Pros +
- Breakfast
- The Hotel Park has seen better days. It was worn looking and old feeling. The main door was always open and there was no one at the hotel from the staff-- it's operated by a hotel about 100 meters away.
- Close to the ski area, with free parking.
Cons -
- Morning
- My room was very small, and sparsely furnished. There was no soap available, just a few small packets of shampoo in the room.
- Reception and restaurant where closed. You need to check-in in the sister hotel across the street. Also you need to use the ski room in the other hotel.

My stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing and did not meet basic expectations, especially for the price. From the moment I entered the building, I was greeted by the pervasive smell of cigarettes, which extended into the room itself. The beds were not only extremely soft but also clearly worn out, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. To make matters worse, the bed sheets carried the same cigarette odor as the building. The bathroom was in poor condition, with mold visibly present on the shower curtain and other areas, raising serious hygiene concerns. Adding to the inconvenience, there was no reception desk in the hotel itself—guests were required to go to a different hotel to check in, which felt unprofessional and inconvenient. The breakfast service was underwhelming. While the cappuccino was enjoyable, the rest of the breakfast spread was overly simplistic and sparse, lacking variety and freshness. Communication with the staff proved difficult as most of them spoke primarily Italian and had very limited proficiency in German or English.Overall, for the price, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic standards of comfort and service. I cannot recommend it and hope the management takes steps to improve these issues for future guests.
clean room, cheap
we were moved to check in in Fiescherhof and got a room there. The staff was all Italian and did not speak well German or English
Staff is friendly. No extra charge for dogs!
It was very noisy, not the close proximity to the main road but the walls are thin, the doors are old and if anyone in the hotel opens and closes a door you will hear it in the entire building. The breakfast was also very minimalist, nothing bad but still.
If you're not too critical and looking for a relatively affordable stay in Fiesch before/ after going into the mountains, Hotel Park offers ok value for money (given that it's Switzerland). Good restaurant attached.
The hotel and rooms are in need of rennovation. Pillows had cigarette smell. Breakfast is poor (old bread). While there is a lot of Italian staff running the restaurant, we had trouble getting to speak to someone being responsible for the hotel; took us about 2 hours to pay our bill.
The neighbouring hotel manager was kind enough to place us in his hotel free of charge, which was a good room
The room smelled awful, so we ended up changing to a different hotel nearby. The hotel manager of Hotel Park was not available and we had to check in at a different hotel.
The room was very nice, big, clean... and the breakfast was good, in fact we stayed in the hotel close to this one because they had a problem
The recepcionist was very busy, hard to find
Price and position
No staff in the hotel. Check in and out was organised in a nearby hotel. Breakfast also.
There was an orange juice press at breakfast
I don’t actually know how to rate Hotel Park because when I arrived, I was moved to a different (lower rated) hotel and told I was staying there instead. The new hotel was extremely noisy and there was often a member of staff stood outside my room smoking. The patio area outside my bedroom was covered in dog faeces.
The price was great and the location excellent for a stay in the mountains. As a budget hotel in Switzerland it is quite normal to share a bathroom (this is also clearly stated in the booking, so i dont understand the reviews which complain about this). The room is tidy and has everything one needs, even a balcony! And breakfast is generous.
Unfortunately there were loud parties and smoking in the room beside me until the early hours which made getting rest difficult. The smoke got into my room which wasn't much fun either. It was the ski season and i looked carefully at the hotel policies after the first night, admittedly there is nothing explicit written there saying "no parties", perhaps this is normal in the ski season and i was naive to expect to get rest? I complained to staff (over messaging because of language issues) and received a response but the noise continued of an evening, though at least it stopped at midnight after that. I am not clear about parties and smoking during the ski season, but perhaps it is something to be aware of.
The wonderful view and comfortable room. The hostess is so friendly and nice.
The location is a little far from the station.
Such a nice and lovely place, the owner is also very nice and helpful. Beautiful view ouside window, big room is very quiet and clean.
Very friendly staff, really appreciate the ice bag the hotel provided when my leg got hurt
Good location for riding the main passes staff were very friendly and helpful .Food and breakfast was average
Staff was very kind and helpful. Location was good near cable car.
It was very hot inside rooms during hot days, most of electric sockets were deactivated do it was difficult to charge all phones in the night. It was required to book another room for children despite the fact that another double bed was prepared in the room but not available on booking. The hotel require refurbishment in my opinion
very basic but clean and well located
absence of renovation
Clean, comfortable, nice shower. Easy to get to and good location. Good breakfast but basic. Lovely hotel, good value would recommend and stay again.Owner was helpful and talked good English.
Shared bathroom on 1st night was locked after 8pm I'm guessing someone was in there all night. So had to use the lower floors bathroom. On second night was unlocked all night though.
Great service and location. Staff excellent. Good food.
Bathroom a little small
