Hôtel Princes de Catalogne

Loved being close to everything. Parked the car and walked everywhere. The hotel staff was exceptional. We would stay again. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Bed was perfect, not too hard or too soft.

Didn’t think breakfast was worth the cost. Would look elsewhere.

Location was fantastic

Parking was confusing. They have a private garage several blocks away but you have to go to the hotel first, get your room key that opens the garage, then you can park.

The location

The bathroom was very uncomfortably.The WC was in a small space with door and no vent. The shower was very uncomfortable. Specially for tall people

Great value for money. The hotel is literally in the centre. Perfect location to walk to everything. Book a car space at hotel if you need it at the time of booking.

Likes- very close to centre of town and beach. 7 mins walk to station. Room was spacious and quiet, beds were comfortable. Bathroom was huge with shower and tub. Staff let us check in an hour early. Staff provided us with a kettle to use for hot water when requested.

Toilet was fixed quite high on wall making it awkward to use. Slight odour in bathroom. Chairs were a bit uncomfortable. Overall, not much to dislike.

Excellent location for everything . Staff were lovely and room was clean with lots of cupboard shelving etc Breakfast was plentiful.

But too warm for us and we couldn’t work the complicated thermostat system.

Clean room, clean bathroom, friendly staff

Rooms didn't look like the photos - we were told we had been upgraded but it was a tiny room. The parking is very expensive and comes at an extra cost.

This is a really lovely hotel that is very well positioned, with easy access to the centre of Collioure, the restaurants and the beach. My room was lovely, spacious and with a very comfortable bed. The man at reception was extremely helpful. Breakfast was a very reasonable price and more than adequate.

I really have nothing to complain about.

Bed was a little bit firm for me but my body got used to it on second night.

It’s getting tired, needs redecorating, cushions in room need washing, they smelled of other people’s sweat. Receptionist not very friendly or helpful

The location was the best thing about this hotel - right in the centre of Collioure. Given that, the price was better than anything else, but still rather high. Everything was as expected - clean and well maintained, with an easy check in.

Having to pay about 15 euros for parking was irritating, when you are also paying for the room. This is the same price as the public carparks, although admittedly these are often full.

The hotel was just a few minutes walk from a vast array of restaurants, shops, the harbour and beach. It was right in the heart of this delightful old town.Staff were friendly and helpful and the accommodation was clean and comfortable.

Our sat nav couldn't get us to the hotel as it is tucked away behind buildings on the main street. This was quite stressful as we arrived at a busy time during bad weather. It was eventually located after getting out and walking to the tourist office for advice ?.We were able to park outside and unload before moving the car to the secure, sheltered parking.My husband didn't like the fact that this was about 300 metres away. However, for me that wasn't a problem. It was better than having on site parking and then a long walk to the town's attractions. I guess it's down to personal preference and I only mention it so that people can make their own informed decisions.

The location was central. The staff were pleasant ( particularly 1 male receptionist who was excellent and very helpful).

The pillows were inadequate. 1 very small thin pillow does not make for a good night's sleep.A hot, free, drink making facility (kettle) in the room would be nice. We asked where we could get a hot drink and were supplied with one and it was free but seems is usually charged for.

The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. It is very close to the sea and the restaurants.
