly big pool and variety of saunas (+long working hours). A bit far away from ski lift, but shuttle bus was always available. Few restaurants inside the hotel and in the neighborhood.
Breafast was super good, want to mention that coffe was super good. Swimming pools are great, they have normal swimming pool and outside swimming pool with salt water and jacuzzy, great to spent time after skiing. They also had amazing restorant with Japan food
Pillows were not my favorite, but this is a minor thing
The pool and wellness facilities are great, especially excellent saunas of various types, lots of places to relax. Real juice from fresh oranges at breakfast, excellent pastries. The hotel premises are nicely and tastefully decorated and are very spacious. The possibility of sitting in the garden in the evening, during and outside dinner.
1) Although we had booked a room with a view and a balcony, we originally received neither a view nor a balcony. The mistake was mainly that on the "booking" pictures on the Internet, there was a picture of this type of accommodation that leads from the bedroom to the balcony, but in reality this is not the case. The hotel management should proactively draw attention to this error and correct it, otherwise the visitors are confused. In the end there was an exchange the next day, but we only got a balcony facing the street and not a view of the valley - better find out in advance where you will be staying. And I emphasized this in communication with the hotel three months in advance, that we expect a view and a balcony, but the reality was different. 2) Very weak internet. 3) The shared bed was made up of two mattresses instead of one big one I would have expected. 4) Poor service at the reception, during check-in we were not given a lot of information that hotels of this level normally provide without request (options for trips, bike rental, weather forecast).
What really stands out is the interior design. Absolutely unique! The mountain view is stunning. The room was big and comfortable. The pool and the spa are clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back.
There is really nothing to dislike. Just as a suggestion, it could be good to have a small fridge/minibar in the room. The temperature when we visited was nice, not too hot, not too cold, but as a person who doesn't tolerate heat, I would probably need a fan in the room if the temperature would be higher.
Jacuzzi outdoor pool was warm and very nice.Breakfast had a wide variety, especially good was the scrambled eggs and bacon which was made from local products in the area.Bed in the hotel room was amazing.
Breakfast lacked Belgian waffles. Hotel room shower was a bit small, only room for one, and the room had no air conditioning unit. Parking garage was very expensive, although it had charging capabilities. Hotel reception did not have a real map over the mountain trails for mountain hiking, which would have been very useful since the trails on the mountain is poorly marked.
Location and spa amenities were great! Restaurant had delicious food and cocktails.
No air conditioning
Wellness and restaurant are fabulousRoom was also niceSome of the personnel are very friendly
Several procedures in the hotel do not work very well:- nobody to advice on sightseeing/hiking routes- at moments of checkin or checkout there was always only one person at the desk, not very efficient during high season- during breakfast replacement of fruits and egg took a very long time. Several things not availableMany of the staff seemed stressedI had a lodge room with balcony and the pictures showed a view into the garden and this was not the case.
Nice hotel, very friendly staff at reception, room has all amenities that you need (including bathrobes, umbrella, etc), a small technical problem was immediately fixed despite reporting in the evening hours, very comfy bed
Single room was a bit underwhelming (small), staff at breakfast unfriendly
Very nice and comfortable rooms for a good price, location also good - close to Caumasee and for those who want to go to the base station of Flims, they provide a Skibus. Nice lounge area in the afternoon!
The restaurant staff I think were too few, they forgot things we asked about in the restaurant several times. Upon check out, I had already paid via the payment link Booking provided me. I was questioned in a very unfriendly tone upon checking out “Why would you do that??, now I don’t get the money. I have to use a virtual credit card now and with a big sigh”. In no way can I call that being service minded, unfortunately that left a negative sense over the whole stay, which was otherwise nice.
- room was spacious with standard equipment. Though the coffee machine leaked water. - location is alright. A bit far from the ski lifts but very close to the forest and lakes. - reception was very kind and helpful. Except that they were unable to provide umbrellas as apparently they do not have any... Which was a bit confusing. - Good ski bus transfer from hotel to ski lift.
- The bed was NOT a double bed. They were two seperate single beds pushed together. And they do move. - Room cleaning was very late in the day. Also, they did not restock tea bags and in the bathroom the toilett paper. - very expensive restaurants with average food. - Hotel rooms were renovated. However, you can feel/see that the hotel is old. For example, the ski rooms.
great breakfast, cool bar, friendly staff
generally: carpets in the bedroom
Breakfast, shuttle to the ski gondola, we had a two bedroom suite that was spacious
Room was too hot, some staff at the reception were very unfriendly. Staff in restaurant were lovely.
This was our second stay here as it is a lovely comfortable hotel for a week’s ski holiday. The staff are all very friendly and do everything to make your stay as good as possible. Great breakfast and a regular shuttle to the Flims cable car. The outdoor hot tub was a real highlight.
Charming vintage and picturesque hotel that is now part of the Michel Reybier hospitality group (owner of La Reserve). Located in the upper part of Flims town, the location is ideal as quiet and calm yet not too far away from the action of the city center and the slopes. In winter, a shuttle service from/to the main gondola is included in the guests' stay.Delicious breakfast that features plenty of fresh options. Nice library area to have a tea or an apres-ski aperitivo, great wine list and good addition of La Muna, the famous japanese/peruvian restaurant from La Reserve Zuerich.Staff is lovely and very helpful, from the housekeeping to the car valets and the waiters. Stayed over New Years and overall great value for money in comparison to other resorts in the neighborhood.
Despite the great value for money the room was pretty small and a bit cramped for 1 person. There was also a strong male transpiration smell upon arrival and check-in the room, not sure whether that was the previous guest but anyhow the rooms must be properly ventilated and the housekeeping should address such smells. The spa facilities were relatively small and gets quickly packed late afternoon when everyone returns from skiing ; the pool didn't have the best design (rather looks like a small olympic/training pool rather than a 4* hotel pool..), but the massage was great and the Nescens products selection nice. The indoor parking was also a bit small and not ideal to manoeuver when one comes with a big car/SUV, not really worth the 12.- a day that is billed for parking (for comparison Films Waldhaus hotel nearby doesn't bill any parking fees to its clients..).
