Pros +
- The gastronomy was very good. The staff was excellent.
- The perfect place and the perfect people. We had some problems with the room, but Ms Aurora and the team solved them quickly and easily. Perfect service, just an example for all other companies!
- we liked absolutely everything starting from warm welcoming with fruits and drinks, cozy and well managed interiors, clean, large rooms with comfy beds, great service, unique restaurant food, great breakfast ending on beautiful garden and chilling area outside
Cons -
- The pool is a little small.
- I am a "tea person" and having coffee machine only in the room was not so comfortable. When trying to get the hot water for a tea, it came with coffee flavour. Simple standard kettle would solve that issue.
- Small room for two ladies

Fabulous breakfast and staff!

Bad
Would not recommend staying in this location unless you dress and smell like money. The staff were rude and will judge you unless you have money which is not what you would expect for a 4 star hotel. We had a number of instances that tainted our stay- rude staff that questioned us wanting to book transfers which were expensive - the hotel room itself was on a set temperature and couldn’t be changed at night so the rooms were ridiculously warm and we got little no sleep, when we contacted staff little was done to help- we waited 40 minutes for a staff member to serve as at the pool bar after contacting reception and them telling us they would send someone down to serves us, only for no one to come - to top it off, when checking out of the hotel they tried to charge us an extra 500 euro which was put on our room form another guest and the staff proceeded to gas light us into thinking it was our charges
Everything was perfect, the grounds are beautiful, the food was great, and the staff is amazing. Each and every one of them are very polite, helpful and actually useful, and they function smooth as a team. Kudos to the staff!
The staff/service was amazing, really nice people and nothing was a problem! Always there to help. The breakfast was fab, so much choice include amazing Nutella croissants! The pool area was really nice and clean and the rooms was fab! Great size & super comfortable! The gym was small but well equipped. We would definitely return it was the perfect start to our honeymoon! 4+++*
The pool bar didn’t always have a member of staff on it so sometimes you had to go and find a member of staff. The food menu for the pool bar was limited but everything on it tasted really good, we didn’t know until towards the end of our stay that you could also order from the room service menu for the pool bar and also French fries and ice cream were available but not advertised as such. The evening restaurant didn’t have loads of choice and was quite expensive, not somewhere we wanted to eat every night but nice for 1 or 2 nights.
Lush garden, amazing food, lovely atmosphere. Loved our bathroom.
Not to well kept, and we had ants and other insects in our room. The room was super dark, since it only had two windows. The pool area felt small. Wish we could use the roof top, but it was exclusive for one room.
Lovely interior design
The location. And using the word resort is a bit misleading. The place isn’t that big/many activities. The location because of the surrounding area, also at the side of a train line.
Very nice designed hotel. The pool and the garden are beautiful. The view on Etna is great.
They have problems with electricity and the lady from the reception invite us on a welcome drink because we couldn’t enter the room. On check out we saw that they charged us that drinks. Water and two juices. Also at dinner and especially breakfast they are too slow if you order something.

Nothing it was all amazing
The staff were super friendly (especially the restaurant staff). They even hugged us on the final morning when we left. The food was superb, the variety and portions amazing. The room was well fitted out, great bathroom, huge bed. Lots of spaces to relax and unwind and not feel like you are staying at a big crowded hotel. Can’t fault the facilities. Felt so relaxed at the Donna Camela
Only downside was the WIFI which needs addressing, fairly unusable
Extremely friendly stuff in a good way, everywhere you look green trees and plants blends with well designed locations, restaurant at the evening was awesome!

A beautiful gardened resort with fabulous staff. Room was beautiful with amazing view of Mt Etna. The most extensive breakfast - and absolutely fabulous. Dinner was very special.
This property exudes luxury and refinement. It is nicely located with a beautiful garden surrounding it. Everything is well maintained and functional. The staff is very friendly, fluent in English and ready to help. The room and bathroom were very sizeable and comfortable.
Breakfast selection was almost all sweets. On day two, we did find some darker breads and cold cuts on the buffet. With the luxury comes a certain clientel, whose Mercedes limo driver thinks they can cut you off and make you wait because you only drive a little rental Audi. But this is not the property’s doing of course.Except for the view of Etna, you do feel a little bit locked in at the pool area. No sea view or wide landscapes.
The location is a bit out of the way, but it has the advantage that you don’t have to fight your way out of a built-up area to get to where you want to go. A good base for exploring Mt Etna.Used the pool, but to be honest in April it was still too cool to stay in for long.
Loved the property, very well kept, modern, clean and comfy
I loved everything
This is a great hotel throughout Sicily. wonderful breakfast, luxurious dinner, cozy room on two floors. service at a high level. I would stay again for a week another time.
Although embedded in an area almost “offroad” and with railroad nearby, this is a nice hotel in a Lovely surrounding in the middle of a tree nursery, green with of a bunch of plants and palm trees and flowers, a nice boutique style hotel. Interesting architecture, friendly staff. The separate suites are quite Bauhaus style and may be a little too uncharming, even if they have their own jacuzzi (which was quite cool)
If one would want to complain at all, one could mention that the current restaurant concept is too “limited” as it only provides super “Michelin-Star” like food, but does not offer a normal lunch and dinner menue.
I really recommend for a couple who loves gourmet experiences and want to relax in a quiet and beautiful view of Etna and the Sea Coast at the same time, especially if you want to be away of the crowded city. I really enjoyed the experience and the food was superb. Breakfast as well was really outstanding.
Everything was amazing.
