    Pros +

    • Proximity to Granville accessible via a nice walk of about 5K mostly by the seaside. Salt water pool although not fit for laps. and are top-notch at reception. And at pool. Pool too small and crowded.
    • Staff were very helpful, we were touring with our bicycles and arrived soaked from the torrential rain. They let us store our bikes safely in a locked conference room. The salt water spa pool was clean and jets were powerful. Room was big and bed very comfortable.
    • Nice location, great amenities

    Cons -

    • Restaurant pricy. Staff quite amicable helpful. Management of the restaurant and coordination with hotel reception need improvement. A new chef arrived shortly before our arrival with an ambitious renewal mission.Pool too small and crowded.
    • Despite the room being cleaned, we found plenty of sand on our bed .. its a pity, given the rest was really nice
    • Swedish Massage poor very tepid @112 € not worth the money, steam room not working and smelt of drains. Salt water pool was good couple of water jets not working. Chambermaids were working in corridors nearly all day, trollies blocking corridors.

The check-in process was extremely quick and simple. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room size was enough for a 4/5 days 'escape', with toilet and bathroom separated which is always nice. Comfy bed, connected television which enables usage of your netflix or else account. Our room was opening on the beachfront and we slept or woke-up with the sound of waves crashing nearby, always nice. The swimming pool is not big but it offers a 32° sea water and multiple jets type, a real treat. Plus a walking section at 17°, fantastic when coming out of the hammam and sauna, both pleasantly big and warm. The dinner at the restaurant was also with a very good variety, and definitely enough to eat with the half-board formula. We liked our stay so much that we are going again soon !

The products for breakfast were not fantastic (bread quality, fruits, scrambled eggs a bit dry) but we still had enough to eat for our need. Wifi is working well but it is annoying to have to accept every single time the conditions for access. Fitness area a bit limited in term of apparels but in a space big enough. A water fountain near the sauna/hammam would be a good idea !

That's our second stay within a month. The room this time had view on the parking/street but it was quiet (not much traffic in december/january I guess) and comfortable. We still like very much the swimming pool/sauna/hammam area. The staff is doing a great job.

It would be good to add some water fountains at the first and second floor

The facilities and location are good

The staff would benefit from working in a busy international hotel where guests are a priority and their stay is smooth. Here the dining room is booked out, they don’t advise guests in advance of this. Even though there are no other restaurants anywhere near. Taxis are not easily available . You can’t get a drink at 11pm as a resident. It’s more like a retirement home.

    Location on the sea front

Restaurant was fully booked which makes no sense for a four star hotel …..no room service available ..a joke really!

    8WaynePosted on: 9-17-2024

Restaurant and the staff were excellent and could not do enough for us, the food was excellent and great choices. The Thalassa treatments were great and the salt water pool was very relaxing with the different jets.

The room could have been bigger.

The swimming pool area is really good. Sauna, hammam and a swimming pool with several treatments, comfortable sits.Personnel always very kind and helpful.

Space in the room is a bit limited, the structure is probably not the newest although still fine. There is no airco - this was not a problem for us being there at the end of the summer, but maybe to be taken into account by others.

    Location and nice receptionist

Smelt of chlorine, no management, no proper Welcome, terrible restaurant manager (staff under pressure and trying to be kind) no air conditioning, no room service, definitely not four star try star.

We liked the spa and pool. The bistro bar wa tops!

The hotel was in a strange location. Modern and isolated . Some garden furniture randomly arranged outside for smokers. The side walkway was filled with staff on breaks smoking. Not something your docent for a spa hotel. The food was excellent in the restaurant but the bar was non existent

The spa available all day long

The parking nearby the terrasse and sun deck.

Spa and treatments sea view rooms

My only complain I thought the breakfast could be better

    6KatriPosted on: 7-12-2024

Spa was fine but small. We had a room with sea view, which was nice.

The quality did not meet the expectations and the place were rather expensive. Staff was helpful but didn’t speek very good English

Excellent swimming pool , decent breakfast ,very friendly staff

EV loading station was below standard , general impression of a hotel in need for a refresh job

The location right on the beach was very nice, as was the proximity to Granville, and we really appreciated the pool. The staff at the reception desk was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice.

We found the restaurant disappointing. The seats of the chairs were torn. The service wasn't professional, and the 43 euros menu wasn't worth the price in our opinion even if the dessert was excellent.

Our first time to Granville & we were not disappointed. The hotel was very clean & comfortable with good facilities. The staff were all without exception very helpful & happy to help. The restaurant was extremely good with food beautifully presented.
