- Staff are amazing in the bar, but very bad housekeeping beds were dirty, floors not clean
- Needed a place to crash for the night - I booked 20 minutes before arriving, yet the front desk staff made it happen, which is great considering this is a part small-town small hotel, part pub, part restaurant.
- It was great to be upgraded to a bigger double room on our second night. I originally thought our first room on the first night was a small double but it ended up being a twin. We managed no big deal.

- Cold water in the first room. Staff were so helpful.
- bit of ware in the room and could use a bit of maintenance in the bath. but did not affect our stay.

Cold water in the first room. Staff were so helpful.
nice large room and nicely decorated

We stayed here to go to a restaurant in nearby Greystones were there are no hotels. Really enjoyed our overnight stay here. Really lovely room and very comfortable bed. Had everything needed for an overnight stay. The pub is lovely with lots of interesting touches and things to look at from days gone by. Staff super friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault it and would definitely stay again. The only downside is they don't serve breakfast.
Rooms are compact but well organized with all we needed. Restaurant was excellent with very friendly and helpful staff.
Not easily accessible with heavy long distance cases. But acceptable in the nature of an older character-filled pub
I was told ahead of time but I did have a room above the pub, and it was loud until around midnight and it was very hard to fall asleep until then
The restaurant and pub are lovely, room and bed were great. I can't wait to go back!
Everything is lovely
The location was perfect. Our first stopOf our trip. All staff and managers were kind and friendly like talking to your newest friend. Going out all day exploring and coming back to share was one of our favorite parts.Food and service was by far amazing . I’m craving the rib eye and the pesto pasta As I write this. The coffee shop next door was also
I didn’t like the fact we had to leave.
Amazing food and restaurant. Very cute town and distance was good to visit other sites around the area.
It got loud at night due to being above the restaurant. But that’s to be expected.
Delgany is very cute and the attached restaurant has delicious food. Staff was lovely. The room was very comfortable.
Parking was terrible during peak restaurant hours, and the noise from the restaurant was more than I expected when I was going to bed.
Great Staff ,good food rooms very clean and comfortable
All good, stayed in the cozy twin room although bath towels could be bigger and a bit more luxurious
Nice country pub vibe. Good meal in the bar.
Tiny bathroom. I knew it was a small double room but if you were bigger than us or had mobility issues then this room/bathroom wouldn’t work.
A nice small pub/ hotel. Good food but restaurant was closed. Open Wednesday to Sundays. Bar food very nice.
The bathroom in Room one is a tight fit. Shower good though
Atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, good situation good value. Slightly quirky which we loved. Overall suited us.
Very little.
Was very clean and comfortable and very polite and helpful staff.
The Hereford steak at the restaurant was delicious. The people were friendly. There’s a nice brunch place nearby.
I wouldn’t usually write negative reviews but I’ve received a number of emails requesting feedback so it felt like a sign. We knew what we were walking into - a room above a pub. However, we arrived and overheard a conversation with the person showing us to our room and a handy person whereby the handy person said our room was not available. They were carrying what looked like sealant, so assumption made that the sealant needed to dry before the shower could be used? The person showing us to our room misheard at first and the handy person confirmed that the room could NOT be used. We were meant to be in ‘room 1’. The person showing us to our room proceeded to take us to another room, which was up a whole heap of stairs (no problem, we’re active people), waving goodbye to room 1 and 2 etc etc. up and down a load more stairs to another room. If we’d known it was as far and up and down as many stairs, we wouldn’t have brought the full suitcases up. When prompted, the person said that a pipe exploded in our room and we had been relocated. They said the room was larger but that the bathroom was across the hall. We were immediately disappointed. When booking, the information makes it very clear that there is a room with this set up and I intentionally avoided it for various reasons. Additionally, I had read that this room and another were above the noisy part of the pub and wow… it was noisy! We did get to sleep because we were exhausted but I was disappointed we weren’t given more than a ‘sorry but it’s a bigger room’ after prompting. The room was a decent size but we had to move the TV closer to the bed because it was fairly small, albeit our eyes are not that good anymore but we’re in our 30s! Yes, the decor is dated but who cares really? Ultimately, I feel it wasn’t worth the price paid and the change of room without any real apology or compensation was disappointing. Maybe a free drink or something to apologise?
Lovely for a night’s getaway! Huge room and comfortable bed. Despite being warned might be some noise from pub there was
Was simply brilliant from start to finish, everything about it,the location, the brilliant hard working friendly staff at the restaurant,we were met with friendliness from the moment we arrived, and the food was exceptional.
There wasn't anything I didn't like
