Scandic Leknes Lofoten

The location was good and I could go to the bus station by walking.

There was no lift to the superiors rooms. With some luggage it’s a bit bad and no staff to help.

breakfast was excellent with a variety of healthy, vegetarian, English and local options

naNote that there is no elevator so not fit for those with difficulty to bring their luggage upstairs

Breakfast was decent. Location- about 6 minutes walk from city centre. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.

No kettle, coffee/tea, facial tissues.

nice location in the town away from busy street, breakfast had good selections. Although there is no elevator, but the staff was able to find rooms for us on the ground level.

The paid packing at the hotel. It was so confused the reception could not give clear answers such as how to pay, in/out privilege as most posters were non English.

We stayed at this hotel due to our late arrival, as it was closest to the airport. The property and our stay was just fine. The room was clean but had a slight musty smell, but nothing overwhelming. The room is on the small side, but it suited our need for the one night. Breakfast was good. The customer service was always very good anytime I reached out with questions before our stay.

Good shower. Staff was accommodating to help find a more quiet room.

Old building, very noisy. The place could use a serious update. Carpet throughout the building looks to be 30 - 40 years old. No ventilation in bathroom. Tiny, old TV (make sure to bring your IPad or a good book)

Breakfast was great and above expectations

The room was very warm when we arrived and there was no AC to bring it cooler.

We arrived to Leknes airport late so the location of the hotel was very handy. Close to airport and car rental.

It was a very basic hotel, good location and an ok breakfast buffet. But it was not cosy. This is a hotel that you forget, nothing special.

Extremely helpful staff, very comfortable room, excellent shower and the usual Scandic delicious breakfast

Great location,very friendly staff,beautiful restaurant and good variety of breakfast. The room was super cozy with amazing view. We could see snow mountains and northern lights at the lovely balcony!

I recently stayed at Scandic Leknes Lofoten for one night from 14th to 15th February. Overall, my experience was quite positive, with a few minor drawbacks.The location of the hotel is excellent, making it convenient for exploring Leknes and the surrounding areas. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast, which featured a variety of local options and was truly delicious.Despite these minor inconveniences, I still enjoyed my stay at Scandic Leknes Lofoten and would recommend it for its great location and fantastic breakfast.

However, I did encounter a few issues during my stay. The room was quite small, with barely enough space to open my luggage. Additionally, the bathroom was also on the smaller side, which made it a bit uncomfortable.

Great breakfast. Great selection. Everything was tasty and the right temp.I liked the fact that hot tea was available 24/7Beds were comfortable, especially the pillows.I liked the snacks for purchase options ... Ice cream, candy, drinks etc.

After a long walk in the cold, I wanted to sit by the fireplace, but it was a TV screen of a fireplace :-)

Very quiet despite being at the airport. Very clean comfortable standard room. Breakfast was excellent.

Dinner was a bit expensive to be a good value but not necessarily exorbitantly so.

Handy place to stay when we had an early flight the next morning. Very nice breakfast. On Sunday night the restaurant was not open, so we had dinner a block away.

THE LOCATION! DO NOT HESITATE because weather conditions in Lofoten are hard (wind storms, snow storms, raining...) and having the Hotel in the center is a bless! I booked a cabin because I thought it could be "cozy" and make the Lofoten experience real... but had to change and book the rest of my trip in this hotel because being in the middle of nowhere is scary... So I would really recommend it!

It is a little bit old, no elevator, the rooms are small, and the breakfast is "simple"
