About

Founded in 1963 by a family from Collioure and built into the rocky hillside within a preserved natural setting, Madeloc Hôtel & Spa has been welcoming guests for over 60 years in the heart of the Côte Vermeille. Located in a peaceful residential area, just a short walk from the historic center, the harbor, and the beaches, the hotel provides the perfect base for exploring Collioure while enjoying a relaxing stay. One of the few hotels in Collioure featuring a rooftop terrace, Madeloc Hôtel & Spa invites guests to unwind in its heated swimming pool and hot tub while taking in exceptional panoramic views of the Albères mountain range and the iconic Madeloc Tower. To enhance your stay, the hotel also offers a wellness area with a steam room, massages, and beauty treatments available upon reservation. The air-conditioned rooms are decorated in an elegant contemporary style inspired by the Mediterranean way of life. Each room features free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar, and a private bathroom. All rooms also include a private outdoor space, either a balcony or terrace, perfect for enjoying the mild Catalan climate. Every morning, a generous buffet breakfast featuring fresh products and homemade specialties is served, providing the ideal start to the day before exploring Collioure’s colorful streets, art galleries, famous bell tower, and unspoiled coves. Located just 656 feet from the train station, Madeloc Hôtel & Spa is easily accessible without a car. Private parking is also available upon reservation, a particularly valuable asset in Collioure

    • The pool and hot tub were empty all the time we were there so it was basically private for us. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. It is one of the most expensive hotels in Collioure but we think it was better than any other option in town centre. It's just 10 mins walk from there but located in very quiet neighbourhood, while in town centre you get tourists hanging around until late night
    • A wonderful hotel placed on the high ground a short walk from the station. The rooms was just perfect for our family of four and the pool and jacuzzi with view over the hills was just perfect. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. It is only a short stroll to the market place (Sundays and Wednesdays) and the center of town with beaches and small streets. Staff was also very helpful with restaurant recommendations.
    • A beautiful hotel, well located, nice room and a really good breakfast, with very helpful staff. Highly recommended.

    Cons -

    • Nothing of note.
    • Tight turn into car park.
    • Stairs

The personal attention and friendly courtesy. The beautiful patio outside my French doors filled with flowers. The pool and massage services were excellent.

I was staying 2 nights in the hotel Madeloc. Everything was excellent. I was with my daughter. The room is clean, all necessary things you can find in the bathroom. The location is great, 6 min from the railway station and 10 min from the city centre by walking. The breakfast was tasty. On the roof of the house a heated swimming pool and jacuzzi which we thoroughly enjoyed. I will return there again ☀️

Lovely hotel close to the station. The staff were exceptional. Two reception staff helped with our travel when trains were cancelled. The receptionist who checked us in gave us a map and explanations. We followed his recommendations and had an excellent dinner and a Tapas lunch.. He carried our heavy cases to and from our room and made us coffee after we spent two hours on a station platform. The lady receptionist at lunchtime on 29th phoned SNCF concerning our onward travel. The lady in the breakfast room was friendly and helpful.

    Tight turn into car park.

Walking distance to the city centre and the railway station. No noise from cars. Very good breakfast.

    Fantastic staff, beautiful location. Amazing

There was no lift and we had two dogs with us. We were travelling to Costa Del Sol and we should have planned it better with limited luggage to prepare for different weather conditions

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. The pool and hot tub had a fabulous view

The hotel was a little difficult to find in our car. We initially drove the wrong way on the one way street that the hotel is located on.

Overall, a good experience. Staff were friendly and professional. Dinner with stay was very good.

While the food and service at dinner was very good, I felt the wines were rather overpriced with the cheapest around €45 euros- a nice house wine could have been offered at a more reasonable price.

Balcony was stunning and private secure parking(at addition cost)

    10JanetPosted on: 9-15-2024

Pool was great. Could walk to town and the hotel was quiet at night.

The breakfast was superb every day with lovely fresh produce. We felt that the location of the hotel could not have been better for us The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful

    7PeterPosted on: 9-11-2024

The Jacuzzi was good, the pool was not as heated as we would have wished, the breakfasts were good but expensive. The hotel room was smaller that we thought and reminded us of a Premier inn in style and quality.

The room was adequate rather than comfortable, the dimensions were small.

Great welcome from reception when we arrived . Great recomendation for restaurant Casa Leon fantastic meal . Cute little hotel very clean and nice decor . Lovely breakfast ,Nice pool although we didnt have time to use it . Near to town ,although a bit hilly on way back up . Dog friendly and parking .

Too many steps as no lift ,although we knew this and decided the pluses outweighed this when we booked .

We loved the Hotel Madeloc. Our room was lovely, particularly the romantic private little terrace. It was a gorgeous place to sit with a coffee.

It was all lovely. We just didn’t have a long enough stay to try out the pool!
