- convenient location to shuttle for cliffs of Moher
- This was the best place we stayed over the two weeks we were in Ireland. The room was very nice. The Pub was fantastic - had great food! The staff were all very friendly! And the breakfast was the best in Ireland!

Cons -
- Website stated the hotel had a free shuttle to cliffs of moher, which is no longer true. Website stated the bus stop for the Galway bus was across the street which is also not true. It is actually a 20 min drive on your own.
- it was all great!
- Restaurant service / food / ambiance was dreadful

Everything from the rooms to the food to the view. To the service
The staff was amazing. Fiona the restaurant manager was so accommodating and friendly
No AC
A beautiful facility; enjoyed Johnny Burkes for dinner and music
The rooms were nice, but don't feel they were congruous with pricing
Amazing! The folks at at the Armada are the absolute best. Starting with Gosia at the front desk reception, and continuing on to the managers and staff in the hotel, restaurant and pub…everyone was wonderful. Our room was perfect. Comfortable, super clean and with an amazing view of the ocean. Can’t write enough good things about the Armada. This is the place to stay when looking for accommodations in the area. It may seem a little expensive - but it is well, well worth it. Mike & Mary
The location was amazing - it is right on the coast and we could see the sea from our room. Was hoping for a sunset, but the weather didn't cooperate (can't book the weather). There are three restaurants onsite, the pub menu was a little limited, but we really enjoyed the Ocean Bar & Bistro. Aileens was fantastic - best meal we had in Ireland. It is so obvious that everything is made onsite, even the bread. The room was spacious and clean, plenty of room for two women plus luggage. Beds were very comfortable. Would love to stay here again. Staff were all friendly and helpful - very accommodating for my asthma - no issues with cleaning chemicals or fragrances, for which I was extremely grateful. Go to breakfast early if you want a seat by the window.
Great setting and atmosphere, staff super friendly and helpful, very convenient and accessible for us with a young baby, and the food was exceptional.
One minor thing. The shower was very weak, and temperature control very erratic. Flittering between boiling and freezing.
Delightful relaxing hotel with excellent friendly staff to look after us , wonderful better than Michelin star food in both restaurants. Mary at the front desk was wonderful in looking after our requests. Will return soon. Outstanding views on day trips to Lahinch , Loop head & Kilkee.
We stayed in the Seascape Room for our wedding anniversary. The room and views are exceptional!! One of my favorite hotels we stayed in Ireland. Breakfast and dinner was lovely.
I think the bed could use a more cushy mattress topper. Bed was a bit hard for me.
Very relaxing place to stay. Wonderful ambience, and terrific views overlooking the ocean. Food was amazing and staff very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
Food was excellent; 5 star resort quality. Absolutly beautiful location among the natural beauty of land and sea. It is hard to top the sound of crashing waves and soaring seagulls, and this property only enhances the wonderful feeling one gets when proximate to the sea.
Hard to think of anything negative; this is a world class facility on an absolutely stunning location next to the ocean. Certainly among the best which Western Ireland has to offer. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.
Beautiful views, facilities and restaurants were amazing. Rooms were well equipped for families great family area in the hotel.
Stunning location, friendly staff, great food.
A king bed would have been lovely in the family room
Loved the sea scape suite, was so comfortable and relaxing and the view is amazing
The water in the suite bath wasn’t that hot but I’m sure they’d have fixed it had we mentioned it
The views and scenery are exceptional. Even in a windy climate, you see the place at its best. The food and drink in the hotel is very high quality. Breakfast is excellent.
It wasn’t a problem from, as I’m from Ireland , but it would be worth for some that you definitely need a car to travel to the hotel and to travel around the area of west Clare.
Breakfast was gorgeous with so much variety and excellent service. The location is incredible with breathtaking views.
Everything was amazing. The location, the staff, the food. Couldn’t fault a thing. From the moment we checked in, the whole atmosphere was outstanding. Couldn’t have felt more at home while away from home. Would definitely visit again with family.
Poor
There was a disgusting smell of sewage in our room, I spoke to staff about it, and due to hotel being at full occupancy could not facilitate a change of room.
