Pros +
- Location is prime, I had a sea facing room and the view was gorgeous.
- The location right on the beach is beautiful, the views of the water and the castle were amazing. We booked 3 rooms and each had good views. The balcony in my kids room and the terrace in ours were lovely outdoor spaces. The rooms themselves are compact, and the bathrooms are a little awkward. Ours had a bathtub with a handheld shower under a slanted ceiling, my husband had to stay bent over to wash. There's a restaurant downstairs but it's still quiet at night. We had to leave early in the morning to catch the train so we left the keys on the counter on our way out.
- Good location and instructions left for self-check in.
Cons -
- Door only opened like 1/3 of the way. Very loud hallway and thin walls, I heard the person next to me blowing their nose all night. Heat didn't work in my room, luckily there was a blanket. No hot water in sink, didn't try the shower.
- We had messaged the property about dropping off our luggage because we would arrive a few hours before check in and they said no problem. When we arrived there was no one working and a sign that said they would be back at 2. We took our bags to a nearby restaurant while we waited to check in, it would have been too awkward to drag them around. When we returned at 2 the woman was just coming in, and when we greeted her she said to just wait while she got her things settled. She was short with us and a little rude as she got the 3 keys and handed them to us without saying which room was which. We figured it out, but it was not a great start to our stay.
- A noisy dog barked late into the night. This was followed by guests in another room shouting at 2am in the morning and not staff members where on hand to sort either of these issues.

This has got to be the hotel with the best views in Collioure - the views offset the 2** rating of the hotel very well. I'd definitely stay here again especially if we could get the triple sea view room (2nd floor). Rooms are small but beds comfy. It is an old building that has it's limitations, but the views are superb, and positioned well for accessing the town etc. Staff v nice. Very clean, plenty of hot water in shower. Dog friendly although note there is no lift so dogs must be able to manage the stairs. Breakfast is basic, but very adequate for the reasonable price. Safe store in room too.
I know it's not normal to have a kettle in French hotels, but we do miss being able to have a cup of tea/coffee on waking up.
Super location on the bay. One of the best-value options for an overnight winter stay.
No parking within 100m. I didn't have breakfast, and when I saw what was on offer in the morning, I don't think it was value at €9.
Nothing. The receptionist very rude and aggressive, told us it was the other receptionist who had made a mistake ???? I don't think so it was made up as an excuse because the messages between ourselves and the hotel were many!!
The reception was extremely rude. We had had many exchanges in the process of upgrading from side sea view ropm to front sea view room. A very nice gentleman from your head office (in Demark I think?) telephoned to confirm this had been done, and the additional cost to be taken from my card. Also communication with the hotel confirming this.On arrival the very , very aggressive receptionist said there was no front view available! Gave us the key to the most tiny and depressing room imaginable on 3rd floor with the side view of sea. The shower head was lying on the floor of the shower tray with no attachment to the wall - how one was supposed to use it!!!We have been booking with your company for more than 20 years with great success, but immediately checked out of Triton and found accommodation nearby.I should like to know exactly why we did not get the expected room, and although you do not refund on such bookings, I really would like some money returned please. We did manage to enjoy our visit to Collioure when settled into a different hotel who couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. We did not say why we required a room and they didn't ask so the reputation of Triton was not sullied - although it was very tempting!!!
Location is fabulous
The rooms are small and walls are paper thin . Rooms on level one can hear receptionist talking . French windows cannot open as the small table fixed to the wall stops the door . Breakfast was ok but better breakfast is available on the quayside for less . The staff were nice the location was great but the rooms are a let down
Location!!!! Friendly staff....did I mention the view?!?!?!!!
That broken janky-ass canopy lit that had used condom wrappers in it ? seriously, throw it out and replace it with 2 small folding chairs for the terrace and a refrigerator with options for coffee and tea for those of us who wake before the sun.
Great cheap hotel next to the beach. Nice staff, clean. Simple but really good.
Not so much to complain about, the breakfast was expensive for what you got. And the room had a strange colour decision, white walls would have been nicer but in general a very nice and solid hotel!
Location is THE BEST. Staff is present and very helpful. The view phenomenal
They don't give out shampoo. There's no elevator.
Air conditioning. Right on the beach. Room clean and tidy
The view and location
The room was very small and the bathroom extremely small with a hand held shower. No lift
Great location! Easy check-in and check-out. Decent price for the area.
Recently updated bathroom offered a hand held shower in the space where a small enclosed shower would have been. There was no door and no higher position for the hand held shower head. But … it was clean and all we needed for one night in a Collioure.
The room was not in the main building, but a house with an excellent view overlooking the beach area.
I could not get any WiFi, but I was on holiday so.....
Location
No shower phone support
The situation and view of Collioure. The room was clean. The telephone call before our arrival was friendly and informative.
Being old-fashioned, I would like a person to welcome me bit the code for the door worked perfectly and the room was ready and as described.
Everything was better than expected, staff was very friendly and room was more than up to par. We had an amazing two night stay and would repeat it already tomorrow! Highly recommend this little cozy hotel for anyone looking to visit the amazing town of Collioure.
City placement.
Very bad quality of rooms and its installations, also undersized rooms.
Great location and friendly staff
Basic facilities but comfortable
The location was excellent, as expected. The staff were perfect - friendly, helpful, but not overly obsequious
Perhaps there could have been slightly more variety with the breakfast - fresh fruit, soya milk etc. But it's a small quibble
