Staff were very nice and so was the breakfast.
Not much dinner choice.
The staff was very friendly and professional,. I enjoyed the peaceful environment and the breakfast was perdext too. The smell of the fireplace reminded me of Christmas in the countryside. I will definitely recommend it to other and will take my family with me next time.
Very welcoming and homely hotel. Cosy warm fire, very clean. Room was very clean and big bed which was very comfortable. Complementary water was appreciated. Dinner was excellent and the staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Food was tasty and plentiful.Breakfast was also very good. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning.
Nothing to dislike
The staff were wonderful- very helpful and friendly. The room was very cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotless in the bathroom too. The restaurant is lovely and the service was excellent The breakfast had a great variety of food too.
I didn’t like the apple crumble dessert although the main meal was lovely. The foyer of the hotel is a great space and while the fire is very inviting I feel they could do a lot more to make it initially a more inviting and interesting place to greet guests. This is only a suggestion.
Lovely hotel in a quiet area.Lovely, friendly, helpful staff; especially Stephanie at reception.
The only criticism is that the hot food at breakfast, was not piping hot.The ladies changing room by the pool, could have been cleaner, more specifically, the floors.
Spacious rooms, very friendly staff and great food
Friendliness- lively leisure centre. Very quiet room overlooking the golf course E chargers on site for the car
Decor just a little tired. But everything else was so good.
Staff were amazing and very friendly. Was lovely to chat with one of the co owners . The bar had musicians playing and the whole place was decorated beautifully for Christmas.
This is an outstanding hotel to stay at. Everything was exceptional, clean, staff superb, beds comfortable, beautiful open fire in the reception, health club with swimming, steam, sauna, was very much appreciated after a long day. The breakfast was superb too, hot plates, a very nice welcome from staff as you arrived for the buffet breakfast, hot drinks at your table when you came back with your food. The grounds are very tidy overlooking a golf course, there was no noise in the night. A very restful and respectable hotel, and would definitely book again. Even the owner of the hotel and spoke to us at the evening meal, exceptional.
Lovely welcome, good service and evening meal.
Great nights sleep. Bed was so comfy. Staff were great. Food excellent. Definitely be staying again
Couldn't fault anything
The reception and bar staff where excellent. Often in other hotels they can be almost robotic but the staff I met were really friendly
The breakfast was a big let down. I wanted to have it in my room and it seems that you can't have tea or coffee provided if you choose that. That's a first for me. The bacon was over cooked. The only sliced pan was gluten free, which is good for celiac people but I'm not. The eggs were rubbery and the puddings burnt. I popped in 40 minutes before closing, maybe that's too late for this hotel. At 15 euros I felt that the quality was well below what I'm used to getting in other hotels.
Good price... beds were comfy
Very outdated... reception area nothing like photos.. i found areas of hotel dirty.. esp the changing rooms for pool.. was only 3 breakfast bowls and they were dirty. Bar wad jam packed.. menu was trerrible and overpriced.. wings were burnt to crisp... on check in room wasnt ready .. at 3.20pm.. checkin was 3.. I hate leaving bad reviews
The bar staff were very helpful and polite .Food was good ..Futon was useful for 11 yr old.Pool was ok.Shower was hot and powerful.
Extremely noisy all night long as there was a wedding on on both nights .People screaming and fighting in the corridor all night .We got absolutely no sleep and ruined our second day as we were so tired. The bar was horrifically overcrowded and noisy when we tried to have evening food.It was very difficult to get our order taken and very difficult to enjoy our meal.Therewas no where else for us to go and nothing to do in the hotel as all areas were taken over by the wedding crowds on both of our 2 night stays .Beds were very creaky and lumpy, carpet worn and outdated .Tv very small and could only be seen from one bed.So only 1 person out of 3 could see it.
the room was good, clean and spacious, good bathroom too
when we got into the room, windows were open, and it was freezing cold outside, the bar looked beat up, the service just average, the whole hotel itself seems to need a good update as it is advertised as a 4 stars hotel. The room was good and clean.
Really good breakfast in a very nice surrounding. All staff we met were exceptionally pleasant and helpful, sign of a happy team.
No complaints.
Lovely friendly staff with great service and lovely food.
I think if the fire was lighting in the bar sitting area it would give it a homely feeling.
Cosy comfortable hotel and rooms.Friendly staff.Great customer service.Leisure facilities very relaxing
