    Pros +

    • The reception was super friendly, and the rooms were just fine. The bed was decent, though the typical Ibis pillows were way too soft. Breakfast turned out better than expected. We had a fun evening playing table tennis with the kids outside, while enjoying a few glasses of champagne at a very reasonable price. Great tip from the receptionist to check out the war memorial at the top of the hill — the view at sunset is absolutely amazing. McDonald's and Burger King are just 300 meters away, and there are two other restaurants even closer, only about 100 meters from the hotel.
    • Easy to reach place, comfortable location, good facilities and helpful staff.
    • Lots of choice at breakfast. Room spacious and comfortable.

    Cons -

    • My daughter forgot her stuffed animal in bed. I sent an email and a message through the Booking.com app, but didn’t get any response. The next day I called, and the receptionist told me there were no lost items. Two days later, on our way back home, we made a detour to ask in person at the reception. The receptionist was friendly and genuinely helpful, but unfortunately, no stuffed animal… and one very sad little girl.
    • Very exposed parking shared with people that go to the nearby shopping locations. 2 Hotels called nearly the same (Ibis + Ibis budget) so it's confusing how to reach it.
    • Nothing .

    Nothing .

Hotel location is fine, we knew this when we booked it. Some restraurants nearby.

Hotel felt old and tired. Room was above the entrance to the Ibis Budget where the clientele there chose to smoke, and be loud. High price for what we got.

Location with parking and on site facilities with a bar and snacks. Reception staff were top quality and extremely helpful

    Nothing all was good

Nice location near motorway easy to find . Nice breakfast with gluten free option if you ask me. Nice staff friendly lovely outdoor terrace and gardens

Twin room a bit snug - bed not really comfortable

Lovely garden and patio overlooking he river, great location, clean rooms comfy beds

    9JohannesPosted on: 5-12-2024

The staff was excellent. Friendly, helpful and spoke English very well. Cost of bar tap was very doable. Area is very green and breaths history. The town is full with little gems and friendly people.

The beds had a plastic sheet onder the top sheet so when sweating a bit it feels like you were bathing in you own pool. Also the toilet did not flush properly.

Reasonably priced for the location. Budget restaurants in the area.

It is a bit far to walk to downtown.

Clean, basic but lovely terrace by the water.

    Felt a little worn.

    location

room 1 was allocated. kept awake at night by the sound of staff running water from the outside tap, situated right next to room window

    6TimPosted on: 9-18-2023

    Pleasant

Ground floor room was right next to neighbouring budget hotel that regularly had people stood outside smoking, this was both smelly and noisy at times. Even with the window shut both noise and smell still got in. Hotel located in out of town retail park with restaurants and shops and next to a main road and roundabout, bit industrial and lacking character.

IBIS standards, fully met expectations. Nice garden facilities.

Service at breakfast was slow, had to ask for resupplies, not enough personnel, one person to do everything !

We were welcomed by a very friendly sir at the front desk who helped us out great with some accomodations, getting to restaurants and arranging a champagne tour over at Pannier. We felt very welcome and appreciated as guests!

The second room we had was a bit more noisy than the first, but the room was bigger so this was an nice trade-off, although maybe the airco needs some service ;-)

    8JakubPosted on: 8-30-2023

It was clean and comfort place for sleep. I come in the evening and I leave it very soon in the morning.Breakfast was good

The staff were all friendly and accommodating to my family and I, from the front desk to the staff throughout the hotel. We have two active children and the hotel was a great and affordable spot to stay at, because we were visiting the various historical monuments in the area.

I can’t think of anything that could have been better. The hotel does not serve dinner, and there are several restaurants and a grocery store nearby. We bought a grocery store dinner and the staff were fine with our picnic out on the terrace behind the hotel, thank you!

Staff was nice. Near to highway. That's it.

Tiny like a shoebox. No place to put anything. Tiny window with direct view to parking lot. 2 Beers and 2 espresso: 35€!!Breakfast disappointing. And the worst of all-120€ for it! Ripping people of their money is so not ok!!! My advice: leave as fast as you can!

We had a fabulous time in this gorgeous part of the Champagne region. This Ibis hotel is excellent value with fantastic, friendly staff. Breakfast is wonderful with lovely outdoor option. Location offers other dining facilities or fast food nearby and is only couple of minutes drive from the beautiful town with a lovely river walk adjacent. Highly recommended!

No complaints at all considering budget hotel..

The setting just by the river with direct access was perfect for us- with a dog.

Theres no restaurant but there is 1 just nextdoor which was fine for us. Not fancy but food was pretty nice.
